My first one was the S7 edge, then I upgraded to the s10, and just upgraded to the s22+. I've had it for 4 days now and I love it. ❤️

@@vee3133 Tge ultra was my original option, but decided to go with the pluss cuz I don't see myself using the S pen as much and the size is too big. Only reason I wanted it was for the cameras, but the pluss has pretty good cameras too.
@@LeNiarfe yea I actually got the Ultra because of the boxy Note like design not the S pen. I've had the phone for 5 days now and I just now used the pen for the first time. Just to write a random note lol. Also I thought it was going to be a big leap, size wise from the S10. Surprisingly it's not I'm already use to the size
I feel that, I do like the look of the ultra and I'm pretty used to slightly bigger size of the pluss already aswell lol I am not really a huge fan of the flat screen, still need some getting used to it, but overall I'm loving it. I'll probably upgrade to the ultra next year if the design and specs for the pluss stays the same lol

my very first phone was the Galaxy ace, now i use an S20 Ultra. its so cool seeing this brand evolve as time goes by.
S10 was by far my favorite phone of all time. I can have the same features as the s10+ on a smaller body, something rare nowadays

The S10+ was an awesome handset. I run a 22 Ultra now.
The shot at 11:13 is a perfect thumbnail, it summarizes the video succinctly. Gen 1 highlighted the functional aspects of the phones, i.e., how many productivity apps it featured. Gen 2 started to focus on showcasing the color capabilities of the screen, Gen 3 the detail and resolution. Now the newest phones emphasize usable screen area with edgeless displays. Great video, what a time to experience the development of such a paradigmatic piece of tech.

I had:S1,S2,S2 plus,S3,S5,S6 EDGE PLUS,S7 EDGE,S8,S10 PLUS,S20 PLUS and now s22 ultra 256gb 12 gb ram.
It’s interesting how the S6 had QHD, yet, the new S22’s (besides the Ultra) don’t. Also, the S20’s had 12GB RAM across all 5G models, which is now exclusive to the 22 Ultra. The 45W charging also seems to appear, disappear then reappear randomly as well.

You right! In S20 Ultra added 45W, In S21 Ultra only 25W, but in new S22 Ultra 45W appears again
Samsung's reasoning behind reducing RAM was the addition of RAM plus which utilizes the phone's memory as extra RAM if needed. Also, when I had my S20 I never used QHD. Having a 120hz refresh rate & Full HD was always a way better option imo.
Their software is just infinitely better than when they first started out.
I still use the S9 64GB and still works flawlessly, and battery life is still great despite regular usage (I can go on without charging for almost 2 days). I have a hard time justifying dropping serious cash to upgrade it 🤷🏻♂️
Z Fold 4 or Future Z Foldable Phones will maybe change your Mind. I'm waiting for the Samsung Z Fold 6 or Z Fold 7

S10 line still isn't outdated. Along with the expandable memory and headphone jack, I still prefer it over the newer ones.

My first smart phone was the Galaxy S. It lasted a year, then stopped working. My later buys in the series were the S4 and S5 minis, followed by the S8 and S10 ( which I currently have ).
First Samsung was the S3 Mini (my second mobile phone in general), then I switched brands by going to Motorola for the G5, then the G9 Plus and now, I'll go back to Samsung with the S22 Ultra after what has to be roundabout 4-5 years of not having used a Samsung device. Honestly can't wait to hold it in my hands and feel the upgrade from my Motorola G9 Plus.

The S4 mini was my first smartphone ever. It lasted for good 4 years until it got stolen at a party and I never saw it again. It got substituted by a S8 which I proudly own until this very day.

I have had EVERY Galaxy S since the SII. I was only ever slightly disappointed in the S4. But every set has been solid since and always ahead of the curve. I just ordered the S22 Ultra yesterday.
This is my Christmas.
The 3 was great, the 4 was nothing new, the 5 idk, the 6 was horrific battery life but beautiful phone, the 7 had insane overheating issues, I used to hold out the window when I drove to cool it and stick in the fridge at home. The 8 was very solid and a huge step up, the 9 was nothing new, the 10 is a big step up, the 20 and 21 idk and the 22 ultra is a big let down for me because it's 8gb of RAM unless you get the 1tb then you get 12 which I have now on my note 10.

I started with a terrible Samsung device in the beginning of highschool. It was not one of the S series. Samsung galaxy J3V I believe. I had that from 2018-2020. I then went and upgraded to the S20+. The improvements were night and day difference. It was and still is an amazing phone.
I did unfortunately end up dropping the phone in just the right spot to where a rock cracked the screen. Didn't ruin the phone, and still rocked it for a year.
I'm now using the S22 ultra. Absolutely fantastic phone. Just wish I got the 12gb of memory not the 8
When I joined graduation in 2011 one of my friend bought Galaxy S2. I became so amazed to see that. We downloaded HD print of Avatar movie and man... It was unbelievable to have a phone with that display quality at the time. Many years later I bought one myself as a secondary phone just to trigger some old memories ❤️
I have the S10 plus and I love it still! Its hard to upgrade and face losing expandable storage & headphone jack.

