And this is why my daughter has NOT gotten buttons for her cat. She says he’s bossy enough, even without buttons with English words on them to make his wants crystal clear! 🤣🤣🤣
I can see why people wouldn’t use them for horses - he’d totally destroy it if he did manage to grab it 🤣 maybe we might see large reinforced ones for larger animals in the future?
Well we already knew Rudnik is smart but now we know just HoW smart - a genius boy !! He learnt that SO lightning fast truly remarkable!! Yes your idea for 4 to start sounds great - good luck this will be some ride ! 😂 Fasten your seat belt it’s going to be a great ride 😂❤😂❤ Love you & hope baby bump is well 🙏❤️
This was great, Rudnik going into a treat frenzy, my Dog is the same my 5th rescue , he came from the outback desert so is very smart. Just took a lot of slow work and time to get him to feel like he could trust me not to hurt him. Introducing him to lots of friendly and good people over the last 2yrs, to understand that I will always keep him safe, and that most people are good and won’t hurt him. But he taught himself how to open my Neighbour’s fridge and steal their meat, luckily I’m friend’s with them.
He learned that really quick!!! As soon as the word was said, he was looking for his prize! Can these buttons be attached to something? You guys could have conversations!!!!!
I do have a ‘button board’ I’ve made to fasten the buttons too. I don’t really have anywhere to mount the board though so I’d have to hold it up or lean it against something but then he’d be able to learn the pattern of where the buttons are and maybe we can teach him to form small sentences! I have a feeling though, that once he knows which ones are the treat buttons those will be the only ones he goes for 😂
That is sooo cool! I was wondering if he likes one treat more than the other. If so, it would be interesting to hold the carrot button in one hand and the apple button in the other. Then see if he learns to hit the button that rewards him with his preferred treat.
That’s what I was hoping to work towards with him (then lost the buttons in a cleaning frenzy 🥲) but once he learned each button resulted in a different treat (Apple vs carrot) then I’d be able to learn which one he really likes the most!
Oh I don’t doubt he’d pick that one up quickly. Then if I’m busy and he doesn’t get it fast enough, he’ll just repeatedly hit ‘mom’ ‘mom’ ‘mom’ ‘mom’ 🥲
💥WHAT! That is so awesome! I've got to try that with my next dog. Those buttons were not a thing when he was young, plus he was a "project" dog. To scared of everything. So Cool!💥
I’ve seen so many dogs pick it up so quickly I have no doubt yours would be talking your ears off before you know it 😂 they are very cool and quite fun to play with!
Oh my gosh this is so fun!! I bought some Fluent Pet buttons for my dogs I just need to order the batteries for them lol. This is such a great way to stimulate their minds weather it’s a dog a cat or a horse & the cool thing is that there’s research studies being done right now too with lots of the animals who use buttons as participants.🐎🖤💙
I agree! I’m not sure if he correlates the words to the specific treat or just ‘push button = get treat’ but it’s a start! Once we start adding in new buttons with new meanings it may help to connect them a bit better in his mind. I have a board I’ve done up called ‘Rudniks button board’ but I haven’t put it together yet but I’m curious to see how many buttons we could teach him!
@@rudniktheroan Every animal is different I know some started pressing buttons within days to weeks but it took others months to press one it’ll be interesting to see how Rudnik does but he’s pretty smart and super curious so that helps with teaching him.
@@rudniktheroan I'm really curious to see how the buttons work out with a horse. I've seen dogs and cats using them, but they're usually in a static location and pattern. They also step on them and I feel like that'd be a one-time conversation there with Rudnik. "Carrots" And then he'd keep stomping the pieces wanting more carrots. ;)
@@Tiewaz I do have a board I’d fasten them too, then he could begin to learn the patterns of each button. I could do a button for ‘scratch’ or whatever I can think of that’ll work for a horse to communicate 😂 I just don’t have anywhere to fasten the board to so I’d have to hold it up or lean it against something so he can just use his nose to push the buttons
@@rudniktheroan Maybe you could get a board and some large hooks or braces to hang on the...forgive me, I'm not familiar with the terminology...place you tie him when you bring him out to groom and stuff. And a brace/leg to put against the vertical poles of the grooming place so it is angled outward a bit. His lead might need a little slack so he can reach all of them eventually.
So horses can actually see blues and greens and variations of the two colours but cannot see reds or shades of red. Which is unfortunate because my other two buttons are red and orange so I’m not sure how well he’d be able to see them
Pardon me, I got that wrong - I have the orange button to represent ‘carrot’ and the green to represent ‘apple’ so my other buttons are blue and red. He’d be able to see the blue but not the red. Orange has a poor visibility but between the green and orange he’d be able to pick out the difference. I may need to look at getting a yellow button to replace the red as that colour would be easier to identify
@@rudniktheroan I’ve seen buttons used very well with dogs. But they’re placed on the floor so the dogs know their position rather than the colour. You can’t do that with a horse, unless you can fasten them on the fence. Maybe symbols would work, like crosses, stars, circles, etc. Especially if they were raised like Braille so his sensitive nose could feel the difference.
I love those ideas! And I do have a piece of wood that I’ve got to attach the buttons too. I was thinking I could hold them up or hang it up somewhere (side of the barn etc) so he can push the buttons that way without them having to be held up. Unfortunately because I board, I don’t have my own barn or anywhere to fasten it but even if I leaned it up against something he may be able to reach down and push them with his nose. It’ll be interesting to see how we can customize them to work for a horse!
And this is why my daughter has NOT gotten buttons for her cat. She says he’s bossy enough, even without buttons with English words on them to make his wants crystal clear! 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂 I can’t even imagine a cat with these
He is so very smart, he learned within minutes!! You are very lucky to have such a beautiful and intelligent animal who loves you!!! 💥💥💥
I was amazed how quickly he picked it up! And once he got going he couldn’t push them fast enough to get his reward 😂
Rudnick has found the treat gold mine! I've seen those buttons for dogs, but this is a first for a horse. It's amazing how quickly he figured it out
I can see why people wouldn’t use them for horses - he’d totally destroy it if he did manage to grab it 🤣 maybe we might see large reinforced ones for larger animals in the future?
I was surprised he didn’t try to eat them 😂 but you can actually see how he reaches his lip out to push them before going for the treats 😂
Rudnik is adorable. Watching him push those buttons was so clever. Such a clever boy. ❤
What a little piggy! I love him!
Rudnik had you and B trained within minutes! Push button, give treats! 🤣
And here I thought we were training him, he was training us all along 😂😂
So cute how fast he learned this treat talk
Such a smart boy! I think you’ve created a hilarious monster!
It’ll be interesting to see what else we can teach him with the bottoms - I may regret this 😂🥲
Rudnick experiencing immediate gratification.
He’s so smart ❤️
So much fun to watch!
You know his motivation! He must be related to me. ❤
😂😂

