Try a boat repair shop for aluminum welding. Pontoons are aluminum. Had to have mine welded. Might be worth a shot. But I think you should cut your losses. Find one in better shape later. This one seems to be a money pit.

Glad the plastic welding for the tabs worked so well, piece by piece it's coming together.
Keep it up bro, the i3 is definitely a quirky vehicle but it's really a cool pickup to switch things up on the channel.

Most frame rails are replaced with rivets and bmw specific glue not welded so I would look into that

NOIUR!!!!! You see those round cylinder looking pins with holes in either side of where you plastic welded the clips, those are for the repair kit. That means there’s a repair kit for those headlights

Rich Rebuilds on youtube is the man for EV rebuilds. EV’s are a totally different animal so you might of got in over ur head with this BMW save
Have you considered wrapping the i3 in a (example) individual color?
Bmw sells replacement brackets to bolt into the bosses you see next to each tab for like $60 for set. At least you should have used metal staples that melt into place and then smear with epoxy. The brackets save you lots of time and risk of future failure.
Those harbor freight wheel carriers would help you out so much
i think you will learn alot building it, and you should continue. once its all said and done i think it will be worth it in the mid to long term
Finish the build but really try to stick to a budget, fixing the tabs is a great way to save money 🙌🏻
Hey nour liam from Scotland I am in the motor trade in my opinion i would get rid of i3 not worth the money u will spend on it especially with the frame damage and also need to be careful when working with electric cars . Love the channel bro 👌

Honestly, in my opinion, it’s not worth saving the i3. What’s a rebuilt i3 gonna sell for? Seems like it’s the same case as the 7 series in a way. Other than the mpg I don’t see a reason to keep the car. It’s small so you can’t carry much and I don’t really care of the i3. Jus my opinion so it doesn’t matter.

The hit on the frame was quite hard, also subframe and steering are also damaged, not going to be easy to fix and cheap
