Four Great Rivers: A Resource for the World

This 20 minute video narrated by Daniel C. Taylor provides a glimpse into the wonder and majesty of the Four Great Rivers Nature Preserve in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. The preserve includes the headwaters of the the Yangtze, Salween, Mekong, and Brahmaputra rivers and is world's fourth largest protected area. With the designation of Four Great Rivers, 40% of Tibet, China is now under protected area status.
In 2007, Travel + Leisure awarded a Global Vision Award to Future Generations for its work in protecting the Four Great Rivers Nature Preserve.
