My recommendation: Try to find a rear ended i3. So you can use all the front parts on thisone. There should be at least 1, somewhere.

Tbh my man I think you should ditch the i3 or at least find a less damage one it's not worth the hassle or the money your gonna throw at it but regardless of what you do I'd definitely will still be watching

Try and find another damaged I3 and make a good one out of the two. Or try and buy one off the wreckers. Will work out a lot cheaper than buying individual parts and will end up with some spares to sell off.

You should wrap the i3 in a individual color, such as Atlantis Blue (would match your F80) or Purple Silk etc.

I have always been interested in the i3 due to the amount of miles i drive. My 335 can’t take the abuses anymore lol… looking for one at auction now haha

I'm curious and have faith. That being said, maybe have limits set In place, Just in case the build gets too crazy/costly

extra,about the bmw i3,i have not found in all internet any thing about repair or teardown of rex extender because someone contact me he have problem with rex no output voltage of rex electrician in north africa told him he do not how to deassasembly the alternator and he do not even where is...
The i3 is going to be a difficult and expensive build, but trust the process...your other builds were all nice, so put your own touch on it and be the first to have a modified i3 anywhere.

I would not rebuild a i3 it's electric witch will have faults and electrics is not easy fix
Risky business... the carbon fiber monocoque can be damaged by the impact to the aluminum subframe... and if that happens, it's a death trap... the carbon fiber can self deteriorate once it's been compromised.
