@@Davud_Akh You are so genuine, humble, and kind human. I have watched so many of your videos, including an Iran Art lady's video. Your Sri Lanka 3.0 series made me a member of your channel, contributing monthly. These days I am not in a good financial situation to reasonably contribute to your (actually my country's) project, I made a small contribution, and I request my overseas friends to become a member of this great man's channel to keep him what he is doing now.
It is so sad that although Davud has a “bleeding heart” and empathy for most underprivileged individuals he forgets or overlooks to help the most deserving. When he had breakfast ( hoppers with coconut symbol and tea ) he completely neglected to tip the poor vendors at the kiosk who cooked and served him, but gave Rs.900.00 to the translator who did nothing but ordered his food in Sinhala. These broken English speaking middle men make more money than the poor hard working kiosk owners. They sold food to Davud at the local price of Rs 100.00 which is equivalent to US $ 0.30cts that would have cost him over US$ 4.00~5.00 in a middle class restaurant or a hotel in Colombo. Please note that to make hoppers they have to buy flour coconut milk, yeast or substitutes, salt and other ingredients. They have to buy or spend time to find firewood. Then for the coconut sambol they have to buy or use home grown coconut that has to be shredded, onions, lemon or lime, red pepper, black pepper and buy very expensive dried Maldive fish that is often used. When you consider what these roadside vendors have to go through to bring food to the table Rs 100 is an extremely extremely low price (ie. Rs 100 = US$ .30 cents.) When you gave the server Rs.1000 note he was honest and took only Rs100 which is the same price he charges locals and gave you back Rs.900 change. Cannot imagine that you who always help people for doing minor helpful tasks completely forgot or neglected the people who fed you. You gave the entire balance of Rs 900 to the man who translated but none for the poor people who cooked and served you hoppers and tea. You could have easily split the Rs 900 between the translator and the shop keeper at Rs 450 each or given Rs 500 to the shopkeeper and Rs 400 to the translator which could have been fair. Otherwise not given anything to either of them. There is a Sinhala saying “ some drink water from the little well but praise the ocean” . Same way you fulfilled your need by the food vendor but tipped the translator. Anyway you are free to make YOUR choice.

A great guy Davud..always share his blessing to a small vendor..God bless you always and I really inspired by your kindness..❤🧡💛Take care always Davud..Your one of my favorite guy accross internet..Keep rolling your camera..Much Love from Holy Land🇮🇱💟
Davud, nice to see you again on the roads of Sri Lankan countryside. Those ppl were confused. In SL tea means tea with milk. If they say no tea (bcs they don't have a fridge) ask for plain tea, that means with no milk. All such small places offer plain tea. Most of them are so innocent ppl and shy, has English difficulty. That old gentleman understands English, so good. Thank you 😊
Hi Davud, in Sri Lanka "Tea" always refer to tea with milk. You have to use "Plain tea" if you want to have regular tea. They will always say they dont have tea if they dont have milk on it.
Thank you Davud, for your kindness to those villagers in my country. You’re an amazing human being, and you stop in many places to contribute those people in Srilanka. I’m watching from Canada and really touched my heart. God bless you and keep you safe in your journey. ❤
Davud, you're following a different tactic to attract viewers and it's a good tactic and its amazing. Keep up your good work and I'm sure you will grow fast too.
Wow Davud, you're amazing. You're the perfect embodiment of Foundation of Goodness. The best ambassador the Foundation could have. If only the world had more people like you.. When will you be traveling back home to Azerbaijan? We would love to see your family, your parents, your hometown. Thank you to your parents for such a beautiful creation in you. All the best in your adventures. 💕
Thank you davud I am a Sri Lankan citizen.. you are doing a very good job. Due to the high levels of power and tyranny in our country, the people of the country are very poor because of the heavy tax burden. Those people always make up their minds that this must be the way we were born. There is no theft for our poor and innocent people. There are some people who increase the price when they see a tourist. A lot of people are not like that.. In a coconut shop like that, they don't even sell such nuts. 20 nuts is the maximum. Sometimes there are no coconuts. You have to go far to find them. Those people must have been very happy with the amount you gave. Thank you very much for choosing a country like Sri Lanka to walk. Your coming fills the stomach of the people of our country.. Once again thank you very much..❤️
Salams from Sri Lanka Davud can count the the happiness index of Sri Lanka on behalf of the authorities ig 😅 It’s really nice of you to reward the people specially in that last coconut stop where u gifted 5000 for that deserving family.. Please do visit Eastern province of Sri Lanka; Trincomalee,Batticoloa 🇱🇰😇
Hey Davud, if you like hoppers with a sweet Nutella-like version, there are sweet hoppers in Sri Lanka called "Pani Appa" in Sinhalese language, which directly translates to "Honey Hoppers" in English. Actually, they do not use bee honey, but instead use Kithul Treacle.
Hey Davud, This is one of your best videos I have seen so far... thank you very much for taking the beauty and hospitality of Sri Lanka out to the world.. If you would like to visit and explore the farming life of Sri Lanka in the down south region (Thanamalvila) please let me know. I would be happy to host you in my farm and take you around the area to show you how the Sri Lankan rural farming system works... Have a safe journey... Much love.....
Thank you, my friend, for assisting the impoverished people of Sri Lanka, such as Piyadasa, the seller of King coconuts. Your support has empowered them to strive toward selfsufficiency and independence. 😍😍😍
Thank you for visiting Sri Lanka again and for the good work that you're doing in this beautiful country ❤❤ About the coconuts: King coconut is the best choice for drinking. When the coconut is young and not too matured it's easier to open the shell and the coconut water inside tastes better. Mature coconuts are used to extract coconut milk for cooking🥥🌴
Davud, It is inspiring to see someone like you, Your video not only provides much-needed exposure to these vendors, but it also encourages people to support local businesses and artisans. By buying from these vendors, you are helping them to generate income and support their families, which is especially important during these challenging times. I want to thank you for your efforts and encourage you to continue to support small vendors in our country. Your videos make a positive impact, and it is heartwarming to see someone using their influence to make a difference in people's lives. Much love from Qatar

