Just read about these guys in The Guardian!! When they said 3 German guys sporting synths!! With no decks and playing classic techno I thought; they surely can't be talking about Scooter!!! How pleasantly surprised when I come here and find out that they weren't. Bloody fantastic..keep up the good work!
DANKE!
@cheamverdi I would love, anyhow and anyways, to dance in my seat in a ConcertHall listening to this ensemble. I think the "repetitive and tedious" thing, only happens to certain people, I love ALL kind of music including Ambiental and "repetitive" music such as Laraaji or Terry riley, Also Tradicional classical music and "modern"-Classical music, and I also love Electronic music and Dance music, So this ensemble is like MAGIC for me! :)
sometimes it sounds like the "sim-city" melodies ... ;) but pls dont missunderstand me - this music is big !!!! Respect ! very very nice ! i hope i c ya on stage !
@nemooo603 what do you mean? which specifically? if you mean the keyboard / synthesizer then thats a Moog Litty Phatty. awesome synth! been wanting one myself for awhile now.
geeez... it IS 'R. W. John' ! Where is the full version?! (OK, it had some simularities to the other... next time I'll read the frickin title on the video!)
@sophocha I agree that this is really just an extension of Glass and Steve Reich eg Reich's octet. I actually really admire them however by trying to do this and they do it very well. The problem (I am a composer) is that this sort of music gets very repetetive and can get tedious. Dance music probably works in clubs better than as concert hall listening music.
Who is still LISTENING?!
