- In this call, Julie is shocked to find out that a car was rented in her name and that authorities found 22 lbs of cocaine in it! Yikes!
If you encounter a scam call like this, be sure to report it to BBB Scam Tracker: www.bbb.org/sc...
You had a car with 22 lbs. of cocaine? Mine had 30 lbs. in it. Rookie. :-D
Jeff Swanson---I would have told them that I will be right there to pick it up!!!!😁
The Tazzman 🤣🤣
Mine had 40 lbs in it.
:D
Mine had 22 too.
I’m cracking up over here at the thought of someone walking into your office & seeing a sticky note on your desk that says 22 pound of cocaine in Texas 🤣
22 pounds of marijuana may be possible on a desk in California but 22 pounds of cocaine on a desk in Texas now that's lies on top of lies..
Along with another sticky note with 9 years of jail time and the fine he threatened.
B.B.B. Wisconsin Damn, these scammers. Good job tho
@@BBBWisconsin I think you are guilty of these crimes!
Omg I was rolling.
“We found 22 lbs of cocaine.”
“Wasn’t me.”
Embellishment: "It *couldn't* be twenty-two pounds of Cocaine! I specifically remember that very job and we took in thirty-seven pounds at the time! One of your workers is holding out fifteen pounds on you!!" 😻
It's not Mine !!!.
This scam is older than dirt. I'm surprised
that they haven't changed their scam.
The script is almost identical to the one from Alogical's video.
They use the same script for various scams in India. So sad when they make only pennies a day for the real scammers, the ones who run the place.
Worst thing is they pay for this script XD
Why change what they make millions on? People are stupid enough to fall for this 🤣.
The attempt at an American accent is hysterical!
*Why do they bother?*
Literally the first thought 😂
Today mine was like that and I was asking if he spoke French and he said yes and his American friends make fun of his French accent lol
@@AirQuotes848 because there are gullible people out there that actually give them money
It is at least understandable 🤷🏼♂️
I've received these calls 3 times now. All of them said it was a Toyota Corolla in Texas. Found 22 lbs cocaine and blood residue in it. Then told me a house in my name was raided for drugs, guns and paperwork in my name. Kept asking me if I've ever been to Texas. I live in Texas. Told me that the FBI main office would be coming for me. I had to correct him and told him FBI offices are called field offices. Told him I would consult my dad (who really is an FBI agent). He laughed and hung up. Social security office will never ever call you. You can tell right away it's a scam when you hear that accent. It's funny they use American names. One call they got as far telling me that I would have to withdraw all my bank account money and put it in a lock box for 24 hours. Then they ask you for this lock box in which they will transfer all your money to themselves. They will tell you they will issue you a new SS #. It's all a scam. The minute you hear this accent and they say "IRS" or "SS OFFICE" hang up!
Sorry dude, but you don't need to give out your ssn to rent a car... Thanks for sharing Julie! Keep up the great work! ATB : )
I had this exact same call. I said that I was in Texas and I had in fact rented a car because I was visiting a friend at that residence. It messed the guy up because I went off script. When he went silent thinking how to proceed, I asked "Can I ask you a question?" He said "Yes you can." I then asked "Did you find the body?" He immediately hung up. I called him back and told him I wanted to confess. He wasn't having it.
Toyota must be really proud of these scammers, free advertising haha
Yes you check out everything.
GEO CAMP Ijust had a missed call from these assholes. I’m going to do that.
I had a robocall from the same type of scam. I called back on my untraceable cell phone ( shows Wisconsin call.) I don't have Julie's patience. As soon as they answer and start reading their script I say "You're not who you say you are. You aren't even in the United States, stop trying to scam people!" Short and sweet!! 🤪
I got one who said she was with my local police, and that police were already on their way. So I said, then why call me? I'll just talk to them when they get here. :)
@elmosmidlap I've had fun on other scam calls. I have had them call me some pretty foul
words such as motherf**king as*hole. I returned the same! On another scam, after hearing his "script" I asked him if he was a scammer. He replied quite politely" Yes, I am."
Since he was nice about it I said " OK, have a great day!" He thanked me and said" You too."
The best revenge is to piss them off enough for them to start cussing. Because that’s when their high blood pressure goes up
I guess the lesson here is be very careful about dating 22 pounds of cocaine.
" Officer Wilson, my beige ID number is ......" 😁
What surprises me is how long these guys take to get to the point. You’d think that just gives victims more time to think and then realize this isn’t possible.
Oh hey, Kitboga spoke with "Officer Victor Wilson" also! Appreciate the awareness :)
It's Vector not Victor!
OMG 22lb of cocaine your a buzy ladie 😆😆😆 they must be getting desperate with the scams if there trying to pull stuff like that.😆 awesome video.
