Throwing it out there: Run Collective Action on this thing. On Stasis (especially Behemoth) you make shards like crazy, so you have a pretty much permanent damage buff alongside Headstone. It's so good
I’ve been running headstone/CA as an osmiomancy warlock and its still great. Using grim harvest and the fragment that makes shards attract to you allows CA to be active basically for as long as you’re in combat
THIS. This is the first weapon that Collective Action ever made sense for to me. Shards are so easy to make on Stasis, like you said, you pretty much have a permanent 20% buff.
For sure. Desperate measures requires kills, yeah it's 30% Vs 20% but you can proc collective action easier. Golden tricorn isn't bad but I feel there's too many hoope to go through for you to consistently proc the 50%.

The park is also on legendary khovostov. I was using khovostov, still hunt and heavy of choice. Even Gets your super back in between small damage phases like warlords ruin final boss.

I tested out demolitionist myself. It is NOT 10% per kill as bungie changed its benefits to be tied to your grenade cooldown many months ago. So D2 Foundry numbers are not accurate anymore. In my testing it took anywhere from 15-20 kills when running glacier grenades which has a 2 minute cooldown while I was running 9 Discipline. For Duskfield its cooldown is 1.5 minutes and it took around 11 to 12 kills to fully fill my grenade also running 9 discipline. This was by no means extensive testing but it was me running through lost sectors multiple times reviewing footage and counting kills after using my grenade. Just wanted to share this info for anyone that wasn't aware.
This is actually due to thr recent changes around the ability regen mods/aspects and fragments that was implemented in Season of the Wish (I think). Essentially, any ability regen effect has been modified to work not off a flat percentage but off the base cold down of the ability. (I could be describing this a bit wrong so hopefully someone will correct me). So something like a Thermit grenade gets ability back from Demo kills at around 9 because it's a low base colddown ability but something like a Solar grenade requires 12~13 kills. System has killed a lot of Kickstart builds and it's been a problem that people are complaining about.
I've been using a demo roll on breachlight with grapple on prismatic, it's maybe 6 to 7 kills, 8 tops, to ge try grapple back, and thats with discipline anywhere from 60 to 90. Just was doing warlords last night, I had grapple constantly, so much I didn't know what to do with it lol. I'll test it out with a different melee when I'm off work but i believe it's working as intended on my end
@austinlizarraga4165 yeah it's great on grapple melee since its cooldown is one of the fastest available at 1 minute and 22 seconds. Def great for strand builds.
For people looking for a Headstone weapon that can break the crystal as it appears, look out for Psi Hermetic. The telesto bolts that spawn from targets killed will break stasis crystals.
Note: You might need to run a stasis subclass though. I don't remember if the telesto bolts did enough damage to the crystal to shatter it unless you use the fragment that allows you to do more damage to crystals (which the telesto bolt will also get).
I think Bungie knew that Dragonfly not breaking the Headstone was going to be a huge disappointment which is why they gave us Creeping Chill in the artifact. Creeping Chill either needs to be intrinsic on Bold Endings (better than nothing) or swap out Dragonfly with Timed Payload so we can shatter the crystal
I’m in love with this gun on my Hunter. Between this and the new Rapid Frame Stasis Auto from the seasonal activity these two guns are staying on my characters for a while.
That air trigger reload buff is absolutely enormous, wtf. For perspective, d2foundry says that going from the base (26) to max (100) reload takes the reload from 3.02s to 1.83s. The video tested an air trigger reload as taking 1.15s. In PvE that much reload speed for the occasional bunny hop is pretty compelling IMO. It's way nicer than field prep which requires you to crouch or slide into a reload.
Yep. It seems like it's giving max reload (or a TON) on top of a Scalar. It's basically a free Outlaw you can proc anytime you reload mid-air. It's easily the most slept on reload speed perk because everyone will read it as an aerial duel PvP perk.
The real mvp 2 burst hand cannon is Maahes with rapid hit and frenzy. Works awesome with lucky pants and a bait and switch edge transit. Outbreak or khvostov in kinetic.

