I totally agree with Mel’s take on the Jamie Foxx special. I felt disappointed and I was not emotionally moved by it. The comments I read across social media by friends and others saying they shed tears had me anticipating a moment that never happened for me. I would have preferred that he told his story in an interview vs something I feel was framed into entertainment.