“The Federal Higher Government”
Do These Scammers Realize How Dumb They Sound? I Swear They All Follow The Same Stupid Guide Book.
“I never stole anything, I’ve never been to Texas, I’ve never seen cocaine; those are all facts.” 😂😂😂
Nice job. Thank you for wasting their time.
When these people call me and say I could be arrested by the "law enforcement agency" I just tell them that's who I work for and ask for a case number. They hang up.
These scams would be comical if they weren't criminal.
Unbelievable! SS would never make a call like this. Issue you a new number too?
Thank you for making these videos... your great!
This just happened to me today and as soon as i asked how i do i know this is the SSA,,,they responded with...CLICK.end of conversation.before hand they said my ssd check was suspected of fraud.funny how they said Lb's instead of kilos in your video when knowone uses the weight in LBs when refuring coke.the asian accent was a dead give away when they called me.i called the ssa and confirmed im in the clear.so im assuming everything is fine.first time for me.
They try to make themselves “important “ by saying they are officer or administrator .😩🤷🏿♀️🤷🏿♀️
Wow.
"Yes, we found 22 lbs of cocaine in your car..."
"Ok, so...can I get that back?"
"Sorry???"
"Yeah, 22 lbs is around 10 kilos. That's worth just about $350,000 depending on the buyer. So can I get my stuff back?"
Great video detailing how this scam can work. I can see anyone elderly could fall for this.
lol
That's the bad thing. If some elderly person hearing their SSN is going to be suspended and fearing they won't get their SS payment if their SSN is suspended and out of fear they send these parasites money and afterwards they can't buy medication they need. These people don't even need to be alive. They're just stealing the good air that everyone else needs.
It is disturbing that these scams are still happening. If all of the stores that sell these gift cards would put up signs informing people that would cut down on so many people being scammed. They put up signs for everything else so why can't they put up signs warning people to never buy these cards for someone who says they are from the IRS, SS, Federal grants, ect?
Most stores like target and walmart do put these signs up (to warn ppl of the scams)... but i guess some ppl either don't pay attention or they are just so intimidated by the scammers that they buy them anyways out of fear
They said the same to me 22 lbs of drugs in my car but I never had a car in my life, when they say they gonna suspend my SS number, I said do it. Next week I still get my stimulus check lol
What I wouldn’t give for Julie’s reply to be, “You caught me!”
I would have said oh the cocaine was mine but there was 48 lbs. How can I get it back?
Tale Gunner that’s exactly what I do lol and I tell them there should have been a package of heroin with it too and what about the guns ? They weren’t there?
What I always wonder is why the US government is outsourcing its law enforcement calls to india.
LOL, you should have said no no no, I was carrying 22 lbs of propane, not cocaine.
I realized I'm being scammed as I was watching this
What really grinds my gears is whenever I try to stay on the line with them, they almost immediately hang up on me.
Thank you so much for distracting these jerks who scams people.
*6:10*
*_“Well that wasn’t me...”_*
🤦🏻♂️😂
Trying to hide his accent but still talking in fractured English. 😅
For some reason when I get calls from
Scammers I wish I knew there location so I could run up on them with the glock
india
Yeah it's all india man. What model glock do you have?
Well still there are lot of people from your country are still getting scammed by indians brother i dont think that this will be ever get stopped because indians are making a lot of money from your country
Yeah sure buddy. You’re too busy eating McDonald’s
Youre not gonna do that . That’s a fact
Thanks as always Julie - they were so bizarre even for a scam like this
Julie. Is. A. Straight. Baddie. 😍
lol
“For the $150 k penalty, can I just give you a few pounds of coke” ?
I love it when they call me! I have a blast messing with them. Their number actually comes up sometimes. And when it does I call them all day lol
I get calls like that all the time and i don't answer them. I let them go to voicemail amd listen to it later. I get calls like my SS# has been suspended due to illegal activity and i know its not true. Voicemail is a wonderful thing
I do the same thing.
Michelle Thornboy one time I got a call in January about me missing some doctors appointment that they said was in February of that same year...makes sense right? XD
They called and said that same thing to us exactly the same thing to my husband today at 8 AM in the morning
I actually had the same call and same case apparently. The scammers got mad when I asked him to send a cop to my place and talk to me in person. I also questioned his Badge/Certification and he got even more mad and started raising his voice. I then hung up the phone and called the Real SSN people and reported it, froze my SSN so no one can run my credit, and added security alert to my SSN.
we get scammers calling our home phone alot. Best advice i can give is don't answer any unknown numbers, let your answering machine get it Google the numbers that show up to see if there is a complaint on that number,and..dont call them back
Hey Julie! It would be a lot more interesting if you played along a little more. The longer you keep IRS or "Indian Revenue Scammers" on the phone the less time they have with people they could really scam. Thanks for your work. I watch every one.
