I have reimagined my ranch about 6 times now in 120 game days. I recreated the portal setup and have started to switch from sending all ports into storage to sending all ports into the market. I never imagined it would be more profitable to just spam the market even if the prices are low, but it really is just way more efficient. It can take in game weeks to have the plort prices be reasonable to sell, and the silos usually overfill before then anyways. The amount of thinking this game makes you do about what largo combinations you want in which expansion is insane, ive gone to bed with headaches for the past week
This is probably the most useful video I will ever use in my life watching 1 year later and fascinated at how he put 3 sections in a 5 min video usually i have to watch videos that are 20 min long for some useless advice but this helped
@@LightShadow9 I found his the easiest. The requirement is incredibly low. Viktors is much slower. The vacuum doesn’t always do what you want it to, and you can actually lose the glitch slimes unlike the silver plorts or fruit.
I wish they made a creative mode or something like that so we could try this because im not doing this in my world it’ll take too much time but this vid was sick!!! It deserves more views tbh
i know i'm a bit late, but to all the people that want EVERY plort and chicken, i cooked something -Ranch - 8 (Tabby Rock*3; Heart Beet*3; Fire*1; Silo*1[for rare stuff]) -Lab - 5 (Pink Rad*3; Oca Oca*2) -Grotto - 5 (Chickens*4[all Variations]; Silo*1[for Chickens]) -Overgrowth - 4 (Hunter Honey*2; Mint Mango *2) -Docks - 4(+1[smol water]) (Boom Phosphor*2; Cuberry*2; Puddle*1) -Mochi - 5 (Crystal Quantum*3; Phase Lemon*2) -Ogden - 6 (Saber Mosaic*3; Silver Parsnip*3) -Viktor - 4 (Tangle Dervish*2; Prickle Pear*2) this has in mind: - quantum slimes far away - puddle and fire slimes included - also works when you only have one program per drone - pink slimes near the lab - no slimes in the grotto (difficult location for drones for some reason), chickens instead (for popping gordos and exchanges) - rarely used plorts in the hardest 2 expansions - favorite food; being easy to collect ...among other things let me know what you think of it. it's not min-maxed, but it should be pretty safe

To deal with the saber largos I take a bunch of plorts that can't be found in the wilds often, like tabby or phosphor (dervish since they're easy enough), they make Tarr then they kill each other off. "So anyways I started blasting" sorta vibes
Not sure if you get more money then this but using glutches you can get pop a gold gordo or just find a gold slime then put it on a slime stage (i have mine next to a coral in victors lab) then if you pick up the slime stage the gold slime doesnt dissapear (unless you leave or suck it up fully) so then you could put some food in a coral and push it into it and make lots of money then just put it back on the slime stage and done
Would it not be better to use only tangle/mosaic/saber/dervish since all those pliers sell for the most at their minimum price compared to other plorts?

I'm not this far into this game yet, but I love to min-max in game like these. Which setup would you recommend if I want to own at least one slime per type? I assume I need 7 different Largos in total (so one per area) and one area with puddle and fire slimes? Does it matter which Largo I plage where? (Probably yes, because some need more food?) Would this work? I would already start to do some planning while playing. (Only in my head for now. But it's never a bad idea to start min-maxing some areas soon enough). Also: Great Guide. Was looking exactly for a video like this. And incredible to see, that you are still answering comments on this video.
It's right, that we can only own 16 different slimes in our ranch, right? So 7 largos + puddle + fire. Or are there any more we can habitate? I'm didn't finished the main story. So idk if my knowledge is up-to-date.

