Alright here's the updated guide! If the video uploader sees this comment, please pin it so others can see this. There are 2 ways you can win this, both are listed in detail below! Option 1: Do everything shown in the video, but immediately restart if you do NOT draw the Trap Card "Cynet Conflict" on turn 3. You need that set and ready for turn 4 so you can use it as soon as the AI activates "Gouki Bearhug". This prevents the effect from killing "Accesscode Talker" and you can then win. Just keep restarting until you get lucky. You have 2 copies of "Cynet Conflict" in the forced loaner deck and you will have 34 cards before you draw for turn 3. This gives you a 2/17 chance of getting lucky. Just remember to specifically wait for "Gouki Bearhug" before activating the trap. Option 2: Do everything shown in the video, but instead of summoning "Transcode Talker", summon "Cyberverse Enchanter". When it gets destroyed on turn 2, use it's effect to special summon a "Cyberverse Wizard" in attack mode. By now the AI opponent will not finish the battle phase by attacking with the other monster because the AI opponent wants to link summon. Once you draw for turn 3 (What you draw will not be important), do everything shown in the video BUT do NOT get rid of your "Cyberverse Wizard" and make sure you SET "Cynet Crosswipe" before ending your turn. Now you can either use "Cynet Crosswipe" to sacrifice "Cyberverse Wizard" to kill "Gouki Bearhug" or take out anything the AI opponent decides to play that might be a problem. Keep "Accesscode Talker" alive and use it's effect to banish anything left on the field and attack directly to win. This option may also take some luck, though I personally won the trial on my first try using this strategy. I experimented with this video and this strategy does work.

Like Synchro Summoning is like Ritual Summoning, except you need a tuner monster instead of a ritual spell card AND you need to tribute up to the EXACT level of the Synchro monster instead of Rituals allowing you to go overboard. Xyz summoning is like fusion summoning but instead of needing specific monsters, you need monsters with a matching level. Pendulums are like if normal summoning and special summoning had a baby. And link summoning is like Ritual and fusion summoning, where instead of needing a ritual spell card to do it, you just need the correct number of monsters on the field to link summon.
Why is this tutorial so hard compared to every other one it felt like i was fighting a basement dwelling goblin who knew the ins and out to every deck in the world the amount of link sommuning this bot did is and they amount of pain it has cause could not even be comparable to any form of real life truama. This really did help me get further than before but my cpu did so many things different from yours that i got beat anyway! Great video, going to try again and pray i get luckier next time
The cpu was doing the same counter consistently, this method didn't fully work for me but on my 2nd attempt I was lucky enough to get a monster reborn.
they changed it a little bit a year after this video came out. It does help me go further too but still stuck at the end. I missed my Monster Reborn card too.

Thanks for the help! I haven’t played Yugioh in forever, so this tutorial was needlessly overwhelming. I found that you can draw Monster Reborn in this loaner deck. If you do, you can win the duel a round early by summoning Transcode Talker and using it summon Splash Mage. Sometimes the CPU will also end the duel with 1 link monster on the field, leaving you more resources to work with and less cards to destroy.
4 days later I can finally move on all thanks to your video! My brain hurts and I never want to link summon again 😅 (even though I know that won’t happen).

Thank you sooooo much! I retried more than 8 times yet I just couldn't beat this stage. Although the last step was a little different for me, it summoned 3-4 monsters there, but having the link monsters to banish and drawing a Raigeki helped
I hate these "tutorials" in which the AI makes 1000 moves per turn an keeps playing monters of 2500+ attk per turn. These are TUTORIALS, they shouldn't make you want to uninstall the game.
@@pknessbtaylor this is just pure shit, you cannot choose your own deck to play, but with a rubbish deck, and your draw had to depend on your luck, smh
I think the real point of this "training duel" is to teach you to actually read your cards, and to remember that the graveyard is a resource. After all, Accesscode Talker is the one card in your deck that simultaneously hits like a truck and can spend the contents of your graveyard to instantly pop anything that gets in its way.
Just used this video today and it worked, as a heads up to anyone that finds this around early 2025. Did not need to follow the updated instructions in the comments. Just followed the video step by step and it worked.
Out of a fit of nostalgia, I started playing this game a few days ago after not playing yugioh for probably 15 years. On my own, after I don't know how many tries, I was able to figure out how to get this opponent's LPs bellow 2000 before he could touch me but still get wrecked the next turn. Thank for this video. Edit: It took 6 more trys before the RNG worked out & it still wasn't the same as the video but we got there.👍
What really sucks about this is it's randomly generated (for you- the opponent seems to get cards that reliably counter your deck's intended win conditions) but also that you're forced to make the moves the tutorial advises, which put you in a losing position.
This is my only complaint with DM, unless you are PITCH PERFECT in solo, the CPU ALWAYS pulls some BS combo outta their ass, This and the mission prior are your first two examples of this. Thank you for the tutorial man. YuGiOh as a whole shouldnt suffer over an oversight.
Ok so I played it the exact way you played it and I lost the first time.. but the second time I played it exactly like you did and I won. So your strategy works! But it solely dependent on the draw cards
