I like how you show us real world values. I look at my collection as an investment as well as a hobby for pleasure. Am currently selling Hot Wheels to fund some custom mods for my Harley. A hobby that pays you back!
Way cool, bet the Harley looks good. Yea we all should look at this hobby on all angles, being a pure collector nowadays is not practical and is too expensive
This old trope in these videos is cool and all, but I would like to maybe see a video where you actually try to sell these cars and make the profit you say you can. In my experience, either the items will sit for months or never sell, and even if they do, eBay fees will steal about 20% of the earning. Just an idea, because just saying you can isn’t the same as actually doing it.
@@PokeSteve69 I just sold a Gumball 3000 Agera R for 16.99. eBay took 2.72 off me as the transaction fee. Do the math, I end up with 82.9% of the funds I made. That's not 12.9%.
Wasn’t sure if you still did the monthly portfolios but here’s one I’m trying out. Target has had the matchbox moving parts on sale for buy one get one free and I think one of the more underrated models is the blue Ford Focus RS. I typically don’t buy multiples of models but everyone has had their fill on this car locally/they’re hanging around the pegs, so I’ve been scooping them up if I can find them at the sale of $1.29/ea, got 14 of them so far.
Thanks for sharing. Interesting results. Gassers are always a safe bet
Just picked up the Merc got that one for Father's day along with the Kool Kombi legends tour bundle. The Merc is an amazing casting!

The G case regular treasure hunt is a yellow Draggin' Wagon.
If G case came here I would buy all the Audi’s Waiting for K case as J case here from 2024 is Average.

20% in ebay fees?
@@PokeSteve69 - That’s what they are these days. 18%, plus $0.30 after insertion fees.
@@MaximusOverdrive 12.9 and 20 are vastly different.

@@MaximusOverdrive lol you had a promoted listing than. That’s not how eBay works bud. Everything is written in black and white.

Dollar store hookup too?
Hot wheel collecting for investing is ABSOLUTE garbage!!!! Pay 30% to sell on any platform and there is 0 profit.