If you want to include at least one of every slime type, this is probably the setup I'd go for: Home Base: 4 corrals (Tangle/Mosaic), 3 gardens (Silver Parsnips), 1 incinerator for Fire slimes Lab: 3 corrals (Crystal/Mosaic), 2 gardens (Silver Parsnips) Grotto: 3 corrals (Boom/Dervish), 2 gardens (Prickly Pears) Overgrowth: 2 corrals (Quantum/Honey), 2 gardens (Minty Mangos) Lagoon: 2 corrals (Pink/Dervish), 2 gardens (Prickly Pears), put Puddle slimes in the natural pond Wilds: 4 corrals (Mosaic/Sabre), 2 gardens (Silver Parsnips) Mochi: 3 corrals (Rad/Hunter), 2 gardens (Oca Ocas) Viktor: 2 corrals (Tabby/Rock), 2 gardens (Heart Beets) Note that the addition of Pink/Tabby/Rock slimes will reduce your money earned compared to the setup in the video. To lessen this impact, I've put them in zones with only two corrals. Also, you'll need to restock the incinerator every so often to keep your Fire slimes alive, so I'd pick a location that isn't too far out of the way from the loop you'll be running. Good luck!

Should I use them in the lagoon instead of the second Dervish? - And should I then swap one of the three Mosaic for one Dervish in another section to have them both two times instead of three mosaic?

I saw you had 2 other teleporters linked in the main farmhouse area of your ranch, where were those to? I can assume at least 1 was for the Glass Desert, which would help with Gilded Ginger farming. But with this strat, how often would the newbuck market take big hits on sales, since you’re pretty much doing it every day?
Good catch! I have three teleporters that aren't part of the "loop". One to the Moss Blanket (for apiaries), one to the Quarry (for drills), and one to the Glass Desert (for all extractors and gilded gingers). Between the loop and these three, all available teles are used. You'll definitely notice the market swing as you farm, with certain zones ranging from like +15,000 at low, to +30,000 or more at high for example. I never really paid attention to how often it flipped, though. Maybe every 20 runs or so?

If you didn't know you can get Wild Honey exclusively from apiaries in the Moss Blanket, Indigonium exclusively from drills in the Indigo Quarry and Deep Brine exclusively from pumps in the Dry Reef! Bear in mind that each early-game ranch expansion (The Overgrowth, the main hub/ Science Lab and the Grotto ) don't give you the resources from the area they represent (Overgrowth-Moss Blanket, Grotto-Indigo Quarry, the other stuff for the Dry Reef) probably because they're artificial areas inside a zone with the wrong conditions (The ranch could be too dry and lifeless for the bees, wrong minerals for the indigonium, no pockets of deep brine due to close proximity to the ocean??)
You don’t actually need a market link in the main area because drones won’t target it they will only target the main market so you only fully need seven market links
Extra tip: it's most efficient to go to the Moss Blanket in the Slimulation because it's misplaced fruit trees with ALL their fruit, mushrooms in your way, or glow cones in random areas. If ONE object in the MB area is off, EVERYTHING feels wrong
Little late, but yep, they can! Tip for extra meat is to program a drone in the Overgrowth to do the following command: Target:Meat Source:Free-Range Destination:Silo/Auto-Feeder
This is a great guide but what’s the point like if u have all the teleporters then u probably finish the game and if u finish the game why do u need so much money if u have like everything but anyway great job I tryed and it works so good job and u got a new sub
This was just the result of completing everything in the game, but still enjoying it too much to put it down. Saw that the drones had a lot of potential, and wanted to see how far I could take them. I made sure to mention early that this is unlikely to help with 7Zee or anything else. :P
i have another question: my food drone only fills one autofeeder and leaves the other ones untouched. so one corral is always overfed and the other ones are starving. what do i do? do i really need to put the autofeeders to like the lowest level and let them all fill up one by one? that can't be the only solution. i'm desperate for help
It's been a minute but I remember running into the same issue in the main part of my ranch - not sure if that's where you're experiencing it too. I tried a bunch of different ideas, but the only thing that seemed to make an improvement was getting rid of the corrals completely and letting the slimes free-roam (with both drones on plort duty). Even then, it was still the worst-performing area of my ranch lol. Sorry I don't have a better answer!
@@Nurlo thank you for your answer! i did some calculations, and in theory you should be good with a garden to corral ratio of 1:1. cause autofeeders spit out 12/24/48 food per day, which is enough for 3/6/12 slimes. a fully maxed out garden (including the ogden upgrade) produces 52.57 food items per day. That means as long as you have one garden per corral, all the autofeeders will be full eventually, which is perfect, cause then the drones will deliver to the other corrals as well. the only thing i'm not 100% sure yet is if one food drone (when you don't have the advanced drones yet) is fast enough to harvest and supply 4 gardens/corrals. but the Main Ranch is the only place where you could have 4/4 gardens/corrals. i know it can do 3/3. So all other areas work with basic drones as well. i'll just place my first advanced drones in the Main area and i should be good. i theorized a setup that i will build towards in my current World. i wanted every slime and chicken type, so this essentially tries to just have everything, since i still need a lot of cheap plorts for the gadgets and everything. once i have enough chickens i can just replace them with more slimes. i kinda wanna have enough of every item for the exchanges and stuff, so maybe i'll place 2 more Silos, maybe in the Main area. that would make that area a 3/3 aswell, which is nice. here it goes: -Ranch - 8 (Tabby Rock×4; Heart Beet×4) -Lab - 5 (Pink Rad×2; Oca Oca×2; Silo×1[for rare Stuff]) -Grotto - 5 (Chickens×4[all Variations]; Silo×1[for Chickens]) -Overgrowth - 4 (Hunter Honey×2; Mint Mango ×2) -Docks - 4(+1) (Boom Phosphor×2; Cuberry×2; [+Puddle×1]) -Mochi - 5 (Crystal Quantum×2; Phase Lemon×2, Fire×1) -(Ogden - 6) (Saber Mosaic×3; Silver Parsnip×3) -(Viktor - 4) (Tangle Dervish×2; Prickle Pear×2)
Not sure if one garden would be enough to keep three corrals fed, but I don't remember if I really tested that at all. Could be risky with quantum or dervish slimes.
Wait how do you redo your whole base make no money cause if your doing this you have to move your slimes around and create space so do u just save money trash all your slimes and start collecting all the necessary slimes you need
There's definitely a cost involved in getting this all set up, but I did this so late in the game that I had enough money saved for it to never be an issue. If you're trying to do this with low money at the start, I would focus on getting just one area fully complete. You'll get like $20k per day off of that, so after a couple of sleeps, you'd have more than enough to continue on with the rest of the zones.