wow cross, didnt even mention collective action... with stasis titan fragments and headstone its all the crystals with headstone leading to constant shards, which leads to almost a 100% uptime 20% dmg buff on top of headstone damage and aoe. slept on...
@@viincanity Judgment isn’t a bad option either. You can get Headstone + Adrenaline Junkie which works fine since you can stack the damage to 33.3% if you have enough ads to sustain, but I think Bold Endings with Headstone + Collective Action is better for consistency overall even if it’s only 20%. Edit: Plus, Bold Endings is craftable too so it’s very easy for most folks to get. If anything, I’m kinda pissed that I farmed Judgment and got a great roll, and then another Stasis hand cannon comes out basically right after, is craftable, and has great perks.
So many of these weapons I Think have different rolls depending on the class/set-up. I know I'm crafting one of these specifically for hoarfrost Titan and putting strategist and collective action on it.
Thats the compromise for having Prismatic. I think it's intended, so we don't have every buff in the game for so long. Strength of prismatic is that we can get the buffs, but the balance is that it doesn't last as long, compared to going into specializing into a pure subclass and having less buffs, but the ones we do have last longer
@OscarASevilla it just feels really bad using stasis parts of the prismatic kit. On hunter anyway. I've been racking my brain for something fancier than still hunt spam or dodge punch dodge punch.

Fyi, the only weapon that can currently self proc headstone without having to do anything is psi hermetic with the wild card origin perk. As the stasis crystal will cause the telesto bolts to explode immediately. That thing with enlightened action is worth keeping, this hand cannon, less so
In the video prior to TFS’s release you made on the weapons, I did say I’m holding back being excited for the Headstone Dragonfly roll due to either: 1: Dragonfly wouldn’t immediately pop the crystals on its own or 2: Dragonfly would go before the crystals are made. Don’t like to say I told you do but… Yea. Having used Severance Enclosure a lot before TFS and seeing THAT not break them was a tell.
I know people hate how Dragonfly doesn’t pop the Headstone crystal BUT destroying the crystal and getting a kill while you have Desperate Measures x1 will instantly get you to x3 since the game counts it as an ability kill. I don’t know if that is a bug but I now did a fact it works. I don’t know if it works with Golden Tricorn. I don’t have it crafted yet so I can’t test it. I’m also wondering if you need something stasis on Prismatic to make it work just like how you can get Amplified with Arc weapon kills as long as you have something Arc on your subclass. Try it out. It’s very easy to get the 30% damage buff and keep it up. Very nice synergy

