    I have the blue dial but it's hard to see in low light condition. I bought the blue because everyone said it's the first choice. Now I wish I have chosen the white dial.

      Nothing wrong with the blue, an awesome combination. The blue dial is what drew me to the DJ41 but after trying on both went with the white because of its versatility. All the variations are great, can't go wrong with either.

    I just got this exact watch. And love it. I have had many Rolexes in my life and I have found they always run fast. It will be interesting to see if this runs slow as yours does. One strange quirk is my date changes at 10 minutes past midnight. All my other Rolexes flip date one minute after. Rolex feels this isn’t a problem at all. I love the cyclops window. It really enlarges the date and is as recognizable as the Rolex crown.

    I'm currently wearing my DJ41 Mother of Pearl diamond dial. It's been on the wrist most of the days since February 2, 2022.
    I wear this, my Tudor Black Bay Steel and Vacheron Constantin "Devil horns" the most.

    Thank you for posting both of the videos on this watch, it was very helpful. These watches are not small investments, you want to be crystal clear on the decision. I knew I wanted the white stick dial on jubilee. Like many here, I was on the fence with fluted or flat, and your videos showed how well this combo works. The biggest hesitancy I had was that it would be too blingy or flashy. I received mine last week, and I haven't felt that to be the case unless I am looking at it closely and moving it around. I have found it to be versatile and easily dressed up or down. I have a watch collection, but if I were to be a 1 watch person, I could see this easily fitting the bill. Curious how long after you got it that you noticed the accuracy slowing down? Thanks again for the great reviews and info. Keep up the great work!

      Thanks for the kind comment. I only tested the accuracy after two years. I read that this problem has been addressed in later models so if yours is a recent acquisition you are probably fine.

    Great review, and I'm glad you mentioned the accuracy issue. Did you ever send this watch in for a warranty repair or find out if Rolex fixed the issue?

      I decided not to send it in from what I heard nothing was getting "fixed" they would just regulate it.

    Jubilee bracelet is beautiful. Love this watch. I’m torn between smooth vs fluted bezel. Since the jubilee bracelet is blingy, I’m leaning towards a smooth bezel.

    • @witkidone

      Fluted all the way. Compliments the Jubilee bracelet perfectly and the smooth bezel looks a lil plain on a watch that has the Jubilee.

    • @akshaymalik5591
      @akshaymalik5591 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In my opinion a Jubilee bracelet is a must. If going for a white dial, even i prefer a smooth bezel as it strike the balance between a jazzy strap and an elegant dial. The downside of the smooth bezel is it shows more scratches.
      My pick is Wimbledon dial, jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel.

    • @rex86uk
      @rex86uk 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have the white dial DJ41 with a jubilee bracelet and smooth bezel. It looks really great. The combo doesn’t work with all dial combinations I’ve seen the Wimbledon variant and it looks quite bad in my eyes as the Wimbledon suits best with the fluted bezel with jubilee. Whatever the case jubilee is a must on a datejust

    read about how a rolex crown is supposed to be in between the words "swiss made" instead of the number 30 at the 06:00 mark, as a sign of authenticity. can someone please verify if this is true? thank you!

    • @DavidPhamChannel
      @DavidPhamChannel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Rolex crown replaced the "30" sometime during 2019. Models produced before that time will have the "30".

      Never been much of a fan of the wimbledon dial myself but I know many people really like it. I'd say you can wear it pretty casual as long as your shorts and shirt fit well and and are on the smart casual side.

    • @DavidPhamChannel
      @DavidPhamChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, I find the 41 perfect for my wrist and because of the slim profile does not wear chunky at all. White watches tend to wear larger so it feels a little bigger than the other dial options.

    • @Thomas-se3tb
      @Thomas-se3tb 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DavidPhamChannel Awesome thanks for the advice! Didn’t realize white faces appear bigger but that’s good to know. I was going to get a black dial so 41 would be perfect then. How do you like the jubilee bracelet? I’ve heard it’s super light compared to the oyster

    • @DavidPhamChannel

      @@DavidPhamChannel I own the same watch as well, just wanted to say thanks for posting your original video. Back in May 2019, I must have gone back and forth from your video at least 100X because there were no other reviews on the white stick dial. The only other video out there at the time was from Jaztime, but it wasn't a review and it was more of a sales ad. I think you are right, currently, there seems to be a lot more hype now on the white dials. Once you see it in person, it's undeniably beautiful. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. Nearly two years later, I still love my watch. To most people, and they are probably right, as they view it as a fairly common watch because the DJ is one of the most purchased Rolexes from the lineup, but to me, this one is special. It wears beautifully. They made this one just right. I don't think most people will get it until they actually owned one. I find that the longer you wear it, the more and more you will appreciate it. It's almost like they spent a little more time on this one, and got the design down right but it takes time to notice the effort that went in the design phase. I often wondered if Rolex designed and based the ideal DJ in this colour combo because from their catalogue the white dial is the first combo choice they show during the configuration module. I'm probably way off here but it would be a cool story if it were true lol. Enjoy your watches David and Der Diegolino!

      @@DavidPhamChannel I’ve never understood the snobbery around size. If rolex discontinued the 36 in favor of the 41, then sure be pissed, but I happen to have quite large wrists. So large in fact I can make a 47 mm submersible from panerai look reasonable. So I think I’ll happily be buying your reference. Love it btw
