I have the 2019 Civic EX-L myself. Almost the same as this car minus LED headlights and built in NAV. But I get NAV via Android Auto so I'm not missing out on anything. I noticed that the Touring has chrome door handles, my EX-L are painted to match the body. I like the painted handles a lot better. The chrome just seems out of place there. I really love my car. I've had it for 2 months and it's the best car I've ever owned.
Fantastic job man. Great presentation and you pretty much sold me on this car. You should be a full time youtuber if you arent already. In the meantime, ask for a raise. You'll get it.
After having my 2019 Civic Touring now for about 6 months and loving it, this is what I would wish to add to make it even better. I would like to add a driverside blind spot assist/ a hight adjustable passenger seat, not just a forward and recliner power, then install hight adjustable lumbars both side. Probably wishfull thinking.
I have a red one. Man it looks good! With a red interior custom stripe on the dash. Then I made the lighting on the screen red. Sweet sporty and functional
I got the blue trim on the dash, sport pedals and blue illuminated door sill :) I considered getting the blue interior lighting too but meh. LOL. Opted to get the aero body kit instead.
Great review. I got a chance to sit in a Civic earlier. Much more roomier than I thought it would be. Very impressive for the price. I can see why it's a popular car.
Beautiful car ! To be honest, I don´t mind the CVT, but it would be so nice to have a little bit over 200 hp. I would like more soft touch materials on the doors (including the back doors) and a other leather color options than the sole black.
The absolute best compact sedan for the years 2016-2021. Comes with everything you need: spacious cabin, trunk, heated seats front and back, turbo engine for speed and fuel efficiency, great looks inside and outside, easy and cheap maintenance at all visits.
Since I recently purchased a certified pre owned 2019 Honda Civic EX Sedan in the white, I have been watching as many videos as possible. It only has 18,400 miles when I purchased it last Sunday in January 2023. Nice car except wish the EX version came with 18 inch rims. EX has 17’s. Great video! Does the touring model have the same suspension as the EX?
My son just bought a 2019 EX as well. Personally, I think the EX was the best value. While the higher trim levels had more options, they still had a hard plastic interior and lack of sound insulation. Don't get me wrong, as I still think that it's an excellent car. However, just going overboard and adding features does not refine it into something else. To me the Touring takes things too far as far as valve for the money spent.
If you don’t need extra power and want it to last for many years get the model with the 2.0 port injected naturally aspirated motor, by far the most reliable way to get a 10th Gen civic, especially if you can find one with a manual transmission 👍🏻
@Jessica M Both the base LX model and SPORT sedan both come equipped with the 2.0 motor. I’m sure the salesman can inform you of which engine is in the vehicle. Even the brand new 11th gen Civic (2022) still offers the 2.0 engine 👍🏻
@@bretthansen8166 thank you! Okay so yeah I checked and they do. The EX 22’and touring don’t have the 2.0L, they have1.5L with turbo charge. So I guess it’s the lower trims that seem better.
I loved my 2016 Honda Civic touring but didn’t like my 2019 Honda Civic touring. For starters, everytime I went for long drives (2 hours) and pushed 80mph the low tire light always came on without hitting any potholes or anything. When I would take it into the service shop nothing was ever wrong with the tires but the light would constantly come on. I also didn’t like some of the changes to the interior layout. The only reason I upgraded was because my lease ended but because of the 2019 model I’m definitely not renewing my lease again.
The sport model doesn't have satellite radio. You mentioned free 3 months sirius xm. Other than that, really enjoyed watched the video. Learned a bit more about how the adaptive cruise control functions in stop and go traffic
I have a white 2016 Civic Touring sedan and the upgrades are nice on this 2019 although I still prefer the 17" wheel design on my '16 Honda.
