Great video. I have one that is gigantic. When I purchased it had only a few leaves and was told I didn’t need to stake it. Wrong! It’s so big now that i need to propagate and stake. Hopefully I’ll be able to salvage some of it.

Your plant is amazing! The top of mine rotted (where the new growth would come from) and now has a hardened top. I now have not seen any vertical growth. Is there something I can do to promote new growth?

I moved mine outside this spring and it was perky and tall, then I was out of town for a weekend and my husband had to move it because of workers and when I came home it had bent ninety degrees and looks so sad. I can’t figure out why, so I can’t figure out how to fix it. Maybe too much light, maybe too much water (we had both huge storms and a few hot days.) Maybe just mechanical injury from being carried? I guess I’ll repot and stake it and hope for the best.

You mentioned fertilizer. What's the best NPK RATIO for this variety? I live in a rural area with no access to speciality nurseries or special prepared soil or fertilizer. Can you suggest a FERTILIZER mixture please?
