Why film on a Bicycle
Traditional video makers tend to walk, which unless great care is taken, produces a bounce in the video footage. I find filming on a motorbike can be too fast, not allowing you to take in the scenery. The bicycle allows me to interact with people whilst providing smooth footage. If you find it is still too fast, then you can slow the video speed down to half speed, which will still be 30 frames per second. Industry normal is 24/25 frames per second.
Why doesn’t the footage look clear
Sometimes I make an error when shooting the video (but very rarely) The most common cause is that your internet connection on YT has set the resolution to below 4K, so check your settings.
Camera Equipment
Since starting the channel I have used my trusty DJI Osmo Pocket 2 (Creator combo) I am now using the Pocket 3
The Combo comes with a Bluetooth microphone which has given great performance, even when riding at speed. I film at 4K & 60 frames per second, my light and ISO settings are on Auto. The Camera is strapped to my left wrist (so it might appear that I am close to things on the left). I control the Camera head via an application on my phone (Mimo), using my right hand Thumb.

Jomtien Beach Condo now very handy for the baht bus on second road, it's a lot quicker to get to Pattaya now as your not trundling along beach road.. now they tend to go flat out 😂

I am a fan of the one way Beach Road. So much less crazy and less dangerous to cross. I think it is nearly as busy but because the road is less crazy, it just appears less busy. I've never walked down there where every place wasn't popping during peak hours.
About 200 businesses complained to city hall, as business had dropped with the changes. Personally I don't mind it, but it has upset some 🙏🙏

Thanks David. Glad to see a quick look at the Riviera, that was a place I kept hearing about, not surprised that it is pricey.
I stayed there for 3 nights last year. The apartments are lovely, very modern and the view is great if you're on a reasonably high floor. But they are tiny. I was climbing the walls by Day 3. Good for a short break I'd say but I couldn't live there on a long lease.
Try before you rent or buy. I have Lone Star and Rumours across the road from where I stay in Jomtien. They have live bands playing loudly, effectively outdoors, until 2AM every night. And there is an indoor bar nearby with live music that goes on until 3:15 every night. Have yet to find to complain, as way beyond the legal curfew. Pattaya and other areas must be the same.

Good video thanks, stayed a while at a bungalow in VillaNavin that you passed near the start, (last Aug). good location! Also tried Ramen Ozawa , surprised when they gave me a menu with 'Russian' on the front cover, but it did have English as well 😊.

Granted I'm not the brightest bulb in the shed, but I didn't understand the point of the Audi TTS/Police christmas party story. Why did they invite her? What does it have to do with the Audi? Did you get distracted and not finish the story?
It was just the fact the police had noticed the car at her shop and came visiting with a printed invite. Just that they notice everything,🙏🙏

I bought my condo years ago in Jomtien Beach and got a great deal at the time. I had so many friends ask me why i bought it there and not in Pattaya. Most of the. Have moved out of Pattaya now. I do miss when it was a sleeper town. It is so busy now, but i still like it. I remember what it was in the mid-80s.

Brouke is a very trendy coffee shop with the young Thais who come all dressed in white for the instagram photoshoots outside there and on the opposite beach. The one way is a bad accident waiting to happen. Even during the day motorbike taxis, food deliveries and even foreigners are tearing down the wrong way. Went to Nirvana GC couple of weeks back. Lots of girls outside on their phones totally disinterested with those inside. Never again.
Pussy galore is fine if you like your older style GCs and girls to match.
That seems to be the general opinion of Nirvana GC. Low quality and zero interest.