It’ll be interesting to see if he picks up other buttons and cues! I think he’s a smart boy so he should be able to pick it up after some time 😂
You've created a monster.......
🥲 a button-pushing-treat-gobbling monster
You have created a magnificent wonderful best friend ❣️😍
😂😂😂😂 You are so right!!!! He is one smart boy!
Oh…..I think you are correct! This should be fun to watch in the upcoming episodes! 😊😊😊
Oh Rudnik really wanted those carrots 😂 he's a quick learner eat the carrot then press the button I get said carrot smart horse 😂😂❤🐴
Way too smart for his (my) own good 😂
OMG this had Rudnik really working for it lol…so enjoyable ❤️

YES! Talking buttons are wonderful!!!
Now I know what that old expression looks like. “ He eats like a horse.” 😂
They really are bottomless pits 😂
That’s one special horse u have there young lady. 🥰
He really is something isn’t he 🥰

Rudnik you had me laughing hysterically at how fast he pushes the button😂😂😂
Soooo cute❤️
Yay my Rudnik fix❤
Impressive
Rudnick the BIG Cookie Monster!!!
This is so much fun to watch!
Awesome
I knew he was mostly human. I knew it 🤣🤣🥰
He’s too smart for his (my)own good😂
@@rudniktheroan He has such personality 🤗
He caught on quick, maybe too quick. If he gets a treat for each button push he’s going to be a blimp if he has his way.😂
Right 😂 he thought ‘faster I push the button the faster I get the treat!’
I’m crying laughing 😂
That was so funny and I can't wait for the "mom" "carrot" "apple" and looking at you expectedly!

I need a button for chocolate...and diamonds.

Wow!!! I've only seen this with a cat named Billi (rest in peace)on youtube. Looking forward to see how this progresses.

The trick will be him not being purely food motivated and using other words and not just GIMME DA TREATS
That’s why I’ll be adding more buttons with other words to mix it up for him

I 3rd the creating a monster. Can't wait to see the next button!😊
There is a guy on YT who has taught his Cow to use them too.
No way! That’s awesome! I’ve never seen a cow using them 😂

I had a good laugh watching it back - I’d forgotten how aggressive he’d started getting with them once he figured it out 😂😂
