MJ all dunk in slam dunk contest history
As Michael Jordan lined up for his final chance in the Slam-Dunk Championship yesterday, Atlanta's Dominique Wilkins had only one real chance to win.
    A Jordan collapse - literally.
Actually, Jordan could have stopped and hit a jumper from the foul line, instead of leaping from it for a one-handed, arm-pumping slam for which he was awarded a perfect 50 score and the championship for the second year in a row. No matter what Jordan did, there was no way he was going to lose.
    Not in Chicago.
Jordan's hometown crowd had booed lustily when the five judges had the nerve to award him a 47 on his previous dunk - a baseline cradle that he brought left to right for a two-handed stuff. That left Air Jordan three points down to 'Nique.
"It's always tough to win in someone else's hometown," said Wilkins, who would say what everybody knew and felt, that he had gotten robbed. "I don't think the judges appreciated my last dunk. That was hard. Show me five guys who can get up that high and then wind it with two hands."
With five challengers having fallen by the wayside, Wilkins and Jordan matched 50s on the first of their three final round dunks. 'Nique, going first, used a power windmill jam for his second try. Another 50. Jordan then got his 47. So Wilkins, amid the boos, swung his arms like he was using a sledgehammer. He got a 45.
"I was shocked when he got a 45, but that gave me some leeway," Jordan said, who thus needed only a 48 to tie. "I'd have given him a 49 or 50."

I remember watching MJ in the 90's and thinking how lucky I was to be alive to see him play. I even spoke to an older guy who said he saw all the greats and said there was never anyone like MJ. Jordan was to basketball what Arnold was to body building. You have to be born with certain skills . Jordan's grace in motion was just that as well as Arnold's shape that gave him those long muscles which set him apart from everyone else.