This video was cut down from over 20 minutes of call time. We do try to string them along as much as possible, but edit it down to make it easier to watch. Thanks for watching!
Hey
@@BBBWisconsin Thank god you do. I like this format better. Other guys show the entire 30 minutes or even 90 minutes & it gets harder to pay attention to it.
@@BBBWisconsin to be honest, any time you spend wasting their time while having fun is greatly appreciated. Kitboga spends hours with them pretending to be many people, it's hilarious. I appreciate both of you and the rest!
It's no use. Most of these scam call centers are either paying their employees very little or pay comission only. They simply will add more to their staff because it's costing them virtually nothing.
About 5 years ago, I had a number pop up on my caller ID that showed it was from MOSCOW. I'm a chauffeur and one of my clients lived in Moscow and I was on my way to pick him up at the airport. I thought it was him calling me to say that he wasn't coming in. It was a scammer.
The scammer stated that he was with the IRS and they had been trying to reach me for the last 6 months. When I informed him that I had gone through a house fire and relocated, he said that this matter was very serious and that he had an arrest team waiting to come out to arrest me if I don't take care of this situation.
I then asked him how Edward Snowden was working out as the new Director for the IRS; in his opinion?
He said that Snowden wasn't the new Director and why would I think that he was?
I informed him that I knew the call was originating from Moscow and that the only American cheat associated with the US Government hiding out in Russia is Edward Snowden; I just assumed that they had to be silently working together?
The next thing I heard was the "AGENT" hanging up the phone. Obviously he was not raised with proper manners.
I can't believe people are still falling for this.
I was just scammed like this today. I gave them the last 4 digits of my ss#. And I told them about my bank accounts, but I gave them no specific account numbers, luckily. When the call ended, they said they would call me back in 15 minutes, but never did. If they call me again i will know what to say or just hang up. Thank you for this information!!!
'Well that wasn't me' aaaaaaand I'm screaming laughing. I am so enjoying going down the rabbit hole of these videos. If RuPaul doesn't do a segment on Drag Race with the queens as scammers and you as judge, I am giving up TV :D
I'm from Texas, and the call I got, they said I would lose my social security benefits if I didn't take some home tests(that they would send to me) for cancer. I just hung up. What was so funny, I have been on the phone for a couple of weeks with the real social security people, getting my husband retired. I wish now I would have played along a little longer.
If only Social Security were really monitoring SSNs for criminal activity like this.
Great video and thanks for helping to spread awareness about these scams. 👍
This is good.
You can hear the boiler room of SCAMMERS in the back ground . . . .
had two calls in the past 2 days with the same purpose - once I give them fake information they realize its fake - what information did you provide them to have them go that far into the call?
For some reason when I get calls from
Scammers I wish I knew there location so I could run up on them with the glock.
Thank you for this video I just got a phone call about what you're talkin about now I'm not pissing my pants
I swear that Toyota Corolla has been abandoned for years now!
I contacted the Social Security Department to find out if I could get a new card and they said that they don't issue new cards. So if your number is stolen, you have to basically deal with it.
I just had the exact same thing happen to me today. It was a very busy day at work. I guess you could say that I was blindsided.I actually had applied for a new Social Security card about two weeks ago. I almost fell for their scheme.
Sometimes, I wonder if these people can somehow gain access to information like you applying for a new SS card? Or was it just happenstance that they called you while you were trying to get a new card?
I got a call similar to the one this woman got saying my SSN would be suspended because it was used to open a bank account with 10 million dollars in it in El Paso, Texas for use in drugs, gun running and money laundering. I was kinda hoping he was legit cuz if he was I was gonna head straight to El Paso and get my money. 😂🤣
The raided the address on the title of a rental car?
Must have been a very exciting day at Avis corporate headquarters.
I confirmed with the car warranty scammers that I own a 2016 Pontiac Grand Prix and they bought it. In case you didn't know, Pontiac ceased production long before that. Lol
I told them, "yes, I have been to taxas. You didn't fund the guns did you? " lol
Lol I asked them if they found the bodies 😂😂
They found toilet paper hidden in cocaine 😂😂😂
Its Sad that Indian Govt not taking any Action against these Scammers
The most ridiculous part of this call is that the guy is supposedly named "Victor Wilson"
Funny, it's always 22lbs of cocaine in Texas for every single person.
I received such a call today when will these people Stop what is being done to stop them.
I got the exact description of the car on the border deal. I wasted so much of these people's time, it was funny when he found out I was just playing with him.
He Never Mentioned the 3rd Party of the Higher Authority.
