Published October 2020 when Ale was 15 years old. She's been a Featured Spector Artist since she was 13 and is one of only three artists displayed permanently on the banner of their "Artists" webpage.
She’s very marketable

Ale is absolutely nowhere near world class, but she’s very marketable. It’s business.
@@davesheville2023 Have you ever seen her playing Jazz/Jazz Fusion - which she can.
Ale is also a classically trained pianist, and from all accounts has perfect pitch and often corrects the drummer on timing.
She's still only 19 years old (playing bass for about 11 years). She's extremely talented, and has plenty of time to improve her craft further. With The Warning she plays what's necessary to 'make' the song, and not forgetting, she also sings backing a lot of the time while playing.
I'd agree with you that she's very marketable now a days. But, she has been a Spectre Artist for around 6 years I believe. This is when hardly anyone had even heard of ''The Warning'', never mind ''Alejandra Villarreal'', which doesn't make much business sense to me at all. Surely you'd want artists that people recognise to get the biggest bang for your buck?
@@Wishi13 I have and she can definitely play - but there are literally tens of thousands who can. The point being that she's not unique and that there are thousands of amazing musicians out there - this isn't a criticism of her, but she's nowhere near that league.
Spectre would be very aware of their online presence and the fact that she's a young woman playing bass - great influence potential and marketable. And let's be real - if it was a 30yr old average looking male bassist playing exactly the same thing he wouldn't be noticed.
Ale is VERY shy, so to see and hear her reaction, you KNOW she is overjoyed! That Bass is an incredible work of art! I cannot wait to hear it on the new album and especially LIVE! Makes me proud to be a New Yorker, from near Woodstock!!

@@bobparmelee1071 Cobleskill, so you are closer than me. But I have spent a lot of my life in the Catskills. My Dad was an Engineer with the NY Power Authority, and was Head Engineer at Blenhiem-Gilboa Power plant and the small hydro at Ashokan Reservoir among others. Do you still live near there?

Love that the brands recognize new young musicial talents. We need young "heros" if we want classic instruments to be popular in music of the future. Remember when rock was BIG and mainstream? It was young bands with their own new sound, playing for a young audience.
Started listening to her playing - did a deep dive after hearing her cover Flea's bass parts that he played on Alanis Morissette You Oughta Know - a live perforrmance that was stellar. A legit great player. So glad Spector recognized talent this/that early in her career.
So proud that Spector USA recognizes the immense talent in both Ale and the band. She now has quite a collection of basses and she can rock on all of them!!

So Spector builds a signature bass for a fifteen year old Mexican girl. Who went on to play the same instrument in front of BILLIONS of people in a worldwide audience, when she performed at MTV’s VMA show three years later. Best investment Spector ever made!

I saw The Warning 4 times this year, in the front row right in front of Ale for one show. I could almost touch her mic stand if I reached out. Awesome young woman and awesome bass!

Hey @taylormclam ~ love the colors and tone of that bass. Is it possible to purchase an Ale bass?!? Just curious. I looked on the Spector site. I couldn't seem to find it.
I think it was a limited edition. You can still find them in various stores. Bring your checkbook ($8-10k)