Do you think that you could look at Pro Memoria next it seems like its dps is gonna be a great contender for one of the best dps machine guns and no one has really been testing it. And if you do end up testing it would u try both rolls of envious and target lock for boss dps and reconstruction and bait. Personally, I believe the envious and target lock to be better for dps than the other roll, but everyone seems way to focus on the basic combo of reconstruction and bait because its good on everything else, but I can't see it being as good as target lock on a machine gun.
Fun Fact: 2-round Burst Hand Cannons need exactly 26 rounds to take full advantage of the Lucky Pants buff. Lucky Pants buff lasts for 5.5s and within that time frame you can fire 26 rounds on a Heavy Burst HC. All three Heavy Burst HCs in the game as of now can achieve this by running Appended Mag + Backup Mag mod. Additionally, 180 RPM HCs can fire exactly 18 rounds within the 5.5s Lucky Pants buff. This can also be achieved by using Appended Mag + Backup Mag mod, with some 180 HCs capable of achieving this by using Tactical Mag + Backup Mag mod (ex. Sightline Survey).
Headstone+dragonfly gives you 2-3 aoe explosions. Not at once but back to back. You'll proc dragonfly and headstone( 1st aoe) shoot crystal or frozen target( 2nd aoe) then optionally break crystal(3rd aoe) same mag. Kinda nuts for ad clear.
It’s crazy because I didn’t expect the headstone to proc before the dragonfly. So i enjoy the perks. Because it leaves the crystals around which then allows for shatter damage to other enemies
Aztecross what about strategist with collective action? Running strategist to get your barricade back to spawn more stasis walls with spirit of the hoarfrost paired with spirit of scars or spirit of alpha Lupi to get healing for you and your allies. All of that paired with elemental siphon from the artifact to help get that damage increase from collective action even easier. There will always be a stasis shard to pick up for that easy 20% increase of damage you’ll get from collective action
Air Trigger affects your whole loadout btw. Well last time I checked. This could be good for dps phases if you want to just one heavy and get a quick burst dps phase out then run double air trigger and swap to something else after dps.
i use this exclusively on hunter with headstone and desperate measures roll (will switch to golden when they fix it) non-stop invis and works nice with fragments + shurikens + lucky pants.
headstone dragonfly is still the best. The dragonfly does not shatter the crystals, but that might be good for builds that rely on crystals to stay up, like Whisper of chains. Also, if you kill other enemies with headshots in the area, their dragonfly explosions will destroy previously created crystals, so for a group of enemies its effectively the same thing.
The dragonfly explosion doesnt pop the crystal, but it does pop the nearby frozen enemies, so it works well with the seasonal mod to essentially act like a stasis incandescent. It also works well with Warlock with Chromatic Fire.
Something weird I’ve found is that when you have desperate measures X3, you can destroy the headstone crystal in one burst on non stasis subclasses, but it’s really inconsistent. Not sure why.
I still run headstone and dragonfly. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s not good. I tried to run headstone with another perk and it just feels so much better with dragonfly. So what it doesn’t shatter the crystal on the first kill. Every subsequent kill will have a crystal to shatter if you’re hitting your headshots and it is awesome.
What about collective action, with the stasis shards and the fragment that makes them track to you and give you frost armor. So one crystal gives you damage, armor and creates from headstone
have you tried the stasis fragments where your primary weapons do increased damage to stasis crystals? dragonfly will count as primary dmg so it might destroy the crystal
It’s pretty good very good perks on it. If it wasn’t in the primary spot I would def use it more. Lots of good weapons this season only problem is where they are at tbh. This season has so many good weapons hard to pick between them all
ehroar also did a video about air trigger itself and found out that its benefits to reload speed apply to your other equipped weapons. BUT its drawbacks to aim assist do as well.. not sure yet if this is intentional or not
