I'm still using that Falcon Jason Christie signature 6'10 medium heavy squarebill / spinner bait rod for chatter baits. One of the most versatile rods I own. Badass rod for boy howdy's also. Nice work on the vids !
Thanks Jason. Still like your no nonsense approach to fishing. When I am looking for extra action on my chatterbait I use a speed worm as trailer. That seems to get a reaction bite when the bass are not killing it. Thin trailers allow better kick outs on chatterbaits than most trailers.
Interesting on how certain people. Say gotta use. Jackhammer. Gotta use this brand that brand. And your getting them on a boo ya It’s about know the when’s and where’s And adjusting.
Most don't fish a bait long enough to get confidence in the bait. Quality or Quantity will also determine your confidence on how long you will fish a bait.
Just watched your interview on mercer and I have subbed into both of you guys now. I've already got probably about a dozen of your covert spinnerbaits. It looks like the melee has a couple of those metal hooks on the hook shank to hold secure your plastic trailer, is that correct?
The biggest reason I don't watch "professional fisherman" is the amount of electronics is ridiculous. Livescope and all that bullshit should be banned from tournament fishing .
Jason has the best videos. Tells you when , where, sizes and colors . Everything you need to know. Thank you for taking the time to educate us all.
That Christie Craw is one hell of a swim jig trailer. Bladed jig puts the ol' full court press on the big girls. Good luck at the Classic!
I really like the format of the videos on this channel and info is edited on the screen etc.

Jason great video. What determins the blade color for you? Nickle, Brass or colored blades.
I hear the canal is the best place for a drop shot and Damiki 26 lbs won our tourment on tellico out of the damn area
So dark color in dirty water or dark day? You would think it was the other way around
Repeat Classic winner?

Great content Jason ,when you were poping the rod were you imparting action or shaking off grass ?
Popping it loose from the grass

What do you mean by throwing slack in it?
Fish eats the bait and creates slack in the line
All i ever catch with those chatter baits are tree pounders
😂
Where is he fishing at here?
Florida
@Christiefishing Headwaters? I’m heading down there this evening.
Do you ever take a shotgun with ya? Spring Turkey hunts on days off?
