Yes, the tremendously versatile Virago. One guy even used a Virago motor in his home-built airplane! Racer, no one can reveal the secrets of a design like you do! The shot of the two bikes with the front wheel merged, the morphing photos, the demonstration of the proportions: all done very effectively.
I really have to sit and stare at both bikes for a few more days! This much eye candy is hard to swallow in one viewing. Okay, for me the blue bike just plain works beautifully!!! Thank you so much !
As always the racer tv never lets me down best bikes ever detail is amazing form boring bikes to art thanks AGAIN for showing me how things can look brilliant 👍🇬🇧
Great presentation of these two finely crafted machines. I appreciate the background on the fuel tank. These are beautiful tanks with correctly proportioned knee dents, but, what else would one expect from the Italian designers! Thank you for Racer TV, the Café Racers only choice! Have a great weekend my friend, and I hope your build is progressing as planned.
Thank you my dear friend for sharing your perspective. :) About my CX project, to be honest, i think it is going to look much better than i imagined, but the building process is much harder than i thought. I hope to ride it next Month. :) I wish you a good weekend too. Cheers.
It is difficult to say which of the two bikes I like the most, maybe the blue one because of the inverted suspension. But in both, everything seems to work visually. Maybe the colors do not appeal to me but that is a matter of personal tastes. Definitely, Thailand is a country that has to look at its designs in café racer, because it is so far, the only country with a motorcycle brand, dedicated to a mass market with cafe racer designs: the Stallion.
Olá amigo Alejandro. Yes, it seems the motorcycle market in Thailand is huge. Curiously, yesterday i heard that Stallion brand is going to sell motorcycles here in Portugal. But it seems that is not official yet. :) Thank you my friend for sharing your usual perspective. :) Saludos.
Love the red one because of the lines of exhausts and single carb. It gives a great look! On the blue one I don't really like the exhausts and the rear brake disk... Do you know what is the brand of front light optics?
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. I think the housing ring is custom made, but the headlight is probably this one in the link: www.originalcaferacer.com/product/headlight-headlamp-led-cree-x-1-light-7-cafe-racer-motorbike-bike-e-approved/ Cheers.
Hi. A question. Are these motorcycles designed to ride in rainy conditions? Because as I see them, I think they are only for driving on sunny days. Can you please get me out of doubt? Thank you.
Actually, this is one of Racer's favorite topics. Go into the Racer TV archives. There are many videos where he demonstrates how various designs use the golden ratio, either consciously or unconsciously; and in a few videos, the golden ratio is his main topic, and he explains in depth what he means. Must-see viewing for anyone planning his own project !!!
Hello !!! your work is amazing i learn lots of stuff !! BUT I HAVE A QUESTION I rarely see 2 sits cafe racer even if its not the goal i love the shape of CR i want to custom a virago 535 for 2 is it possible ? do you have known exemple ??? thank youu
Thank you my friend for your support. :) Yes, it is perfectly possible. I am building my own cafe racer(Honda CX 650), and it will have a proper cafe racer seat with a rear cowl. Cheak out this link: th-cam.com/video/A1rE5FgIUk0/w-d-xo.html Cheers.
Great video as always! The voice cracked me up when it said Mojave though. Idk if this helps but maybe look up a video: məʊˈhɑːvɪ is the pronunciation, like the Mojave Desert in California. Unless perhaps it's pronounced differently in the bike world then I don't know.
Sorry about that. To be honest, being a name from an italian fuel tank, i thought that it would be spoken as we(Portugueses) usually read. Thank you my friend for your comment. :) Cheers.
Both bikes look good indeed, but some of the details seem out of place. Having a mono shock suspension on a retro styled cafe racer seems odd. And I also find that the tires are a little too fat. Would look nicer with a set of larger wire wheels and smaller tires.
Shark Boy Shannon, can't wait to see your project bike....oh..you don't have one...so....you only talk about others job, yes like many others smart ass
Carlos Google Maps Hey, hey. I’m merely voicing out my opinions and suggestions with no intentions of bashing both builders, don’t perceive it as such.
You would think I'd be bored of saying it by now, but no, never. Yet another excellent production my friend. I think the names are a bit shit, but the bikes themselves, well, what can I say? They are so very pretty, i must say their a little unfinished for me, I like mudguards, i don't think a bikes finished with out them, maybe it's because I live in Britain, all that rain. I'm not normally one for red, although my Gix is red, and I've just bought red grafix for my 91 Genesis. I must say I love the stance of the blue one, it looks like it would handle very well, up until the point where it didn't, it's kind of similar to my stunt bike.
Thank you my friend for sharing your honest perspective. That is exactly what i like to know from the Fans of Racer TV. Because it helps me to find what most people really think. :) Cheers.
The Benelli Mojave tank is the iconic look for the Virago cafe racer created by Greg Hageman. However, at 10 litre capacity it is way too small for any practical motorcycle and is not a direct fit by any stretch of the imagination, at least not the myriad of copies out there. It does make for a nice looking bike though and these two are a great example.
The number 1 rule is, I have to love it. After that, it all depends on the originality of the project, the difficulty of the project, the model of the project's donor motorcycle, etc. :) Saludos.

The front grill seems to be custom made. But the headlight is probably a LED headlight. Try to search on google for "motorcycle LED headlight". Cheers.

I don't know why I fail in love with the blue one 💙💙💙
With no doubt i say, thailand are the most expert country in makin cafe racer.. I am your neighbour, malaysian
....no doubt!!.
Banco curto, v2, rodas grandes, monoshock. Tudo que eu adoro. Muito bom!
Obrigado amigo. Fico contente que tenha gostado. :) Um abraço.

