I just figured I’d post this here since this video is about the motion 300. I wanted as many people to see/read this as possible. So soundcore can get enough complaints about the distortion on the motion 300 and fix it.
This speaker has too much distortion. Play the song wine pon you by Doja cat in SoundCore’s signature sound mode and at max volume you will hear distortion.
It’s the cross over from when the high bass drops down to the low bass (sub bass) that I hear distortion in her voice.
I tried to eq it to fix the issue but that didn’t seem to help. I turned down the bass when I EQ’d it and of course I still heard distortion.

Most likely the same as 90% of all decent Bluetooth speakers: a common pair of 18650 Li-ion cells.

All of JBL's Bluetooth speakers are now monaural.
That's why I highly recommend Motion300.
In the first place, music was made to be listened to in stereo, so the JBL, which only has monaural speakers, is an old transistor radio that produces a loud sound.

Anker 300 is stereo and jbl flip 6 is mono.
The soundcore motion 300 is stereo but the drivers aren’t spread that far apart because it’s not a huge speaker. I think the vocals sound better on the JBL flip 6 on some songs and I think the vocals sound better on the soundcore motion 300 on other songs.
I think when it come to rock music the vocals sound a tiny bit clearer on the JBL flip 6 but the soundstage is more boxy on the JBL flip 6 when it comes to rock music or any music.
No matter what speaker you are talking about or comparing such as the soundcore motion 300 vs the JBL flip 6 or also vs the new Klipsch Nashville, it’s all subjective. All down to personal opinion.
You shouldn’t fault someone for choosing the JBL over the soundcore or vice versa.