i think dragonfly headstone isnt working because the stasis crystal spawns too slowly for dragonfly to crack it. it does shatter existing crystals though.
People forget if you have a stasis crystal already formed and you kill another enemy with a headshot firefly will burst that states crystal and create a new one for you so although it might not bust the original spaces crystal if there is more than one enemy it is still a very good combination
So conditional Finality counts for the "with more weapons equipped" perk that the RoN weapons have. Do the Pale Heart Exotics count for Dealer's Choice as well?
2 pale weapons with mantle of battle harmony on the lock is crazy strong. I get like 10 to 15% of my super on a kill. I can get my super in like 20 to 30 sec if there’s enough enemies.
i know i've seen issues with the stasis crystal shattering so i hope it will change when they fix these issues that Bungie stated in the forums fingers crossed :D • Diamond Lance does not shatter Stasis crystals. • Consecration's slam attack doesn't shatter Stasis Crystals.
i really hope the titan changes make titan not just so meh like diamond lance for me i rarely use them so they jsut exists heres and idea once a dropped lance expires it creates a stasis land mine once trigger it spawns a stasis pillar on top and has a burst of slow
dragonfly cant break the headstone crystal from the same kill, but can shatter it on another kill, ie you kill one ad to make the crystal, then if youre in high enough level content that the dragonfly explosion (plus origin explosion if youre using the artifact mod) doesnt kill everything around it outright, you just switch targets rather than shoot the crystal and the next dragonfly proc should break the previous crystal for triple headshot kabloomies; this thing goes crazy with still hunt nighthawk build too
The dragonfly thing was more than a little disappointing, though I did find myself enjoying Demo+Strategist as a “I don’t feel like running out of my abilities today” roll, and Demo helps get around the trash reload stat as well.
Not sure if this is a hot take, but they need to get rid of "target acquisition" at least in PVP. I understand aim assist on console, but PC? So honestly I like air trigger because I don't want to rely on the game aiming for me.
with stasis, using the fragment that lets primary ammo guns shatter crystals 1 shot, you can shatter the crystal in the same burst at times while also proccing the artifact firefly effect AND dragonfly which opens up enemies around for a headshot to continue the chain. it's nasty
The bloom kills this thing for me, even with longer range I still can’t accurately hit shots past 30 or so meters. The bursts build up so my inaccuracy that I might as well be shooting blanks.
Did they nerf lucky pants? I was using Warden on the Witness with LP and it just wasn't getting a damage buff despite the buff being active on the bottom left. Does bold endings work with LP on bosses or?
Not gonna call it a godroll but I absolutely love Rapid Hit + Dragonfly. Makes the reload speed much more manageable and doesn’t require a kill. Dragonfly is just nice for the extra splash damage, the stasis visual effects are just a nice added bonus
Try Air Trigger. Seriously. I crafted a roll with every 3rd column perk to see what I liked and despite assuming Air Trigger would be the worst, I ended up enhancing it immediately after using it. Just like how people like Slideways/Slideshot to reload while sliding, Air Trigger is basically the same but when reload in air. It's also just as fast, if not faster than Rapid Hit while Rapid Hit gives you some of that stability.
Few people talking about the trait (or whatever its called) dealers' choice giving super energy. Meanwhile, it's currently bugged, giving stupid amounts of super energy, lol
I’m pissed off that we still don’t have a good 2-burst HC in the energy slot. Maahes HC4 doesn’t have any good damage perks like kill clip. I just straight up want Warden’s Law in that slot.
Are you taking about pve or PvP? Because it has frenzy, golden tricorn, desperate measures and swashbuckler. All of which are better than kill clip in pve
@@XxHUNT3RN4T0RxX I would still give it a go. It’s an omolon weapon meaning it intrinsically has a ton of stability. Swashbuckler or golden tricorn work well for kill chaining as well.

