The reason that Al is still kickin' it in the land of the living is that the devil doesn't want him in hell; he's fuckin' afraid of him.
His choice to be cautious when doing all the drugs is how anyone survives. Pretty easy to push the envelope and go tits up.

I, for one, am glad he lived as long as he did. And made so much awesome music. Uncle Al has not made a bad piece of music in the last 30 years. Thank you Mr. Jourgenson.

I have been saying Trower over hendrix for years. Off all the people to agree with me I never thought it would be Al Jourgensen but this is why I love the man. Al is brilliant.

Great interview. It helps that the interviewer has appreciation of the history of rock. You got things out of Al that were worth hearing about.
I remember in HS, circa ‘92, watching ’Cry Freedom’ in English class, and suddenly randomly hearing the opening to Ministry’s ‘Breathe’!! I was busting! Also, wouldn’t it be awesome if Pailhead came back?

Saw Ministry at 9:30 Club I. D.C. in about '89. It was surreal. I almost fainted.

I remember being in 8th Grade and hearing my brother playing Jesus built my hotrod? It literally Gave me a adrenaline rush. Ministry soon became part of my warm up soundtrack before Wrestling matches. Between Slayer, Ministry, black flag and Minor threat I was amped when I stepped of the mat. Thanks Ministry for state championships, speeding tickets and party Anthems.
Thanks for all the good times Al, keep being you and giving us that quality product. You've made my time on this planet's thin crust a far better experience.
