Agreed I got my 2020 sport sedan with a 6 speed manual transmission for this very reason. This is my daily driver I have another weekend fun car I simply needed a practical/reliable daily 👍🏻

Great Video! Have owned various Civics over the years and never a problem. From here in Canada though the model and option mix is not always the same as in the U.S.A. which drives me nuts. The Sport model here is sold as the model ABOVE the EX, compared to the U.S. in which the sport is sold BELOW the EX? Also color selection is wider in the U.S. for some reason on some models, we either pay extra for a color that is standard in the U.S. lineup ( cosmic blue or white pearl is an additional $300 CDN.! ) , or Honda Canada does not provide certain models in all colors as available in the U.S.A. (no silver EX or Sport here in Canada) our LX is available ONLY in black or white? I want a silver EX but not available here in Canada! :( Well done video, very informative!

J, I have also Sport Plus 2018 but hatch. Great choice for any usage, nice ride. I have 182HP 1.5 Turbo. Too silent, but silence is better than non organic acoustics. Mirror self-folding does not work all the time. It rarley auto-folds. I will check with the dealer upon the first oil change, but is there something I can do wrong other then set it on in Vehicle Settings? Also, do you have wireless charging for phone? I do have, but I have no clue about supported phones. Manual does not mention, dealer has no idea ...
Power folding mirrors, I take it you’re not in the US? That is one thing I like to see more of, especially for one car garages common in condo’s. Even the Honda Fit has that option in the UK.

You got the hold bar thing wrong if it’s white you are driving to aggressive and if it’s green you are driving normal which saves you gas it’s on the owners manuel

It is the difference of about 25 HP from Sport (2.0L engine) to EX (1.5T engine). So it is not that dramatic, but it is there. The SI has considerable more HP and torque than both.....
Defiantly go with the 2.0, the 1.5 turbo are having oil dilution issues and Honda’s CVT transmissions have had issues. Not sure if they have them worked out.

Gumer - There was not a Sport trim level in 2016, 2017, or 2018... Honda Sensing is now standard instead of a $1000 price change. And these are just some of the changes.

There isn't much in the way of animal products besides the leather on the steering wheel and maybe the shift console. Everything else is pretty much soft and hard plastics.

Naturally aspirated - Some folks like the non-turbo'd engines better. Both have their positives and negatives.

Sport sedan will get you Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, however the Hatch comes with the 1.5T engine. So, it depends on your preference...
