    Am a new fan to your vids! Tip for your future trip - it's great to go with a collapsible pail (think of it as an investment for future footbaths at home when you're sore from so much walking!). Try to secure a shaded seating area and then grab your pail and load it with water (you can take some from the upper pools if the lower ones where ppl all dip their feet in makes u feel queasy).

      We say people fully prepared with buckets - our minds we’re on food 😂 we hope you enjoy our other videos.

    GOOD SHOW!!! Think of the amount of people soaking their feet in the water making it somewhat murky as similar to people visiting Lourdes of France for their pilgrimage and bathing there. Then you'll understand better. 😉

    Hello! I do recall your earlier vlog when you visited the Sembawang hot springs just shortly after you arrived in Singapore a couple of years ago and your adventures boiling eggs 😂. My, how time has flown… you guys were fresh-faced new arrivals back then; now you are fully fledged residents with a greater feel of the island.

      Hey there kenzone. Thanks for your ongoing support! Yeah it was one of the first places we visited and strangely one of the kids favourites!

    Do check out Kent Ridge Park if you have not been there, also you can visit the war museum - Reflections at Bukit Chandu for free there. 😍😍

    Perhaps the mineral benefits are absorbed through the feet soaking in the springs 🤔
    Runny eggs definitely not for me 😮
    Great to see the kids getting involved too.
    I very much enjoyed your interview with Iliana too. 🦋

    I had not checked in in a few weeks and I totally forgot how great your intro is. Your kids are so smart and helpful, and traveling with them will only bring out more of that.
    We are checking in with our friends here to let you know about our name change and upcoming RTW drive in a solar SUV. Being anthropologists, we love to watch people have new experiences in new places, especially those who promote culture and nature. Keep up the fun and we look forward to sharing in your journey, as we hope you are enjoying ours. Thanks for the support. - Turtle and Bea

    This is a good advertisement for singapore for a non touristy place and a heartlander attraction for locals. Hope more ppl will visit this place anf hopefully nparks and Nea upgrade this place better . Perhaps an onsen spa in future, who knows

    • @WONDERLUSTworld
      @WONDERLUSTworld  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Apparently during the Japanese occupation there was some sort of onsen type spa at the location. I think it suffered from a bombing and was lost for a while.

    doesn't the dipping pool has some sort of filtration system? if it's stagnant how does it keep its hotness?

    • @WONDERLUSTworld
      @WONDERLUSTworld  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question! It must have some sort of filtration to keep it moving.

  • @methodbuzz

    Hydrogen sulfide from the springs. Just like the springs in Rotorua in NZ.

      Oh btw. Abit wrong info.
      7mins on fire is for japanese ramen egg with semi gooey yolk.
      For half boil sg egg is lesser. Maybe 5-6min.

    • @WONDERLUSTworld
      @WONDERLUSTworld  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We found that 10 mins was still soft boiled egg! I think it’s because of the temperature…

    A little niggle - the (yellow) hibiscus is the state flower of Hawaii rather than a national flower, given that Hawaii isn’t a country.
    I wanted to come by to say that the (red) hibiscus - bunga raya - is the national flower of Malaysia. But since that was already said, all I’m left with is this niggle :)

    • @WONDERLUSTworld
      @WONDERLUSTworld  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Melvin - there is actually an independent sovereign nation state of Hawaii - of which the hibiscus is the national flower.. 😉
