You are correct. Kaga, Akagi, Soryu and Hiryu. The United States sent the 3 Yorktown class Carriers; Enterprise, Hornet and Yorktown, to a staging ground in the North East after figuring out what the Japanese Target was. One of the problems the US had was coordinating their flights, they were mostly scattered, not like the game here where they all seemed to be in one huge flight. Also, no way in hell could one dive bomber on one flight mission sink two carriers.
I have to point this out (nothings wrong with your gameplay at all); The aircraft in the mission (the SBD Dauntless) has the only sole purpose of dive bombing and not dog fighting A6M zeros that are supposed to outmaneuver them, yet however get wrecked.
So yes and no, during the Battle of Midway, no SBD's from VB-6 and VS-6 were involved in dogfights with the zero fighter cover because at the time they arrived over the fleet the fighter cover was out of place after intercepting the torpedo planes launched from Hornet, Yorktown and Enterprise. Torpedo Squadron 8 or VT-8 launched from the USS Hornet that morning arrived over the Japanese fleet without fighter cover and got destroyed, all fifteen planes were shot down for the loss of 29 men. But during the Battle of Guadalcanal yes, The Navy and Marines were short of Wildcats and some SBD squadrons flew CAP missions as fighters.
This youtuber already messed up for the plane, when you fly you need to give at least 5 to 7 feet away from another plane and you went above one and got hit by it.
@@NotGamesN3ptune America didn't really enter WWII until 1942 and their planes weren't as fast as the Japanese planes but their weapons and fuselage was superior than the Japanese planes. When they capture Japanese planes they found out they had a lot of problems and then America started to build new planes that are faster than Japanese planes and their weapons and fuselage were still superior than the Japanese planes. America also had help when the British give them their Rolls Royce Merlin Engine to help make some of their planes better.
About as realistic as a $7 bill.
All of you complaining about inaccuracies, low budget history buffs, remember it's a GAME
yeah, a game after they promised to be historically accurate

I’m pretty sure the battle of midway had 4 Japanese carriers. I may be wrong but just checking
It did
Yes it did 1 person commanded all 4 carries

Bro became a triple ace on one mission
Nice game...
Keyword, "game". The player would have "died" at least 50 times and ran out of gun ammo at least 6 times by my count. Entertaining, I suppose...
Bro has literally no aim at all
it’s ww2 so it wasn’t easy lol
Shooting a plane isn’t the same as shooting a gun, moving targets that are moving at hundreds of mph is hard
@@AmazonArrow1570 exactly
Unlike modern jets,ww2 planes do not have a lock on system which makes it 10x harder to
Bro, no one asked for your opinion and no one cares what you say
Ay man, even though you had like no aim you still did fantastic.

it should be obv for anyone, same with the Stukas. This game is terrible at every point.
Any plane is capable of dogfighting, jack ass!

This game has so many inaccuracies 😂
Vamos Jackson😂

I appreciate the visual beauty and action, but it's not even remotely accurate.
Cod waw is the best
ITS A GODDAMN GAME ITS SUPOSED TO BE INNACURATE
I also think that, that plane was only for dive bombing? And not the dog fighting?
you are correct
That's right. But it did have superior weapons and fuselage then the Japanese planes.
Is Gordon Ramsay Narrating this? 😂

what plane are they flying the corsair?
I believe they're flying the dauntless dive bombers. The corsairs weren't built until later in the war.
@@spencerhauck690 That's right and so was the HellCat. When America captured Zeros they find out it had lots of problems.
SBD dauntless
We can tell it’s not the Corsair, as the Corsair has a w shape

the game should've named the player LTC Richard Halsey "Dick" Best
or Norman Jack "Dusty" Kleiss.

Call of Duty WWII
thank you 😁
Amarica had superior planes and weapons than Japan did.
not before 1943 💀💀

how about the german?
@@dedearyapratama4232 The Germans superior plane was the Focke Wulf 190. The ME 262s had a lot of problems.
no, the zeros had little armor and 20mm guns, so it was really good in dog fights.
