i need some help too, basicaly i got a x6 apollo, everything went okay but sudently my thunderbolt ports wont recognise my audio card. 1. I updated the bios and ME on asus 2. I reinstalled the uad driver 3. I did a reset on my audiocard 4. I updated my windows and thunderbolt driver Did all of them and nothing happend. I have this apollo x6 for 3 years and this is first time having this issue on my Device manager i see just UAD-2 System driver
The $100 Arturia Mini Fuse I bought for my wife's new gaming computer is far more reliable than my glitchy Apollo Twin ever was. And now it's broken, completely. Worst $800 I ever spent. Anybody looking to buy one, know you'll need to purchase another in 8 years. Know that UA's customer support in non-existent. Know that it will constantly crash and disconnect from your motherboard. Know that you will constantly have to reset it and reinstall it's software and drivers. Know what an absolute nightmare that will cause you to lose all passion for the recording arts you are signing yourself up for.

This video talks about a PCI-e card rather than an interface. At the end of the day, takes about 10 minutes to sort out but is still a pain in the butt if you don't know how to fix it. I have no regrets about using their dsp card or plugs but, of course, to each their own.
I could get a PCI-E Solo card cheaply, but I'm afraid that it won't run on my Ryzen system .. Should I go for the USB variant and save myself the problems that can arise? I would get the card for 170-200 € the interface would cost 699 € here in Germany ..
Most people don't have this problem. There are some that do. Sadly, I have no idea what makes it happen. If you can get a pcie and a good price, you should be fine.

This pretends to be an interface for professionals. Professionals have deadlines. This will cost people jobs
