This video is about a typical case, in which a difficult motorcycle, was transformed in a beautiful and proper cafe racer machine.
If you search the web, you will find that there are a lot of projects based on the yamaha XJR 1300.
But you will also notice, that this project looks very different.
It was bult by Eak, owner of K Speed Customs, located in Thailand.

Perhaps what most caught my attention is the wheels, both because they are so different from those that are normally used and the color of them. The cleaning of lines and curves of the exhaust pipes so delicate and the seat that seems to fly. Definitely the work done by K Speed Customs marks an interesting trend and we must pay close attention to the designers and builders of Thailand. I can only say that I like

Uma bela moto, o paralama dianteiro destoa do um pouco do projeto, parecendo que foi improvisado, tive a impressão que ele não estava fixado corretamente, ele tremia quando a moto estava ligada. Excelente vídeo.

Os escapes virados directamente para o travão de disco e corrente, não sei se será boa ideia em termos de segurança mas que é ali que ficam bem é... Parabéns por mais este excelente projecto e vídeo.
Curiosamente se reparar atentamente, os escapes estão direccionados um pouco para os lados, pelo que acho que não haverá problemas nesse sentido. Obrigado amigo por partilhar a já habitual sua opinião. :) Um abraço.

E com relação a essa máquina, cuja harmonia das linhas se aproxima francamente da perfeição, o que mais me restaria dizer? E depois de analisar bem as linhas da transformação, percebi porque é que é tão fácil gostar dela. Por isso mesmo, achei também que seria bom explicar todos esses detalhes no video, até porque não existe na Internet qualquer artigo escrito na sobre o projecto. Olá amigo. Que bela moto essa Yamaha! Eu também achei que o projeto passa a ideia de leveza, mas a moto me parace pronta para explodir em velocidade, como se estivesse no grid de largada de um Grand Prix. Suas linhas podem ser leves, é são, mas ela parece destinada a uma pista. É linda.

O problema, é que a página da K Speed Customs no facebook, está toda escrita na língua Tailandesa, e não dá para entender nada. Além disso , não existe nenhum artigo escrito sobre esta moto. Muitas vezes encontro motos muito bonitas, mas sem fotos e material para fazer um video. Felizmente ainda consegui arranjar fotos suficientes sobre este projecto. O resto foi só falar aquilo que achei sobre a moto. Eu sei que 2 semanas é muito tempo, mas infelizmente tem que ser assim. Espero que compreenda amigo. :) Um grande abraço.

What is it about Thailand that produces such good fabricators? Love the sound! You can hear a clack in there that almost makes it sound like a 2 cyl. Really love the sweeping exhausts, and the seat/tail section. Thanks for bringing this build to light!

Never seen a good looking XJR mod before. Mostly people just remove stuff. This one.. nice. I love the XJR engine, but as you can hear, it doesnt like revving. It is all about grunt.
I agree. A 4 cylinder engine lacks of a good grunt. :) Cheers.
See, this is where we probably have a language problem.. I like the low end torque of the XJR, thats what I tried to say. It pulls like a train even at top gear. It is not a revving engine at all.
But that said, I normally hate that people chop up XJR's. I love that bike. Thats why I ride one.
Sorry, but i understood the complete opposite of what you said, with the exception that you liked this K-Speed project. :)

The best cafe racer is a Howling four today.
Be careful with your front fender, it can cause to you an accident .. it is already ""shaking in idle"", image it in some speed. Bike looks beautiful.

Another great video. What do you think of the Yamaha XS 1100 (1980 - 85 model) for a Cafe Racer project?
I am not sure, but the older versions with a more square fuel tank and straight alloy wheels. seem to be more suitable for a good looking cafe racer project. Cheers.
I loved this channel. But all the bikes are starting to look the same. I'd want a hyosung gt 650 with a 19" front tire, bash plate, high exhaust, and a 80s~ 90s kawasaki headlight shroud. Something different! Something else!

I like this bike but it looks more like a modified naked sport bike than a Cafe Racer. One of the first times I disagree with you. Don't feel bad as I love to see all of you're vids regardless.
No problem my friend. I understand your point. This is not my style of cafe racer either. But comparing it with most Yamaha XJR1300 projects, this is definitely one of the best i have seen. If you'd like to customize a modern motorcycle to look like a cafe it's definitely impossible to get the classic proportions right, mostly because of modern suspension/frame geometry. It is almost as they fall into this weird territory between a cafe and Street fighter/naked bike. I call it cafe fighter!
Gosto muito das transformações quando o visual fica melhor que a moto original. Mas desta vez foi um SACRILÉGIO. A moto é linda na sua forma original e não ficou tão bonita depois da transformação. Abraço
