I've always wrapped "the controversial bit" a different way, but I've come to realize that 1) it doesn't matter 99% of the time, because there's so much tension and adhesive on tape, and also the amount of time spent in the drops vs the hoods or tops is usually pretty low, and 2) it works better for showing the writing or logo on bar tape (e.g. "Fizik"), and so now I actually like the way you've done it. Nice real-world video!
Wrapped my new top shelf bars a couple of days ago, first time that I’ve tried to do bar tape and it wasn’t to bad at all, how about a video on setting up tubeless next 👍
Maybe a vid on choosing a new bar for your gravel bike, how much flair? How wide? My bike came with normal drops which is fine on the road but doesn’t inspire much confidence on the rougher steeper stuff!
That looks much easier than the proper way. The bit I always find hardest is the bar end part. I can never get the bloody things to go in and hold all of the tape too. There's always a bit still sticking out. Also, if trains are going to 'appear' in the videos we should get to see some 😉 (not a trainspotter honest guv 😳)
I have yet to have to wrap my bars but can't see any issue with this. What reason do all of the pros give for not wrapping from the end? Nice art on the shed, by the way.

Actually I was just watching a Bikespeeds video and he wrapped from end to middle.