Getting supers in 20seconds from Bold Endings and Celestial intrinsic. Super useful in dungeons and the Raids.

This weapon with stasis Titan using diamond lance aspect and the Cadmus helmet, is a ad control MONSTER. Headstone and dragon fly is incredible

Getaway artist warlocks can utilize loose change easily and have it up 100% with bleakwatcher. Loose change and demo is the play.
Headstone Dragonfly is still going to be the first roll I try for - double AOE perks on primaries always feel so nice

It does work great on Behemoth, it's just one of those perks people overlook because it needs some setup

I feel like we're missing a fragment in prismatic where it improves subclass verb interactions. For example, longer slows, more scorch, etc

I don’t know if that is a bug but I now did a fact it works. I don’t know if it works with Golden Tricorn. I don’t have it crafted yet so I can’t test it. I’m also wondering if you need something stasis on Prismatic to make it work just like how you can get Amplified with Arc weapon kills as long as you have something Arc on your subclass.
Try it out. It’s very easy to get the 30% damage buff and keep it up. Very nice synergy

Do you think that you could look at Pro Memoria next it seems like its dps is gonna be a great contender for one of the best dps machine guns and no one has really been testing it. And if you do end up testing it would u try both rolls of envious and target lock for boss dps and reconstruction and bait. Personally, I believe the envious and target lock to be better for dps than the other roll, but everyone seems way to focus on the basic combo of reconstruction and bait because its good on everything else, but I can't see it being as good as target lock on a machine gun.
For this season, im loving the headstone dragonfly roll. That mixed with the artifact mod pretty much giving dragonfly feels so good at clearing rooms
Fun Fact: 2-round Burst Hand Cannons need exactly 26 rounds to take full advantage of the Lucky Pants buff. Lucky Pants buff lasts for 5.5s and within that time frame you can fire 26 rounds on a Heavy Burst HC. All three Heavy Burst HCs in the game as of now can achieve this by running Appended Mag + Backup Mag mod.
Additionally, 180 RPM HCs can fire exactly 18 rounds within the 5.5s Lucky Pants buff. This can also be achieved by using Appended Mag + Backup Mag mod, with some 180 HCs capable of achieving this by using Tactical Mag + Backup Mag mod (ex. Sightline Survey).
I haven't tried it this update but last week but bold ending wasn't working with lucky pants.
Headstone+dragonfly gives you 2-3 aoe explosions. Not at once but back to back. You'll proc dragonfly and headstone( 1st aoe) shoot crystal or frozen target( 2nd aoe) then optionally break crystal(3rd aoe) same mag. Kinda nuts for ad clear.

It’s crazy because I didn’t expect the headstone to proc before the dragonfly. So i enjoy the perks. Because it leaves the crystals around which then allows for shatter damage to other enemies
Aztecross what about strategist with collective action? Running strategist to get your barricade back to spawn more stasis walls with spirit of the hoarfrost paired with spirit of scars or spirit of alpha Lupi to get healing for you and your allies. All of that paired with elemental siphon from the artifact to help get that damage increase from collective action even easier. There will always be a stasis shard to pick up for that easy 20% increase of damage you’ll get from collective action
Air Trigger affects your whole loadout btw. Well last time I checked. This could be good for dps phases if you want to just one heavy and get a quick burst dps phase out then run double air trigger and swap to something else after dps.
i use this exclusively on hunter with headstone and desperate measures roll (will switch to golden when they fix it) non-stop invis and works nice with fragments + shurikens + lucky pants.
headstone dragonfly is still the best. The dragonfly does not shatter the crystals, but that might be good for builds that rely on crystals to stay up, like Whisper of chains. Also, if you kill other enemies with headshots in the area, their dragonfly explosions will destroy previously created crystals, so for a group of enemies its effectively the same thing.
does the artifact explosion synergize with dragonfly or headstone ?
Playing with it, I'm still enjoying using Headstone/Dragonfly. It feels good to use imo, even if it's not as OP as I'd like lol
The dragonfly explosion doesnt pop the crystal, but it does pop the nearby frozen enemies, so it works well with the seasonal mod to essentially act like a stasis incandescent.
It also works well with Warlock with Chromatic Fire.

Something weird I’ve found is that when you have desperate measures X3, you can destroy the headstone crystal in one burst on non stasis subclasses, but it’s really inconsistent. Not sure why.

I still run headstone and dragonfly. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s not good. I tried to run headstone with another perk and it just feels so much better with dragonfly. So what it doesn’t shatter the crystal on the first kill. Every subsequent kill will have a crystal to shatter if you’re hitting your headshots and it is awesome.
headstone and firefly is my personal favorite. might try other perks with headstone since i have the crafting pattern.
What about collective action, with the stasis shards and the fragment that makes them track to you and give you frost armor. So one crystal gives you damage, armor and creates from headstone

have you tried the stasis fragments where your primary weapons do increased damage to stasis crystals? dragonfly will count as primary dmg so it might destroy the crystal
It’s pretty good very good perks on it. If it wasn’t in the primary spot I would def use it more. Lots of good weapons this season only problem is where they are at tbh. This season has so many good weapons hard to pick between them all
ehroar also did a video about air trigger itself and found out that its benefits to reload speed apply to your other equipped weapons. BUT its drawbacks to aim assist do as well.. not sure yet if this is intentional or not
i think dragonfly headstone isnt working because the stasis crystal spawns too slowly for dragonfly to crack it. it does shatter existing crystals though.
People forget if you have a stasis crystal already formed and you kill another enemy with a headshot firefly will burst that states crystal and create a new one for you so although it might not bust the original spaces crystal if there is more than one enemy it is still a very good combination

2 pale weapons with mantle of battle harmony on the lock is crazy strong. I get like 10 to 15% of my super on a kill. I can get my super in like 20 to 30 sec if there’s enough enemies.
What if Headstone and Collective Action? On a Behemoth your Crystal Shatters make shards which keeps Collective going.
i know i've seen issues with the stasis crystal shattering so i hope it will change when they fix these issues that Bungie stated in the forums fingers crossed :D
• Diamond Lance does not shatter Stasis crystals.