Thank you for showcasing Sri Lanka again. I think they probably has tea but not tea with milk. The language barrier probably caused confusion for these guys.
yea it's confusing for me sometimes. so usually Tea without sugar = Kahata Hot tea = plain tea Milk tea = tea Milk packets or bottles = milk Black Coffee = Coffee
Yes indeed! And when he asked for 1kg of ladies fingers they might have thought thet he is joking, because no one is buying that huge amount of Ocra in sri lanka 😊
@@Dumindamadushan Oh... I forgot about those terms. You are correct. I have not been to Sri Lankan since I was a kid but I do speak Sinhala at home. Sometimes small details like "Kahata" gets lost in translation even if you speak Sinhala at home in a foreign country. I typically ask my parents when I need a proper term in Sinhala. Thanks for the list.

Thank you Davud for being so kind enough to think about these rural communities that bring there farming to road side's for sale.

Thank you so much ..help to my country ..you are such a great person ..May god protect you &ur family ...!! Lot of merit you 🙏🙏..God Bless you !!
Correct 👌
I love your humble and kind way to interact with people, we can learn a lot from you
You are such a humble guy Davud. I really appreciate your kindness. ❤
Dear friend you are just llike a bird flying around the sky freely. Long live brother....!!. God bless you simply guy...!!

Wow. You are getting the best experience in this country. Travelling alone. And being so humble melts my heart. ♥
Davud we normally don't buy coconut for drinking we use it for cooking
Thank you Davud, for your kindness to those villagers in my country. You’re an amazing human being, and you stop in many places to contribute those people in Srilanka. I’m watching from Canada and really touched my heart. God bless you and keep you safe in your journey. ❤
Davud, you're following a different tactic to attract viewers and it's a good tactic and its amazing. Keep up your good work and I'm sure you will grow fast too.
Thank you very much Davud for helping our peoples.🥰
Wow Davud, you're amazing. You're the perfect embodiment of Foundation of Goodness. The best ambassador the Foundation could have. If only the world had more people like you.. When will you be traveling back home to Azerbaijan? We would love to see your family, your parents, your hometown. Thank you to your parents for such a beautiful creation in you. All the best in your adventures. 💕
I love this video
Your just making our country more awesome ❤ Good luck & all the very best !
Once again thank you very much..❤️
Thank You Davud for visiting Sri Lanka and bringing a smile to those small businessmen ❤ stay safe
Salams from Sri Lanka
Davud can count the the happiness index of Sri Lanka on behalf of the authorities ig 😅 It’s really nice of you to reward the people specially in that last coconut stop where u gifted 5000 for that deserving family..
Please do visit Eastern province of Sri Lanka; Trincomalee,Batticoloa 🇱🇰😇
and Beruwalla
Sri Lanka is lowwy down in happiness index
Hey Davud, if you like hoppers with a sweet Nutella-like version, there are sweet hoppers in Sri Lanka called "Pani Appa" in Sinhalese language, which directly translates to "Honey Hoppers" in English. Actually, they do not use bee honey, but instead use Kithul Treacle.
Always they are actual prices.. no need to bargain… ❤❤
Hey Davud,
This is one of your best videos I have seen so far... thank you very much for taking the beauty and hospitality of Sri Lanka out to the world..
If you would like to visit and explore the farming life of Sri Lanka in the down south region (Thanamalvila) please let me know. I would be happy to host you in my farm and take you around the area to show you how the Sri Lankan rural farming system works...
Have a safe journey...

Thank you, my friend, for assisting the impoverished people of Sri Lanka, such as Piyadasa, the seller of King coconuts. Your support has empowered them to strive toward selfsufficiency and independence.
😍😍😍
Davud, Nice to see you back to purl of Indian ocean. Pls explore eastern part of Srilanka ..It might acctually be great experience for you
Thank you for visiting Sri Lanka again and for the good work that you're doing in this beautiful country ❤❤
About the coconuts: King coconut is the best choice for drinking. When the coconut is young and not too matured it's easier to open the shell and the coconut water inside tastes better. Mature coconuts are used to extract coconut milk for cooking🥥🌴
I know more about 🥥 now 😊🌴🤞
This is the best traveler that I have ever seen. Wish to meet you in person. Good luck David.
I am sri lankan....you made our poor people happy...my heartiest thanks for you...
Thank you brother 🙏 ❤
You are such a great person. I was crying at the end 🥺.
I'll definitely help you for the education program ❤
Davud, It is inspiring to see someone like you,
Your video not only provides much-needed exposure to these vendors, but it also encourages people to support local businesses and artisans.
FYI - In Sri Lanka people call milk tea just "Tea" and for tea (without any milk) they call it "Plain Tea". Hope you will find this useful.
Thank you for visiting Sri Lanka and helping out people out there…great Chanel ❤️
The last couple who were selling king-coconuts are so kind ❤ the smile is pure ❤

😢🎉🎉🎉🎉May almighty bless you. I am proud of you. I am from Southern Sri Lanka. Alhamdulillah! You are immensely helping people.
Thank you for showcasing Sri Lanka again.
I think they probably has tea but not tea with milk. The language barrier probably caused confusion for these guys.
yea it's confusing for me sometimes. so usually
Tea without sugar = Kahata
Hot tea = plain tea
Milk tea = tea
Milk packets or bottles = milk
Black Coffee = Coffee
Mr.Davud You are very kind and humble person.🌏
