If you are looking for inspiration to build an awesome muscle Cafe Racer, you are at the right place.
This video, is about one of the best cafe racer project i've ever seen, with a Yamaha XJR 1300.
It was built in Poland, by Grzegorz Korczak and his team from Unikat Motorworks.
    I hope you like it.
My special thanks to Pedro Torres, for his great help with my English.
Here are some interesting links about this Builder:

I own an XJR1300. This video warms my heart. I have ridden many modern bikes, but the XJR stands out for me. Power and the feeling thereof are just spot on with that machine. It really speaks to me.

I love em. I now have a gsx1400 and I love that 2 ,but nothing beats the xjr for iconic bikes...

This was quite an extensive build process Victor !
Not just adding a new set of front forks, and cut off the rear seat assembly !
This is a legitimate total building process nearly from the ground up !
I would venture to guess that nothing, was left untouched !
And, absolutely was put on a strict crash diet !
Results, a significantly lighter bike !
Changing the fork rake angle, affecting the handling characteristics !
Not to mention their choice of an understated paint scheme !
Wrapped up with undisputed Yamaha 1300 carbureted performance !
The weight to horsepower ratio should be impressive !
    Great finished piece !
    Now then,
Let's talk about your video quality !
You my friend, have put an incredible amount of time and effort into this finished product as well Sir !
My hat's off to you on a great job on the video quality as well as the bike choice !

You got 2 iconic beautiful bikes man, I’m kinda jealous.
I Sold my 2003 R1 in 2005 and after a long motorcycle hiatus, got me a 2018 Z900RS I added Driven racing clip-ons, shorter cafe model clutch cables, throttle cables and throttle cable case, blacked out bits, tail tidy and as luck would have it the 72 year old man I bought it from at under 2000 miles had it already re-flashed the ECU and put Q3 tires on it.
Nothing like my GPZs of youth, this bike is fast and as smooth as a sewing machine, kinda sounds like an old KZ when ripping on it but smooth like a Honda.
Out of all the Sake rockets I have owned this one feels most like my 1994 CBR900RR

There is something I don't like about this project. What does not stop me to see that it is something very original and true. Perhaps the displacement of the machine, which is huge? But in itself it is not a negative thing either. There are even bigger bikes. Maybe the color blue, I don't know, I just don't know what. But what I can appreciate is the degree of excellence in chassis modification that is simply superb.

That's an excellent creation!...but I would argue if you ask me about the rear section. The rear tyre is bulky enough to give it a great look from behind....but from the sideview 3:08 , it seems shorter in height compared
    to the bike's height and chassis....Still a 👍🏻 for sharing this mod🙂

I have always liked the XJ in all of its iterations. In the day it was the one chain driven bike I would have chosen other than a Ducati. In this case I actually like the look of the first one with the bikini fairing you showed over the full blown custom. Nice nonetheless.

Lool. No. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real British voice in one of my videos, and, surprisingly, almost everyone hated it. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds realy very good for to non-English natives.

Where should we draw the line on Cafe Racers. A 1300cc moto-bike just doesn't look or feel right as a Cafe Racer. Granted, this XJR looks nice, but turning it into a Cafe Racer just seems like asking an elephant to race a cheetah in a slalom course.
Cafe Racers are suppose to be lite agile machines able to racer through city traffic, bike paths, trails, and anything else to win the race from a coffee house start to a coffee house finish. There weren't rules for most part of these types of racers. Just who gets there first!
I'm glad to hear you've set up a category for these monster size bikes. They are challenging builds for sure, just not sure they should be called Cafe Racers weighing 600lbs or 550lbs.
To me, they are just long distance touring bikes that go fast.

Unikat did a fantastic job building this client bike. I give them all the credit in the world for a monster size build that the client requested. Because building custom bike for a client that dictates the requirement and perhaps a great part of the design, are the most difficult projects to achieve for a builder I believe. And this project sounded like it had a lot of oversight by the client. So kodos to Unikat on achieving such an outcome.
Now, the question that everyone must be thinking Victor. Where is Frankenstein? It must be a year now since you teased us with its introduction. Is lighting about to strike? Will he be everyone’s Favorite Christmas present this year? LOL

Lol. Curiously, I was thinking on making a video about it. I had some problems with the Front brakes and front suspension. It seems Kawasaki Used parts are not as reliable as Honda material. I am also about to change the seat foam and the fabric. The seat foam has to be softer, and the fabric darker. But these seat modifications were expected since frankenstein was finished. But I will make a video in the future explaining everything. :) Thank you for asking. :) Cheers.

@@RACER_TV Softer and darker….haaa. Now I’m so very curious on your paint scheme and accent colors. Can’t wait to see the end result as the whole world is also. Thanks for the inside news too!
As for the Kawasaki brakes and suspension parts, some Yamaha loyalists are going to wonder why you didn’t choose to upgrade those parts with Yamaha parts instead of the Kawasaki? And to not cause any kind of friction with your fan base, it would have been far safer to utilize Yamaha parts without giving up much if any performance over the Kawasaki I would think. I tell you this as a friend and fan. This might be an issue that comes up that you could avoid totally from a marketing standpoint. But you would know better then me on how all the “nah” sayer’s will jump on this bandwagon if it gets any traction.
