Yep. Falco the escaped NY Central Park Zoo owl died of rat poison. People, please don't use rat poison aka rodenticides. They are killing eagles, hawks and owls who devour the poisoned rats.
I can't imagine what would make a bird happier , that's a beautiful scene. I remember when the birds were rare and needed government protection to keep from being wiped off the planet , because DDT pollution often made their egg shells to thin to survive
