The main problem was that they wrote a script, but the script was so bad no one wanted to come back outside of a few actors. So, with no time to get a new script and everyone leaving the project, the movie guys just promoted whoever remained, so the guy who did Principal photography became Director. So you had a bunch of inexperienced people being given the top positions, in a position where they were being rushed out to bring a film into being. The end result was this.

Everyone is complaining on how the movie was so bad BUT as a kid I enjoyed the heck out of this. Yeah it was corny but so was a ton of 90's movies at the time. I thought it was awesome to see a huge cast of my favorite characters in this movie. By far the first was much better, but I'm glad to have seen this movie in my childhood. :)