The new omolon 2 burst is the best one to use in pvp especially on void hunter with gerfalcon and void charges

dragonfly cant break the headstone crystal from the same kill, but can shatter it on another kill, ie you kill one ad to make the crystal, then if youre in high enough level content that the dragonfly explosion (plus origin explosion if youre using the artifact mod) doesnt kill everything around it outright, you just switch targets rather than shoot the crystal and the next dragonfly proc should break the previous crystal for triple headshot kabloomies; this thing goes crazy with still hunt nighthawk build too

There's an artifact perk that will make this weapon firefly. So.... Dragonfly + Firefly explosions then a headstone. 3 times boomies

The dragonfly thing was more than a little disappointing, though I did find myself enjoying Demo+Strategist as a “I don’t feel like running out of my abilities today” roll, and Demo helps get around the trash reload stat as well.
Not sure if this is a hot take, but they need to get rid of "target acquisition" at least in PVP. I understand aim assist on console, but PC? So honestly I like air trigger because I don't want to rely on the game aiming for me.
If only Stasis crystal explosions could proc Desperate Measures; gun feels so good and that interaction would be great
hopefully bungie can fix the effect procs on burst weapons, it would make all pulse rifles and these handcannons much more fun and reliable.
with stasis, using the fragment that lets primary ammo guns shatter crystals 1 shot, you can shatter the crystal in the same burst at times while also proccing the artifact firefly effect AND dragonfly which opens up enemies around for a headshot to continue the chain. it's nasty
The bloom kills this thing for me, even with longer range I still can’t accurately hit shots past 30 or so meters. The bursts build up so my inaccuracy that I might as well be shooting blanks.
The only thing I use Air Trigger for is the reload. You just hop in the air and you get max reload speed

Did they nerf lucky pants? I was using Warden on the Witness with LP and it just wasn't getting a damage buff despite the buff being active on the bottom left.
Does bold endings work with LP on bosses or?
think of it less like Wardens Law, and more like a PvE Eyasluna roll that can double proc certain interactions
Not gonna call it a godroll but I absolutely love Rapid Hit + Dragonfly. Makes the reload speed much more manageable and doesn’t require a kill. Dragonfly is just nice for the extra splash damage, the stasis visual effects are just a nice added bonus
Try Air Trigger. Seriously. I crafted a roll with every 3rd column perk to see what I liked and despite assuming Air Trigger would be the worst, I ended up enhancing it immediately after using it. Just like how people like Slideways/Slideshot to reload while sliding, Air Trigger is basically the same but when reload in air.
It's also just as fast, if not faster than Rapid Hit while Rapid Hit gives you some of that stability.

Went with rapid and tricorn. To me its a great weapon. Ive never been a fan of headstone or any gimic perks. Not that theyre bad just not for me.
They should make a stasis perk that does basically what our artifact perk does, 50 stacks of slow per aoe, freezing with 2 kills

I’m pissed off that we still don’t have a good 2-burst HC in the energy slot. Maahes HC4 doesn’t have any good damage perks like kill clip. I just straight up want Warden’s Law in that slot.

Are you taking about pve or PvP? Because it has frenzy, golden tricorn, desperate measures and swashbuckler. All of which are better than kill clip in pve

@@XxHUNT3RN4T0RxX I would still give it a go. It’s an omolon weapon meaning it intrinsically has a ton of stability. Swashbuckler or golden tricorn work well for kill chaining as well.
Try gunshot with headseeker on Aisha's care. It's pretty fun
