Today we are back with Ollin - not Nigel - in Bounty of One and the original plan was just to go bonkers. Push the bounty to it's limits and see how wild this can become. However, over the course of the game it became apparent that you can become immortal in this game and while the setup wasn't perfect to do it without doing anything, it still worked with minimal inputs. If you were to focus more on Area, it should work without an issue.

I’ve seen other runs that become invincible but this is by far the strongest. That’s the highest bounty I’ve seen in the top left. Other ppls attempts get out scaled by enemy health way earlier.
I think you can literally become invincible as long as the explosion size is good enough and enemies get slowed down, well in theory all it needs is that armor recharges in time before they hit you again
One issue I am unsure how to deal with is enemies multi-hitting you, like they may shoot 3 fireballs or 4 dynamite and all will explode in your face. As long as you are not AFK you still won't die, but it's not truly immortal. But I think with high enough CDR this works.
Let's say you reach 99% and just enough area to always blast them away, then the armor and healing would both be on a 0.6 second cooldown. Thats enough to charge up before more projectiles hit you and even if multiple hit you and you do take damage, you only take 1 damage from the projectile (after armor is gone). Then it would depend if the game heals you if you lose armor, which the object doesn't read but it may take it as "total damage taken". Then again, a lot of that issue can be dealt with by also focusing on more HP IF that case is true. If not, then infinite amount of time will always lead to death eventually, though that again depends on how low you can get CDR - which is what I talked about (I think, unless I cut it out) with immunity frames.
When you get hit in the game, then you cant take more damage for X amount of time. If the cooldown is low enough to be within that frame, it will be impossible to die

Hello. Around 40 minute mark you skipped getting thunder dance. But think about it, when you dash, because you use all of your dashes at once, you move a lot. Thats unlimited area damage.
Your subconscious said, "Nope I'm done with this"... LOL

This video should blow up. Honestly maybe edit the video time down a little yo around 20 mins for the algo.
To be fair, the algo only cares about watchtime, so longer videos are better as long as people watch long enough. Like what I can see happen in a 20 vs a 40 minute video is that at the 10 minute mark, someone may just click off because they didnt get hooked and know 30 more minutes are ahead of them, while at a 20 minute video there is a faster progression and even if not, then you know only 10 minutes are left. So there it would hurt
But yea, my goal is to get closer to the 20 to 30 minute mark in general because the longer videos simply take too long to edit. For 20 minute videos I know how much I have left to use/what happens and then just remove entire 30 minute segments, while in this style I listen to everything I said and keep whatever notes I make over time, so people understand what I aim for or what I am thinking. If I cut something out there, then it makes no sense later when I say "And this is exactly what I was talking about".

Ig make it more straight forward so there is gonna be more thing to cut or maybe you can say more about what you're aiming in the level up section so you can cut some or in the progress of lvl up

Those bosses had infinite health sadly looks like the game broke
Its not _infinite_ health, but they do end up with way too much of it rather quickly. The game reaches a critical mass of enemies and starts redirecting the increases from enemy count and spawn rare modifiers into health, which drives boss health to insane numbers in short order. Keep surviving long enough, and manage to keep hitting one of the deputies, and they'll eventually start dying again.

2 videos back to back what did i do to deserve this? This is how i got my game to look and it takes them forever to die for some reason.
its actually a lot easier to get invincible. Get alot of Health. Get a lot of jumps. Get the item "all jumps recharge and trigger at the same time". Get the item "each jump heals you". There are some items that make this easier like "jumps recharge faster if running" and so on. But with this build you cant die. When you get low just trigger your jumps and heal to full. By the time you will get low your jump(all jumps) will have recovered and you can heal to full again. I did this in 2 runs and it worked both times. The only problem is that you have to pay attention the whole time and the run can get long.

ah, mistaking the main menu button as the back to game button. happen to me too once before. maybe because getting used to the layout of other familiar game? *looking at vampire survivor
I know, this is a old video, but if you ever get the "Dashes give you 5 Attack" and then the "A dash every X Seconds heals you" you're basically generated free upgrades for the rest of the game. With that much CDR, you can get 5 DMG every few seconds.

@Dex just pressing the dash button without moving moves you in the last direction you moved to without counting it as "moving" could help keeping your attack speed high
I think you have the best run not when your enemies outscale damage output, but when your projectile amount outscales your pc.

near the end you didnt need more area u needed morwe dammage or crit dammage
The area was for a bigger explosion, pushing out the ranged enemies and allowing armor to recharge
Damage/crit damage wouldnt have helped at that point anymore, the enemies keep scaling too fast or rather the level ups take too long AND the enmies scale too fast
Ngl I think at the late game you need to go for healing as the hearts stop dropping
@@DexTag I think in one of your previous videos you noticed that increasing health increased damage and area. So taking more health might have done the trick.

Well, actually after certain time (or reach certain bounty?), the enemies will have infinite health. That's the cue that you have to die, and since you're virtually immortal...

That build isnt all that bad.
But you should really try it with poison ;) also the 100% crit chance after dash for 1.5 sec is actually 1.5 sec per dash. It's added up. So one item gives you infinite 100% crit. You get plenty of dash CD reduction from items. Just Stack dmg/crit dmg/health/some aoe and you will reach 100k dps per enemy no probs.
I broke the game to the point where both the enemies and myself stopped taking damage..

i tried that today... i ended up with 55 hearts and 12 dashes which would heal me.. kinda ended up in the same kinda situation as the vid except i didnt need to move at all.. my base damage was around 3000+ and i had somehow ended with an attack speed of 11.0.. i also learned through that, that if ya almost empty the chests for items then ya will be able to get more health from them instead.. which is how i ended up with so much health

at first pierce looks bad on this char. but when you play a bit you understand that he HAS to have at least 1 pierce to be insane.
when the ball pierces one enemy and hits backline, it explodes there and clears masses really fast.
by fast the best aoe early game, just ollin + 1 pierce
At that point you want to have 2-3, before that bouncing will take care of everything and you'd never want the opposite bouncing after penetration
Though leaderboard runs are a whole different story from just playing
