I remember freaking the fuck out when a heat storm suddenly happened as I approached the final area, almost gave me a heart attack. I didn't know what it was and I genuinely thought a surprise final boss was approaching as the sky turned red and the music changed from calm to inducing anxiety. But other than that, the Glass Desert is a beautiful place especialy once u sprouted all the oasis To the guy below who edited their comment: nah I watch thriller, gore and horror stuff a lot of the time and I enjoy them. But knowing that this is a cutesy wholesome game, that heat storm really caught me off guard

Damn bro I'm blown away by this. The reflexes and parkour with crates and slimes... Around 3 few years ago I watched a slime rancher speedrun and It was way different. This is extremely impressive. I'm out of the loop of the current SR speedrun strats lol.

Watching this just makes me want two things: One: Multiplayer Two: Beatrix in Smash Think about it, she could use different slimes for different moves, like a rock projectile, a crystal down special, a rad for a counter, and a phosphor, boom, or dervish for her recovery and her gimmick is that after using those moves, the slimes would just vibe and become interactable objects (with limitations of course)
Phosphor and Tabby shoes be health because think about it, Tabby slimes can steal and bring food in the actual game and the food can heal you, and phosphors do nothing but fly and look cute, And dervish slime literally summons tornadoes Which can do a lot of damage in real life 👀 Y’know happy Dervish slimes don’t exsist..
Whats hilarious and kinda frustrating for me is when i am on my main save it takes 10 years to find a gold slime but when i am speedrunning i find like 3 gold slimes
You've really perfected the slime jump route from the Pink Gordo up into the Blanket, and those drag-vacs on the Honey Slimes are so clean haha 👌🏻 impressive as always!
not an easy trick to do. I was the first one to pull it off the horizontal flying back in the day. When I mentioned it originally too the speedrun community I was told it was more like a TAS trick and these days its just done like its nothing. I have a video of me doing it actually but on a different account. "Reaching Ring island without teleporter(the better way)" all the way back in 2018
I miss this game so much, it's still one of my favorites. It's sad it doesn't have the same recognition as it had 4 years ago, even through they updated it and even added interactions with other characters and more things to do

It only takes fifty of each food type to burst any Gordo, and in Rush it takes 30. If they have a favourite, the favourite will be worth 2 points. So in casual or adventure, 25 favourites and in Rush 15.
Sorry for my ignorance, but I loved this speedrun and can't stop thinking that it's a game made inspired in source engine emulation that Valve uses, the way to play, I mean, the jumps, the grabs of cubes, fruits, and stuffs with your gun, the way you float in the air while pulling the slimes or boxes towards you to reach other parts / obstacles is exactly old motor Half Life 2 glitches you made with props and stuffs you find in the map, I dunno, I loved it!
it's the slime hops in the air for me dude that was so cool i'm so glad this got recommended bc i never knew these tecniques and that you could speedrun this game. so cool!
And this video alone is the reason i love speedrunners I’m not very good at speed running but using tiny implications or using weird game mechanics to skip massive time is why I love watching speedruns
