I like how at the end you weren’t content with the polishing job, I got a pendant made the service changed because of inflation but for spot price it was about 3 bucks and for polishing for a very detailed pendant it was about 200 so not terrible however the polishing price is understandable with Everything increasing like crazy it would be nicer cheaper but I’ll take what I can get until I can polish a bit more myself

my dude even showing you how to look up trademarks :O. editing, script, graphics, knowledge are all on point, the repetition of facts is important and well executed. Only critique I could give is the mic quality doesn't sound nice. if you get a cheap mixer, you can play around with the tones and have yourself sounding really powerful. this is some great concise teaching here, you are doing some great work.

@@SlavaTVOfficial if you already have one, look into getting a sound mixer. one with three knobs that have the low mid and trim. It's a night and day experience when you get the right setting. NPR type radio sounds with a booming bass in the voice. I think they make apps for that now, but you might be able to find one really cheap somewhere.

So I have about 3 months that i got my business license to start my own jewelry Business and let me tell you i was not expecting these manufactures charging top dollar for everything (design, wax, casting , and polish) i made a 13 gram pendant and total price as of right now came out to $703 dollars. Smh more than the businesses in the first floor in the jewelry district. Thats crazy !!!!

hey, just try out a few polishers you will find the ones that do good work
People like ben baller have their own factories with their own quality control. They aren’t paying these unrealistically low prices he is saying in the vid. You get what you pay for, top level work isn’t cheap.

hey brother can you please make a video on how to make cuban link chain by hand? i know that you have made a video already but its using the casting method. the real problem i face is i dont understand the ratio of the thickness of the wire and the mandrel thickness and how to the length of the chain is impacted by the weight. please if you can make it possible it would be great.
I usually clip the supports before curing it with a UV lamp.

In your experience how do your casters feel about using resin prints? All casters here in NYC do not like using resin and will not recast if it messes up due to it being resin and not wax

I’m not in the jewelry business but I do appreciate the art / craftsmanship. I wanted to ask you the following questions:
a) Can a casting or CAD be used multiple times?
b) If a jeweler has some already finished pieces (pendants) but they are semi-hollow and you’re looking to get an exact duplicate of that pendant but made fully solid - would the jeweler need to create a new mold?
c) Is it difficult for jewelers (designers or craftsman) to duplicate another jewelers design without the mold /CAD and only copy from a few images (photos)?

hey, you can make as many waxes you want with a cad (3d ) design
you can make a mold or you can 3d scan it and reprint
that depends on how skilled a designer is. you can always 3d scan

I’m not a jeweler, but I was looking to work with a guy to get a pendant made and he was basically inflating the price on me. I asked you the specific questions because this guy already had the mold or cad from his other pieces. I wanted a fully solid pendant (not the semi-hollow one he was selling) and upgraded stones. He tried to quote me double the price

hey, sorry im confused. a cad is a 3d file. did he have a rubber mold or a 3d cad? if he has a 3d file he would just edit the file to make it solid and print a wax then cast. if he just has a rubber mold he would add wax to it to make it solid. also what do you mean by semi hollow? what kind of piece is it
So he wouldn’t say wether he has/had the mold vs CAD. The pendant is a Jesus head (mixed stone for the crown). And yes...it’s “semi-hollow” which was a shocker for me because I’ve never known jewelry to be semi-hollow (just solid as my other pieces are, and hollow is evident when it ‘clanks’). Anyway, the piece is unique (nicely designed) but for the size Length - 51.72mm Width - 27.33mm. It’s rather small...and with his semi-hollow specs it’s just 25.6 grams in weight @ $7,150 SI clarity
For the VS quality stones I want, and fully solid (estimating 50-60 grams weight), dude tries to quote me $12k-13,000
What's up man, i made an attempt with the same resin to make a croissant ring and the caster is saying this resin isn't good enough and ended up having to over cast. Lost the design in the process. Do you know why this could be?
If you just give the file to someone to print after it is made will they add the supports before making the wax model?