I made the switch to android and have been happy ever since. My first phone was the S9 and I just recently upgraded to the S22 Ultra, I'm happy and still good to go.
My first galaxy was the s7 edge! I have gotten every years newest model since then, I have the s22 plus atm, my fave one so far!
I remember the S4. Samsung was uncontested king of Android at that time. Such beautiful phones that had something magical in them
For me it all started with the S3, then S5, S7, S9, S20 and soon S22+. The pattern is I upgrade every 2 years.
Do you think it's worth upgrading though. I have s20 also and wanted s22+ or ultra but not sure it's worth it now since display wise I don't think I will noticed any differences

Started with the original Samsung Galaxy S from T-Mobile (Came with the Inception movie on it), then Galaxy S5 (loved the IR blaster for controlling TVs), then S7, then S9 and now just recently upgraded to the S22+. I miss the headphone jack and SD card slot, lol.

My first Samsung from the S line was the S6 Edge. Since then I was always in the S line. Now I own an S22 Ultra.
Galaxy S8 plus was my favorite phone of all time. I’ll never forget thinking how cool it was that it felt like a smooth pebble in my hand with the rounded edges and no buttons. Fingerprint scanner on the back was perfect and the water resistance sealed the deal. Never had a phone make an impression on me like that one did.
Same but with regular s8, when i saw it i fell in love with its design.

Been an apple fan boy since the iPhone 5 days. Recently switched from a 12 pro max, to the s23 ultra, and I'm in love. I do not miss my iPhone at all, if I knew this was what I was missing I would've switched sooner tbh
My first one was the galaxy s5 then I upgraded it to s6 edge then s7 edge and now I finally got the s22 ultra love it.
I started with S2. Followed by S2 plus, S5 mini, S7 edge, then took a side step to Huawei P20 pro (was a gift) and now I am using S10 lite, which is the perfect sweet spot for me. I was thinking about getting a S20 plus, but honestly, I don't see the advantage for me. Until Samsung comes up with another model using snapdragon I will stick with the S10 lite. Nice video, btw 😊

Owned Galaxy S, S3, S5, S7, S9....and now ordered S22 :)
I became a fan of the galaxies when I first saw the S2. It was way more advanced than any other phone I had seen but it was only available in Europe. At that time Europe always had the most advanced phones. The only way I could get it was if I had at&t because at that time unlocked phones would only work with them I believe. Since I had Verizon I had to let it go.
When the S3 was announced to sell in America I wanted to make sure it was the next phone I got. I dropped my phone in August of 2013 and shattered the screen so I went to Verizon the same day. I picked out an S3 and the guy told me Verizon was ending unlimited plans with any new contract. Fortunately the first week after they announced it there was a work around in the system and my friend worked at Verizon so I got it. I had to keep the phone for years because I couldn't upgrade and Verizon used to offer me straight up free phones for a new contract.
To this day I'm one of the less than 1% of Verizon customers on the original unlimited plan and I currently have the note 10 plus which is my first non S phone since 2013.
After having both, the S and the Note, which do you like more?
@@thenovicegamer007 Definitely the note. After dealing with my s6 having horrible battery life and my s7 constantly overheating, I used to put it in the refrigerator and drive with it out the window. My s8 was a great phone with no major issues but it got rather slow over time.
I've had the Note since November 2019 and it's performance has been stellar. it still looks and feels new to me. But I did have a major issue with it, out of nowhere it would reboot on me multiple times a day. I sent it to Samsung twice and they just sent it back saying that there were no problems found. Eventually the phone just blue screened and then I sent it in and they ended up replacing the battery and motherboard. The strangest part was how every time I called them they said the phone was under warranty until a certain date and that date changed every time I called them. In reality it had passed the warranty date by about 6 months. So I got the phone fixed for free but it wasn't supposed to be. It's been working great ever since and I plan to keep the phone for a while.
Verizon is notorious for not being for the customer. Eliminating their unlimited plan was such a huge dealbreaker.
I had S 4 and my wife got S 4 mini... Now i have S 9 plus , she got S 20 plus. I want to upgrade my till S 21 ultra. Nice video. Got some nostalgia. Samsung one love!

Wow., My first ever Samsung was the Galaxy S , When I was 17 years old. Till this day I only use Samsung Phones , I just got my Galaxy S22 Ultra 2 Weeks ago .

Después tuve un Xperia Z3 y no me gustó, así que me compré el Galaxy S7 Edge. Desde que volví a los Galaxy, ya no me he cambiado de marca, tuve el Galaxy S8+, el S10+, actualmente tengo el S21 Ultra, y estoy esperando con ansias el próximo S23 Ultra. 🤩
Mi Galaxy S21 Ultra es muy bueno, honestamente solo quisiera hacer el upgrade al S23 Ultra, porque supongo que tendrá el S Pen. Aunque no sé qué mejores funciones tendrá. 😅🤷🏻♂️
Como recomendación, no cambian de celular cada año, no hay mucha inovación, esperen a que pasen al menos 2 años para que vean la diferencia 😉