The blue one wins the red one, and with that brand of tires ...
(Only the Portuguese understand, I'm afraid.)
Thanks for sharing mate.
Lol. I thought that the "Fuck" word was universal already. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
Good job .. so so nice
Thanks racer tv.

I hope for another Virago video, but from a Virago with 2 suspensions... Such Café Racers are really rare...
Not that anyone asked me,
but for my personal taste,
I would prefer the Blue (
While it is absolutely a matter of personal liking to be sure !
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers.
The helmet in 1:15 looks nice. Does somebody know what kind of helmet that is? It fits the retro style so well!
1.618 divine - Fibonacci sequence. Thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous!!!!! 😮
Another cool video
Mi amigo caballero Racer TV
Regards from México 🤗
Gracias amigo. :) Saludos.
Prefer the blue one..Would like wheels to be spoke ones..Cool exhaust pipes...always a great Video..😎🏍
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
Blue one 💙. Both very nice 👍
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers.
Hi. A question. Are these motorcycles designed to ride in rainy conditions? Because as I see them, I think they are only for driving on sunny days. Can you please get me out of doubt? Thank you.
What are the perfect proportion for a bike? Is there a formula?
1.618... (the golden ratio)
How do you use that number please?
Stavros Katsipodas m.th-cam.com/video/sJHD1RZ1x54/w-d-xo.html, hope this will help you😊.

You are a bit smug but I subscribe and watch for the art of building and the video quality. The bikes are extraordinary. Not a bad trade! 😂😂
Very nice. Great bike for cafe racer project
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
Obrigado amigo. Fico contente que tenha gostado. :) Um abraço.
CONGRATULATIOSN FROM BRASIL, NICE CHANNEL
Thank you. :) Um abraço.
I like the neoclassical caff styling, but I'm sure they wouldn't handle great with those tyres. Cool tho! 👍👍
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers.
inkitatus1 actually the tires look like they would be quite stable, much better than thin tires that seem to catch every crack in the road. Ride safe.
the yellow XV is the best looking one
Those Tyre brand had me rolling.... 😂

Interesting ! I prefer the blue blaster but the carb would be an issue for me ? Great work 👍🏻🏁
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
Thank you for a great video. Great bikes.
Hola RACER TV, CUALES SON LOS REQUISITOS PARA QUE MI MOTOCICLETA APAREZCA RN TU CANAL??

For a second with this voice, i thought is was a video for a new iPhone 😂
By the way, really really really beautiful cafe racer 🤘🏻
Lol. I'm glad you liked the project my friend. :) Cheers.

What is the Brand of the front light on the red ???
I think the housing ring is custom made, but the headlight is probably this one in the link:

RACER TV thanks !!
when you say the fuel tank and seat are correctly proportioned to eachother, what's the rule there?
You should take a peek to a builder called JTEC MOTO, it has very interisting proyects.
Thank you my friend for your sugestion. You are right. Most of their projects are very interesting, but not exactly what i am looking for. :) Cheers.
que tipo de llantas ocupan?
may I ask what is the type of the headlight?
The front grill seems to be custom made. But the headlight is probably a LED headlight. Try to search on google for "motorcycle LED headlight". Cheers.
So when are we gonna talk about the fact that the tires on the blue bike say "Fuckstone" hahaha
Lol. I already talked about that in one of my videos. They are replicas of the "Firestone deluxe champion". tires. :) Cheers.
what headlight is used on red?
Sorry, but i have no idea. Cheers.
Would that be Mojave as in Mohave... Mo... Have... Y...?
I didn't know this when i made this video, but the correct pronunciation is Mojave. :)
Pick of the lot ! Sir great work again ...but plz listen to me ...do some video work on small bikes ...thank you
Thank you for your sugestion. I am working about a general video with small Cafe Racers. :) Cheers.
Could someone please tell me where to find those headlights?
I think the housing ring is custom made, but the headlight is probably this one in the link:

Thank you! Love your channel by the way. Keep up the great work!
can anyone tell me what helmet is in 3:07 ?
Try to search on google for "cafe racer helmets", and i am sure you will find it. Cheers.

I am not an expert but I thought the name Mojave is pronounced the same way as the Mojave desert
These things look so ugly stock but so beautiful after customizing I want one so bad!
Computer sound just don't feel right..
Sorry to hear that, but Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because i'm Portuguese, and my bad english accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that i like for my videos. I already tried a real american voice in one of my videos, but things didn't worked as i expected. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds very good for all non english natives. Cheers.
Ahhh....Mojave is "Moh hav eh" not Mo Jave
Sorry about that. To be honest, being a name from an italian fuel tank, i
thought that it would be spoken as we(Portugueses) usually read. Thank
you my friend for your comment. :) Cheers.
It is a common error as many place names like the Mojave Desert are Indigenous names with odder pronunciations. The Mojave bit though is from the long history of dirt biking in the area. Keep up the good work ...your videos are awesome! I may be too tall and have too wrecked knees to ride one, but I do appreciate the work that goes into them.
Awesome
I can easily imagine how these fit into Thai culture in Bangkok. Nice lines, plenty of noise to create a big impression at night on the girls and in their own minds. I am sure these guys enjoy that and good luck to them, but they are a lot of work and expense for a very superficial result. Pretty much useless, but I am sure it will keep your obsession with clicks will be well fed.
Need more aggressive cams
Mono shocks and retro tires don't mix very well in my opinion. Our minds are coded too much to allow the combo to exist.
Can you imagine how fucking awful they would be to ride? It is superficial crap.
Thomas Elliott Yeh, a little bit of form over function yet still a lot of effort involved. I would ditch those tyres and put a lighter wheel on the front myself.
Nice car
I really like cafe racer but i cant afford ugh 😅