I doubt it's an issue as long as phosphor slimes get the protection they need. Also they'd have to be next to the corresponding garden, for efficiency!
Cool, but honest question, what’s the point? I recently got to the end of the campaign, and there are still side missions and locations to unlock, but it appears to be pure grind, and I see no reason to invest the time.
Quick question but in the main area you said you had 4 silver parsnip farms but if you have a silo wouldn’t u have meant to say 3?Did u mean to say 3 or did you have a silo there for unrelated reasons and you told us 4 because the reason u have a silo may only apply to u? Also it looks like for mochis manor u have 3 corrals and in the description it says 3 as well? I’ve never been gud at explaining things so my question may not even make sense
Wow good catches! The 4 corrals / 4 gardens error is because my script was based on an older guide on my channel, but I forgot to update the fact that I moved my silo from the lab to the main area. I've updated the description to include this. And Mochi's Manor is definitely 3 corrals / 2 gardens - I misspoke lol.

@@idfk3796 i couldn't tell you without seeing it for myself but all I can say is make sure the colors are matching and that there isn't a glitch or something lol
I wasn't sure if less agitation meant slimes wouldn't eat as often, so I left them out to be safe (and wasn't having issues with slimes escaping anyway). After reading into it a bit, it doesn't seem like hunger is tied to agitation in this way, so music boxes are probably fine to include. Would be interesting to test, at least.
Dervish would be best alternative as long as they don't go hungry and ruin everything with tornados. Otherwise go Honey for safety. Or lower graphics settings as much as possible lol.
What happens is the food you put in the auto feeders gets wasted and if you have another corals that still have the food in it the drones will just keep putting all the food into that coral until it’s full and it will start to add food into the other corals so to avoid this problem when you see one of your corals with no food just add some food in and the drones will start to add food in it.

You can easily adjust this for medium game, the portals aren't needed, so you can run to each of the places even if it is slower.

