@@caijones156 Let me, in three short paragraphs, explain to you what the real big picture looks like and how screwed most of us are because the politicians and the Unions refuse to accept the real big picture.
      1) Revision of Marx:
We are free to look at the society and aggregate all employees into one Employee and all owners into one Owner. Ownership is a claim, not effort. The Owner makes the claim, then the Employee enters to protect and grow what has been claimed as owned by the Owner. All efforts are done by the aggregated Employee, the aggregated Owner just owns, nothing else, no effort what-so-ever.
In short, The aggregated Employee invents and makes the products then sells the products to itself and then pays a fee called Profit to an 'Owner' for the permission to own the same products the aggregated Employee itself made and sold to itself.
Ownership is not effort, it is a political claim.
      2) Demolition of Smith:
On top of all that THE FREE MARKET INEVITABLY LEADS TO EXTREME CONCENTRATION OF WEALTH BECAUSE IT ALWAYS BECOMES TRAGEDY OF THE COMMONS PROBLEM DUE TO THE RELENTNESS PURSUIT OF PROFIT IN A FREE ACCESS ENVIRONMENT.
(The free market ALWAYS concentrates Wealth, because it is a battlefield and also because competition is unsustainable).
      3) The tragic, nevertheless, real big Picture:
Therefore, if the Owner does not make you poor then the free market will.
The solution is, Laws are required to ensure that most wealth and most power are in the hands of most people at all times. (The "deserving ones" should have 'much more' for some of the time, the "non-deserving ones" should have 'enough for a dignified existence' all of the time.)
However, if Wealth and power are too distributed then the society becomes vulnerable to external influence (enemies) . If Wealth and Power are too concentrated then the society becomes brittle i.e. vulnerable to internal conflicts (protests, rebellions, disobedience, etc)
It does not matter if some 'it' is private or public given that the laws ensure the citizens always have enough money, in perpetuity, to afford paying for 'the it' either trough the free market mechanism (when the "it" is privately owned) or through the taxation mechanism (when the "it" is publicly owned.
      *...*
I will give you the thinking and the rules which the new laws must implement to get the ball rolling towards the real dictatorship of the proletariat.
      1) In a general election, pay each voter a week's worth of minimum wage just for casting a vote. (Initially some people would vote just to collect the money but eventually they will start paying attention who they vote for).
      2) Introduce, independent from the government a Universal Basic Unconditional Income which is calculated using statistical data about the most common taxes, fees and spending for goods and services the individuals have. (i.e. the more spending the individuals have on taxes and for goods then the higher the UBI becomes) . The government must not be involved in deciding the amount of UBI, only the statistics on the most common taxation and spending of the people defines the amount of UBI. The exact statistical ratio that defines a "dignified existence" and calculates the amount of UBI must be a referendum-like decision independent from a government.
      3) Strict border control of Wealth leaving an economic area (a country, town, village, etc.) and people entering the economic area. (More wealth must enter an economic boundary than the wealth that leaves it, Less people must enter than the people that leave it) (it is like in business, more wealth must enter than the wealth that exits a business)
Once we implement steps 1, 2 and 3 then we must implement step 4.

@@reasonerenlightened2456 OK, I agree that the current capitalist system must fall.
      I am a market Socialist,
      but I still belive in
      - the dexomodification of land,
      - strict price control on any essential item available through market forces (food mainly)
      - Nationalise any industry or peice of infrastructure vital to the upkeep of the state.
      - Any and all private sector organisations should be Coop's with 100% ownership of the workers.
      - nationalised systems should have democratic structures in place with limited non elected positions.
      - a general UBI must be put in place
      - government must be reformed so that private citizens may call for a vote of no confidence on any of their leaders and increase the democratic values of the system through most files being open to public inspection, both direct and fediralised form of governece to ensure that those from Town Councils to national assemblies are directly responsible for leaders.
I do not disagree that this is the end goal, but bashing what protections working people have today because its not robust enough is idiotic and shows a lack of political sense. Attack those whom oppress the proletariat, not those who defend them to a limited capacity.
