I used to live in the same area as Maven maybe like 8 or 9 years ago and saw him out in public at the grocery store and restaurant maybe like 3 or 4 times and he couldn’t of been any friendlier or classier every time I saw him and it’s not a nice guy act just for the cameras. He really is what everyone sees now he’s just a great guy

What makes Maven different than other wrestlers on YT is that he doesn’t bash the business nor other guys. Heck he doesn’t bash Vince McMahon. He always looks at the positives and he comes across as likable.

Love Maven, he’s got a great speaking voice and his humility is palpable. The way he talks definitely lets you know that he learned some things the hard way and grew from them. His TH-cam Channel is great for these reasons.

Honestly, with how much attraction that Maven is getting now, it would be cool to see him work with WWE again. Not as a wrestler, but as a commentator or a panelist on a PLE.
Mavens ability to break down the 'secrets' while keeping some of his cards close to his chest is excellent. Gives us a deeper insight, but you know he has other stories to tell that are just for him/the boys

Personally, if I were a boss in the WWE I would bring Maven back not as a wrestler, because his body is pretty damaged and wrestling again could easily cause him to fall back into taking opioids, but I’d absolutely hire him to be a commentator and bring him onboard backstage as part of the team that comes up with the stories.

Was never really into Maven, but, only because he was so green, but, I don't think he was used right either. I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. I love the stories and insight. He comes off very sincere
I came across his youtube channel a while back. Such a humble person he knows where he stood in the business and that he didn't take the "standard" route to the business. His stories are great to listen to.
This is a very interesting video. I haven’t followed it for a couple of decades, but I still enjoy professional wrestling. My ex-husband would call it a soap opera for men, but we traveled all over our home state to watch live matches and TV tapings. I even had opportunities to meet some of my favorites, and a friend from our college days is still active in an administrative role in the Philadelphia area.
I started watching again recently just before Wrestlemania, after not watching it for over 20 years. It’s good fun. Still not as good as the Attitude era, but it’s entertaining. It’s also great that you can basically watch every single event on Peacock. It’s been fun to go back and rewatch stuff and also see what I’ve missed over the years. Also having the entire ECW catalog on there has been fantastic cause it was hard to watch that stuff at thes time.
Maven may not have become a main event superstar in the WWE but damn this man is turning into one in youtube and social media space!
That only raises his stock as a wrestler. History books will look upon him more favorably because of this second stint.

I haven’t watched wrestling since I was about 12 years old (32 now) and I can’t stop watching Mavens channel. I watched the first season of Tough Enough as it was airing, I watched his first match live on tv, I saw the drop kick when it happened and being able to kind of reconnect to the kid again, via Maven who was kind of every kids stand in at the time (he made a lot of kids feel like it was possible to one day get in the ring with legends and icons), is really awesome.
Mike Chioda was a ref well past 2002. I didn't start watching til 09 and he was still there.

TBH it's a crime that Triple H hasn't given Maven a role in WWE. I didn't even watch wrestling when he was a superstar, but he's so likeable and charismatic on TH-cam that he deserves to be associated once again in an official capacity.
they probably wont give him a chance. because he would have to water down his YT channel to be in line with what wwe wants or wwe gets some sort of say to what he can do on his YT channel... remember uudd 10 years ago when it was still new and how good it was.. then after "exposing" some of the kayfabe stuff, wwe higher ups tone down the channel a bit.

What's interesting about Maven's rise to prominence on TH-cam is that, since the business was "exposed" on a mass scale with the advent of the internet, so much of the intrigue of the behind the scenes has been about the conflict. It's nice to see someone succeed by generally being positive and proving they can still be interesting.

This has been like a recap of maven's channel from day 1 until this day lol. In two years insider will have our boy back for the evolution of his TH-cam success lol, I'm willing to put money on it.
From a guy who had a career in an era of wrestling that I skipped to on of my favorite TH-camrs. It took me awhile to start watching his channel because I was like "Who's this dude?", but I'm so glad that I did.
