That's why it's good to keep a spreadsheet. But I've spent less than $200 last year on monster trucks, hot wheels, matchbox, etc. Definitely not going to make any money on this hobby. Anyone thinking these cars will appreciate is fooling themselves and didn't do the math.
I love your content I have been collecting as of November of last year. I remember following your channel somewhere along the line. You are one of my favorite TH-cam content creators. Keep up the great work I always look forward to your content.
Nice video sir that’s the best pop culture set that’s came out n a long time. I average 30 to 60 dollars a week on Diecast but there awesome and Great Wall art 👍🤘🤘👊
Nice information. I’ve done the math before this video came out and was like 😮😮!! And was after being “selective” this year. But when it’s all said and done, I’m gonna pop if I find what I like and the price is right
i dont collect mainlines or premiums anymore. i spend 100+ dollars all saved up for my birthday to get the rlc i want or kaido houses. basically, i buy them in new years, because jan 1st is my birthday. collect the best by choosing the best when the year finishes and the castings for the year comes out. so, i spend LITERALLY 2 dollars per week.
For the Entertainment Series, it's not a bad set and here's my takes on those Gran Turismo Cars: 7:21 As a player of Gran Turismo Series, yep it's definitely a must have but i will not buy it on a ridiculous overrated price or i will wait for the Tarmac Works version on it and one more thing, that car was on Gran Turismo 4 not 7. 8:07 Nah it's not a Liberty Walk Car, it's just a Nismo GT3 Spec Race Car and one thing to criticize about the car, it doesn't have some logos like PUMA, ASUS, Bell Helmets, Snap-on, Michelin, Motul and especially the Gran Turismo logo on it on the roof.
4:30 Do you know the Scion FR-S was also a rebadged Toyota GT86 which was the succesor of Toyota GR86. Well if only Scion was still exist today, they might be rebadging it also.
I was spending up to $35 a purchase when premiums were fairly new releases. When premiums started being nothing but variants of other premiums and mainlines, I started sticking to new releases of mainlines. I now buy only Transport and 2 car Car Culture that appeal to me, no longer the whole sets. I'm lucky to hit over $15 a week now. Last year I spent maybe $500.
I definitely cut back in April. Made the decision to only buy/collect Hondas, Nissan and Chevys. I will definitely start tracking starting May. I also sell items to fund new items.
I must be cheap bc i spend no more than 50 bucks a month at most. It helps i only collect porsche only what infind in store and only the castings i like.
On average weekly I spend about $20 if that and that’s including rlc (if there is actually something I like on there) not lying 😂 baby first. Now previous years, we won’t talk about that lol
I don't have a lot of bills to pay. So I'm able to spend my money on mostly what I want and I don't buy anything online. So I save money that way by not buying anything online.👍And I got real super lucky Friday at dollar tree and at 2 of my local grocery stores I found the Nissan skyline GT-R BNR34 nismo monster truck treasure hunt, the Batman forever batmobile regular treasure hunt, the Ford mustang Mach E 1400 regular treasure hunt and the 1971 Chevy El Camino super treasure hunt.👍
I personally probably spend about $20.00 a week on average. I don't have to buy every release, very picky with RLCs and premiums: I hardly ever buy mainlines, most weeks I don't buy anything at all.
You really didn’t spend anything all you have to do is part with the lambo and the rest was free but also you didn’t figure in the 100 it cost you to be able to get the fox body (overdrive) or the nft purchase I believe it was 35 dollars you have to factor at least a part of that in but still you are in the black just because of the lambo whenever you can part with one car and come into positive money wasn’t a bad week I stand corrected at the end of the video you said you do sale and trade to stay in the black
I usually buy cars every 2 to 3 weeks. Last time i spent an average of 50 per week the collection got too big and 80% of the collection were cars a i didnt even like I always prefer quality over quantity Mad respect to you spending 100+

I live in Canada and our cars are 2 to 3 dollars and probably spend 500 dollars a year on just mainlines
Dude your average collector is only hunting chases so the numbers are possibly accurate. Most people are not buying full sets and all brands.
Its a addiction
Absolutely
Much safer and won't wreck you life like booze, drugs, gambling, women would.

Only time I spend a whole ton of money is when new premiums come out, can’t hold it back. But it really depends if my stores get something new.
Man that GT GTR is sweet!! I need to find all those premiums 🤘
Yea it’s a good set 👍

Ahh it is a new GTR casting!! Thanks for clarifying

Yup, sadly Scion is no more but as long as the “86” is in the name I like it 😅

I just scooped up that evo the only one I liked from the set
I thought you paid $200 for the NTF packs and got 3 redemables. Including the Lambo Super
Yeah, I have been second guessing my purchases more recently. Do I really want it and or can I make a profit from it.
I hear ya. I did my expenses for last year and I was at 4k!!! These dollars add up quick!
Yes they do…with no warning 😬

I feel the underreporting is similar to gambler’s denial. They always let you know about the big scores, but don’t realize the losses incurred.

Very cool video diecash cars
$100+. Put it on the card and then ask for forgiveness later when the wife comes at you with a fly swatter.
🤣😂😅😁

And all I collect is hot wheels I don't collect no other diecast brands. So I save money that way also.

Just add everything up right now 1600
Just wondering, did the NFT Lambo come in your pack from Mattel Creations that you bought?
Yes from series 7
@@DieCashCars lucky 🦆
It's an Evo 9. IX is Roman numeral for nine.
It's an Evo 8 and he knows the difference of the Evo 9.
@@HotWheelsMan_Philippines I really don't know if you're being serious or not. Is there an inside joke I don't know about?