I hope the FBI or the BBB gets this creep
This literally happened to me like 5 mins ago. I hung up after he asked me for my name
Would drug traffickers be driving Toyota's while transporting cocaine?
Oh my God!! The SSA doesn't do stuff like this! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Right🤣🤣 never🤣🤣
This is why I never answer my phone, lol!
Hi Julie and team, that was something else. Never had that call yet,, as always we love watching your videos. Keep up the great work. Your friends from Canada.
I have a voice mail now asking me to call them back due to social security issues.
0:50
He went from Judy to
kuty???
😝🤣
22lbs if cocaine I thought you told me you had over 50lbs lmao
Tell the scammer 'Repeat that' as many times as possible in one call before they hang up.
I had one of these the other day so I checked the weather in Texas and made it opposite to what it was. They fell for it. New weather was flooding and seriously heavy rain . Of course they still continue with their script. When they said money was wired I acted dumb and asked if I'm getting that money
6:14 "................that's right." LMFAO.
Greetings from Connecticut juli3 great job..it wasn't me 22 pounds of cocaine Julie lol you rock 🖤😆😆🤣🤣you rock ..thanks for spreading the word
Yes war trolling.
I love Julie. No scam.
I had the same type of call except I was able to connect to multiple victims telling them that they are being scammed
It is always the same story - apparently, the people who use my social security number always buy 22 pounds of coke, drive a Toyota Corrolla, and leave it stranded with blood residue by the Mexican border.
I usually tell them I am home and they can tell the police to come and get me.
The only thing more ridiculous than these bastard scammers are their scripts .
We here in Northern Ireland been getting scam calls saying there from Amazon prime maybe you could do one on this
Here is the law: Title 18 U.S.C.A. § 912 provides:
Whoever falsely assumes or pretends to be an officer or employee acting under the authority of the United States or any department, agency or officer thereof, and acts as such, or in such pretended character demands or obtains any money, paper, document, or thing of value, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
Thus, there are two possible offenses under § 912: (1) pretending to be a federal agent and acting as such; and (2) pretending to be a federal agent and demanding or obtaining certain listed items. This article addresses the elements of the first offense-falsely pretending to be a federal agent and acting as such.
That happened to me week ago and after many questions i hangout the call and after one minute someone called me to come to me to arrest me asking me my location to send her team to hand cuff me and i said if u going to arrest me is because u know where i am right now she said is from the state police department so i told her come and get me and she said give me ur location to get u bla bla....but the phone number actually was from the state police department ! So how they can gett that number and called me ?
Some scammer call me this morning and he side “We have received against your Social Security number by the federal crime ___ investigation department we need to talk to you as soon as possible again this call is from Social Security administration number to reach department is ..... i was like. 😲😱🤣
Funny the BBB isn't any sort of government agency, but pretends it is in intentionally deceptive ways. Did I just watch a scammer call a scammer?
To clarify, I personally have nothing against the BBB beyond people assuming it's a government agency when it isn't, and the response. The BBB doesn't really do anything to dispel this concept on any meaningful level, which leaves me feeling they are complacent with allowing the false perception to further falsely legitimize themselves.
Hi Shawn McCuan, sorry you feel this way. At Wisconsin BBB we actively try to educate people about what we do and who we are as a nonprofit organization, and when we introduce ourselves and BBB to others we always specifically say "non-governmental". We also prefer to say "BBB" instead of Better Business Bureau, since Bureau implies government. Hopefully that helps explain a bit of what we do to combat the perception that we are funded by the government.
It is sad that these scammers think Americans are that stupid.
That 22 pounds of coke was subposed hold me over for Friday night.
whenever the scammers call me what I say is I have this pain in my neck you need my credit card number let me bend over and get my card for you I have a little pain in my neck cuz I was in a car crash hold on and then I scream into the phone as loud as I can. And then I come back and say hello hello hello they hung up I wonder why he he
Got a call from these folks this morning. I had a lot of driving to do so I called them back.....a lot......like 18 times. They can cuss really well, all i was trying to do was tell them to find a new hustle
I just got the same phone call except it was 100 lbs. of cocaine. I gave them a huge fit about that I had paid the taxes on the cocaine and the shipment was a gender reveal gift for my Aunt Bobby. He asked if I was claiming the vehicle and drugs were mine. I replied yes, and I am a member of the NAACP and they are illegally holding my shipment! And If I do not receive my items back and a reimbursement for the rental, I will hand this phone number to the NRA in which they will shut down the SS Administration...(he then hung up!) Which I thought was rude! He did recite a lot of personal information though. I hate these hackers!
You are keeping it on. Keep going.
I explain you. Do you have any quaystions?
Would have been gold if you had asked him to Fed Ex the cocaine back to you.
