Hyundai Imax 2.5 D4CB diesel, no power, vacuum failure

a quick look at a hyundai imax that had a failed vacuum pump, the brake booster had an aftermarket vacuum pump fitted, but no vacuum ran to the boost control system.
cylinder contributions were all over the shop so injectors were removed for inspection.
