- 2014 Dodge Charger Pursuit gets an upgrade from the standard 4.3” touchscreen to the 8.4” touchscreen SRT infotainment system along with a Hydro Dipped Carbon Fiber Speedometer Bezel.

Hey brother I’m trying to install a Bluetooth module for my 2012 charger pursuit after I did a screen swap to the 8.4 and I am missing a small usb plug in thing if you have any help I’d really appreciate it ( I know I’m really late anything helps.)
Edit ( I am missing the grey usb cable from the wiring harness idk where it is.

Hey man, did you cut the bezel in order to make it fit the column shifter?
I did. Only had to take a little piece out for it to sit snug. Sit the bezel over the top of where it is gonna sit and should be about a half inch to an inch if that. Used an angle grinder to to cut and smooth.
What yr is the 8.4 your connect? I see a lot of 2011-2014 for sale. I’m wondering if a 2015 + will work in my 2012?
It is from a 2012 SRT and no the 2015+ will not work and are not compatible with a 2011-2014 Uconnect setup.
Did you need the security code from the radio tramitter or the screen
The radio itself not the screen. It was provided by the seller.
Where you get your part and bezel as I just got a pursuit and would like to do this conversation and see if I can’t get the tazor added performance pages

Did you have to get an u lock code for the radio?
@@ismaelbahena5341 Mine came provided by the company I bought it from. However, if yours isn’t provided with one then yes, you will have to get the unlock code from a Dodge Dealership using the vin and radio receiver S/N
do you think i could also swap the gauge cluster to a newer one with this dash bezel?
You can. I don’t remember the process anymore but I have seen it done.
Hey another question did u have to flash your car for the climate control?
No i didn’t only issue I had with mine was it wouldn’t display the actual temperature but worked good otherwise.

@@skiiilol You could but again doesn’t show a temperature, that’s why for me it was better to use touchscreen cause at least I knew where I wanted it.

What parts were really needed cuz I’m going to switch to the original navigation as well
If you have factory navigation than all you need is the screen and radio receiver. If you don’t than you’ll need the antenna and navigation radio connections to enable the navigation portion of it.
One question does your heat and AC sticks at 22°? Because mines did when I had swapped it out to the 8.4 screen and also the auto button doesn’t work
@moneyrome7303 It was. I could adjust the heat and cold to desired temperature but it always reverted back to 22°. Auto never worked but I didn’t mind.

Was your Bluetooth already installed in your car and did it plug right in?
Bluetooth was already installed and no modifications had to be done. It was just plug and play.
Hey mani didn’t catch it in the video but where did you buy the screen and the radio from? If possible could I get some specifics on what type of radio it is? If not that’s alright too
All details to the radio and bezel are in the description of the video. The radio itself is an RB5 with navigation. The radio was bought as part of an auction set taken out of a 2014 SRT8.
After all connected, does it need to be flash for the Bluetooth and the navigation to work or it should work right after that ??
@@yteqsvhokoew8889 If you do not have factory navigation you need the antenna and navigation/gps connector. Run that through your vehicle to the radio receiver in order to enable that feature. Factory Bluetooth will automatically work. If you do not have that than you’ll also need to buy the connectors and Bluetooth module separately.
What’s the correct radio to use
RB5 with nav is the correct one, not the one that come with the car
Exactly what @lazarocanio9314 said. RB5 is the radio designed with navigation. Check out Cleveland Power & Performance on eBay. Got the entire setup from them on a bid for $360.
hey man mandatory do you have to change the radio receiver i already change it without the radio receiver i got it im just waiting for the AC module with the ssd card but the radio it give me a white screen, and then slowly turn off
Yes, you have to change the radio receiver in order for it to be compatible with the 8.4” screen.
What if. I have the right reciever but it still turn on white then turns off but I can still hear the responsiveness of the radio touch

how can i get a aftermarket speakers n amp installed with tha radio😊
Shop on Crutchfield.com you can get aftermarket speakers, amp and subs if you have the right system. The Durango’s came with a Alpine 6 or 10 speaker system and a Harman Kardon 19 speaker system. All recommend you not change the factory radio but to add on to it in regards to speakers. Hope this helps.
