Thank you as always. I find your descriptions and demonstrations very helpful. No need to apologise for the sound of rain! In Perth (Western Australia) we are finally in cooler weather. Our summer has been long, hot and the few promises of rain since late October have largely passed us by. My garden is bare dirt now instead of vegetables. The grapevine and Mulberry trees have remained productive, with very deep roots, but all the annuals have died. Rain is music to my ears, and even though it is on the other side of the world, it is a joy to hear it.
Thank you for this!!! I only watched the first Torchon edge for now (to avoid confusing myself with the other two). I thought I’d been following the instructions on the pattern correctly, but my footside was not looking right. Now I realise what I was doing wrong. Thank you!
Can I check. for the Bedfordshire edge, is it treat the pairs as single bobbins on the way in but as pairs on the way out, or as type the as singles on both in and out?
Taking two pairs into cloth, (from plait in this case but also when working a leaf tally) they are treated as one pair, and coming out of the cloth as normal, 2 pairs.

I did stop filming for a few minutes after I said that as it got heavier and thought it would be too loud on the conservatory roof!

Glad it was helpful!
This was very useful. Thanks Louise😁
I've been trying to find a good way to do my own Torchon footside to look similar. Thank you for the proper way of doing this.
Happy to help.
Very good to be able to see different styles. It could be nice to se even more styles.
