He's one of the only singers I listen to that I would rather hear live than on a recorded track. He has pure talent and deserves way mroe attention than he gets!
I'm fifteen for a moment Caught in between ten and twenty And I'm just dreaming Counting the ways to where you are I'm twenty two for a moment She feels better than ever And we're on fire Making our way back from Mars Fifteen, there's still time for you Time to buy and time to lose Fifteen, there's never a wish better than this When you only got hundred years to live I'm thirty-three for a moment I'm still the man, but you see I'm of age A kid on the way, babe A family on my mind I'm forty-five for a moment The sea is high And I'm headin' into a crisis Chasing the years of my life Fifteen, there's still time for you Time to buy and time to lose yourself Within a morning star Fifteen, I'm alright with you Fifteen, there's never a wish better than this When you only got hundred years to live Half time goes by Suddenly you're wise Another blink of an eye Sixty-seven is gone The sun is gettin' high We're movin' on I'm ninety nine for a moment And dyin' for just another moment And I'm just dreaming Counting the ways to where you are Fifteen, there's still time for you Twenty-two, I feel her too Thirty-three, you're on your way Every day's a new day Ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh Fifteen, there's still time for you Time to buy and time to choose Hey fifteen, there's never a wish better than this When you only got hundred years to live
@LordFancourt nothing to do with the song? you're kidding, right? It is very much in line with the song. the transition in life is like the transition of an individual athlete in sports. this is not to glorify sports (that is way to commercial) but maybe this song captures some of what little is left in sports that is TRUE and GENUINE. I;m not a hockey person, but WOW! Gretzky as 99?!?!?. Well done performance and well done on the sports metaphor.
Doubt very much it's the reporter's fault - more like the director and it could have been a time issue. Those shows are run by White Rabbit like characters - you know - "I'm Late I'm Late for a very important date." Agree with you - he's amazing.

Good old days!!!
i commented on this video 5 years ago and here i am still watching it. lol
I played bits and pieces of this particular montage version in my mind whenever I hear this song, so I'm glad I've finally located it! #LateToTheParty
Damn
You must be the real Sunny Kofax
Probably the BEST live rendition I have heard.
i like how they synced the years he was aying to the jersey numbers
Perhaps the best live version of "100 Years" I've found. Beautiful all around.
I have been looking for this video ever since TH-cam began. I actually stopped looking for a couple of years. I am so glad he posted this.
one of my favorite songs, it's just so damn good.
gets you emotional
i think this is his best live performance
2:07
^ Had to come back to this song considering that I just turned 22 years old this year🎉🎶
This artist sounds so much better than live than recording...
Was watching sportscenter when he performed this live. it was awesome.
my favorite is wilt chamberlain holding up his 100 points at the end... what a great way to end a beautiful song and montage
We chose Philly for reason.
Love this song!
I'm fifteen for a moment
Caught in between ten and twenty
And I'm just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are
I'm twenty two for a moment
She feels better than ever
And we're on fire
Making our way back from Mars
Fifteen, there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to lose
Fifteen, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got hundred years to live
I'm thirty-three for a moment
I'm still the man, but you see I'm of age
A kid on the way, babe
A family on my mind
I'm forty-five for a moment
The sea is high
And I'm headin' into a crisis
Chasing the years of my life
Fifteen, there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to lose yourself
Within a morning star
Fifteen, I'm alright with you
Fifteen, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got hundred years to live
Half time goes by
Suddenly you're wise
Another blink of an eye
Sixty-seven is gone
The sun is gettin' high
We're movin' on
I'm ninety nine for a moment
And dyin' for just another moment
And I'm just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are
Fifteen, there's still time for you
Twenty-two, I feel her too
Thirty-three, you're on your way
Every day's a new day
Ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Fifteen, there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to choose
Hey fifteen, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got hundred years to live
That was his last game before retirement. And the shot right after was him in his OIlers Uniform, probably during his first Stanley winning game.

I like how the drummer appears to be 45 and 15 years old at the same time.

People who don't have 100 years to live.

@@diggestbik3238 15 and 22 crossed off.. wonder if ill still watch it when im 33
probably a tribute for when he retired
Damn, who knew this song was about sports!
That tends to be how it is with piano-centered groups; gotta appreciate that.
@terminator0271 KEWL! Thanks.
That bit from 4:18-4:23, what game was that and why were they all wearing his jersey? I know he's like the greatest hockey player of all time but why?
It was at his retirement ceremony
wait, what year was this
What year was the preformance.....2009????
like 2003.. I was watching
so this song has another side to it... lol u can use this song with different perspectives.
@XxBrOoKlYnKiDxX a little bit more like John C. Riley tho