This was just the result of completing everything in the game, but still enjoying it too much to put it down. Saw that the drones had a lot of potential, and wanted to see how far I could take them. I made sure to mention early that this is unlikely to help with 7Zee or anything else. :P
i have another question: my food drone only fills one autofeeder and leaves the other ones untouched. so one corral is always overfed and the other ones are starving. what do i do? do i really need to put the autofeeders to like the lowest level and let them all fill up one by one? that can't be the only solution. i'm desperate for help
It's been a minute but I remember running into the same issue in the main part of my ranch - not sure if that's where you're experiencing it too.
I tried a bunch of different ideas, but the only thing that seemed to make an improvement was getting rid of the corrals completely and letting the slimes free-roam (with both drones on plort duty). Even then, it was still the worst-performing area of my ranch lol. Sorry I don't have a better answer!

i did some calculations, and in theory you should be good with a garden to corral ratio of 1:1. cause autofeeders spit out 12/24/48 food per day, which is enough for 3/6/12 slimes. a fully maxed out garden (including the ogden upgrade) produces 52.57 food items per day. That means as long as you have one garden per corral, all the autofeeders will be full eventually, which is perfect, cause then the drones will deliver to the other corrals as well. the only thing i'm not 100% sure yet is if one food drone (when you don't have the advanced drones yet) is fast enough to harvest and supply 4 gardens/corrals. but the Main Ranch is the only place where you could have 4/4 gardens/corrals. i know it can do 3/3. So all other areas work with basic drones as well. i'll just place my first advanced drones in the Main area and i should be good.
i theorized a setup that i will build towards in my current World. i wanted every slime and chicken type, so this essentially tries to just have everything, since i still need a lot of cheap plorts for the gadgets and everything. once i have enough chickens i can just replace them with more slimes. i kinda wanna have enough of every item for the exchanges and stuff, so maybe i'll place 2 more Silos, maybe in the Main area. that would make that area a 3/3 aswell, which is nice.

Not sure if one garden would be enough to keep three corrals fed, but I don't remember if I really tested that at all. Could be risky with quantum or dervish slimes.

Wait how do you redo your whole base make no money cause if your doing this you have to move your slimes around and create space so do u just save money trash all your slimes and start collecting all the necessary slimes you need
There's definitely a cost involved in getting this all set up, but I did this so late in the game that I had enough money saved for it to never be an issue. If you're trying to do this with low money at the start, I would focus on getting just one area fully complete. You'll get like $20k per day off of that, so after a couple of sleeps, you'd have more than enough to continue on with the rest of the zones.

I doubt it's an issue as long as phosphor slimes get the protection they need. Also they'd have to be next to the corresponding garden, for efficiency!
I can't have tangled mosaic slimes because they jump too much for some reason and they always escape
There is an upgrade called air net i think and it should stop them

Quick question but in the main area you said you had 4 silver parsnip farms but if you have a silo wouldn’t u have meant to say 3?Did u mean to say 3 or did you have a silo there for unrelated reasons and you told us 4 because the reason u have a silo may only apply to u? Also it looks like for mochis manor u have 3 corrals and in the description it says 3 as well? I’ve never been gud at explaining things so my question may not even make sense
Wow good catches! The 4 corrals / 4 gardens error is because my script was based on an older guide on my channel, but I forgot to update the fact that I moved my silo from the lab to the main area. I've updated the description to include this.

I wasn't sure if less agitation meant slimes wouldn't eat as often, so I left them out to be safe (and wasn't having issues with slimes escaping anyway). After reading into it a bit, it doesn't seem like hunger is tied to agitation in this way, so music boxes are probably fine to include. Would be interesting to test, at least.

I’m having trouble with my drones they collect the food and put it in only one auto feeder and they don’t split the food even between all 4 plz help
Oh yeah that's a problem I got too in the early-mid game. After that food built up enough for everyone!
What happens is the food you put in the auto feeders gets wasted and if you have another corals that still have the food in it the drones will just keep putting all the food into that coral until it’s full and it will start to add food into the other corals so to avoid this problem when you see one of your corals with no food just add some food in and the drones will start to add food in it.
How many largos do you charge in one ?
