Classic! I loved this movie when I first saw it as a 14-year-old kid at the cinema and I still love it when I'm 43. Watch it every year at least ONCE. Now I love the Godfather and all those classics but this film is just FUN action for everybody who grew up with the first Mortal Kombat games.

And the scene where he embarrased Liu Kang was just badass. We don’t gotta talk about Shang Tsung, everyone knows Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa is born to be Shang Tsung.

Personally I don't think it matters as long as the portrayal is good. Just make sure you're consistent with your outrage.
