My 2021 Camaro 1LE recently saved my life. On my way to work at 2am, I was hit by a driver who fell asleep on his way home from a 12 hour shift. It should’ve been a head on collision at 65 mph, but I swerved right and he hit me right behind my door and destroyed my rear wheel. The 1LE handling and immediate response kept this from being a head on collision. Surprisingly, the damage wasn’t that bad! New wheel and tire (no suspension or frame damage) and a little body work is all! Hoping to be back on the road by late January
Glad to hear you didn’t have a head on collision. But that’s the same thing I tell people when they are worried about speed in this car. The handling, overall grip, and braking performance keeps you safer on the streets.

I have a all Black 2018 Camaro 1SS 1LE similar to this one, I've owned it for 5.5 years now. Drove it out the dealership with 3 miles on the odometer and 49,973 miles later in full stock form I'm still in LOVE with my Whip. I agree that it is the Sexiest Bad MOFO looking car I've ever laid my eyes on. I'm not claiming the fastest Camaro or car out here on the street of Los Angeles. I finally pulled the trigger and I have an appointment to get the 850HP package with LMR (Late Model Racecraft) in December 2023. I can't wait. Thinking of starting own TH-cam channel to share the experience and the results.

Great video and I agree with your 5 points! I have a 22 1SS 1LE M6 in Black and love everything about the car, my second Camaro, the first was a 1981 Z28. I'm working on the mods and my car is a weekend summer FUN toy!

Got a 2018 2SS and couldn’t agree more with everything you said bro💪🏽, coming from an ‘01 Miata I wanted a car with amazing handling, interior and overall torque. From the same price point the camero had a better bang for buck over a manual mustang and haven’t looked back since 🙌

Yes!!!! FUCK yesss dude!!!!!! Ive BEEN saying how slept on the CLASSY aspect of these cars areee man!!!!!! Its hard to explain but ive even been told "why the fuck wasnt this batmans official car in any of the movies?!” because it looks SOOOOOOOOOO fucking sick and just outright, MEAN at night when all you see are the headlight GLARING at you and let me tell you, it isnt a friendly look AT ALL.

Beautiful car great setup. I went with the regular SS, 1LE wheel package and splitter. Been doing lots of bolt on upgrades lately. Best car I have ever owned, just flat out hauls ass and even in SS form has great handling.

I'll add 2 more things one good and bad. The good is the parts availability and aftermarket support. The bad is the bar it sets when driving anything else w a manual transmission. Nothing else I have driven or built comes close.
I ordered the same car, (August 2022) it arrived October 13, 2022. ( 2 weeks before my birthday )Same exact color as yours. I've been getting mad compliments and the car is a beast!

I honestly can't lie, out off all the muscles cars to date, the SS 1E is the best looking out of all, I just like those rims 🔥🔥🔥

Had my 2020 le for 2 months, I guess some of the negatives are following (never a deal breaker by any means)
1. I swear there is a black hole between the seat and center console, I have lost so many times my wallet or keys, or even my phone, now I’ve learned to always prepare.
2. The height, I’m a sorta big guy, 6’3 240, and it’s a bit of a hassle to get out, which is minor tbh.
3. Sometimes the burping of the exhaust is awesome, to some it’s annoying. I’ve noticed that when I switched to shell nitro, it was much less present. I also understand that a tune can change the outcome.
Besides that, it’s not my daily, but I absolutely love it. The most impressive feature, which is a really hard choice, imo, is the handling. My god, I have cornered, and turned at high speeds that I would have never imagined, and the car basically drives itself while giving me the benefit of being a good driver.
You hit the nail on the head, the overall presence of the car with its appearance, it’s power, and it’s sound, is amazing. Some have compared this to a corvette, but honestly I think the le is essentially the corvette c7 grand sport with a different aesthetic.

In my opinion, best colour choice for the 2019 model because of the (otherwise pretty ugly) front end, the bow tie just belongs where it is back right now. Maybe it’ll become the searched after model year but nevertheless I like the current design the best - even more than the ZL1. Anyway, again enjoy.

Own a 17 Camaro SS and a 17 Camaro I4 turbo FBO with a Spec stage 1 clutch and aluminum flywheel...the 4 banger Camaro is likely the best handling car in the Camaro lineup.

I have a 22 Camaro SS1LE and a C5 corvette. Unfortunately my Camaro is in the shop, I stopped at bestbuys to shop really quick and when I came out it would not start. It’s been in the shop for 3 days now and they still can’t figure out the issue. In getting concerned now. Car is still new it has 5800 miles.
Not sure what’s up with your car but there is a common “slow crank” issue these cars suffer. And it’s an easy fix by adding an additional ground near the fuse box.
Love the car, i have a 2022 2ss 1le in satin steel, your front end looks a smidge high, any chance orange shipping spacers are still in front coils?

Love it, beauitful car bud. My question for you is, as someone who lives in a colder climate than Florida, would you consider dailying the 1le? I’m sure some will say no in the basis that their cars are garage queens but I’m of the belief that cars are meant to be driven. Not sure if this car would be enough for an only car even if I don’t have kids to haul around. This video has been the final push that I think is going to convince me to buy this thing.
In the snow any muscle car or RWD coupe is not going to be ideal. In the rain though the eDif does a great job and many people daily these rain or shine. I have a 22 SS 1LE and while i dont daily it, i easily could.
@@Chasethe1le yeah snow tires would be a must! A truck or suv would be an ideal daily but insurance on two vehicles is less than ideal of course

#6 the respect , attention and jealousy you get from drivers and spectators alike. Everyone has something to say about this car when I drive. Honestly Camaro is so undervalued by so many people. Styling like nothing else on the road. I just wish they made this car all wheel drive so you can drive safely during winter / rain. I drive it through entire Canadian winter everyday but you have to be very careful. Also wish the used real leather or better quality seats. This car could improve on interior quality but overall interior styling is fantastic.
This car over delivers to the point that it’s belittling. I love this car.
How much power are you putting down with your current set up if you don’t mind me asking?
No dyno yet. But the expected number is 485-500 whp on E85. That video is coming soon.

Have you timed your 0-60 time? Curious on what it is with the bolt on and e85.
I haven’t ran it. I don’t have good traction. The best I got with the car before was 4.1. But I’ve read that full bolt on is a low to mid 3 second 0-60
@Saldala Performance damn faster then a zl1 with bolt ons thats crazy.. i guess you forgot too mention how easy these are too tune and keep naturally aspirated and keep up with cars double its price tag that's insane.. 👌 👍 amazing car im sad they are getting rid of them next year stupid on chevy behalf... wish i could get one before its too late i dont want a used one i want a brand new one..

Its all preference. I think the 1LE camaro interior is worlds better than the GT and at least on par with the Charger/Challenger higher trims. Some very creditable reviewers have commented on how great the Recaros are.

As someone who owns a 18 1LE the car is extremely easy to drive. The clutch is as easy as my Civic Si, it hooks in 1st gear, idk how you would crash unless you’re just wilding
