- Hey everyone, its been a while since I uploaded due to the meetup that lasted a few weeks. So sorry about that. Its been great meeting those who came to the fan meet (thanks for coming btw) and all the kinders who came to visit New York. School is right around the corner.. Good fun.

When i was a kid. I used to try to break my arm. Because that broke arm kid always got so much attention. And i wanted to be cool.

I had to check when this was posted for a second
Back when I was in 5th grade I used to get bullied a LOT on the walk home and to get back at them. I would use bricks to sharpen wood chips and I would place tons of these sharp wooden traps I would also place rocks for the fun of it.

When I used to go to elementary school they banned tag or any other game that involves physical content so half of the kids at recess would go behind the school playground and start a world War 3 I tell you at least one kid always got sent home with a bloody nose and the teachers were none the wiser
My school had a merry go round and sometimes adults would spin it.
I still have that scar to this day.

I rarely went to the park as a kid (thanks early age anxiety) but I have a distinct memory of one of those times. I was learning to ride a bike and nearly rode right into the river next to the park's bike/walking path. Ever since I've been scared to hop on a bike, even if it's miles from a river.

Watching this reminded me of my old playground, where we had this wooden "jungle gym". We never knew what it was, so we just called it boat (or pirate boat, depending on what we played).
When playing tag we would set up the play area, the playground itself was surrounded by a small metal fence, but there was also a semi big field (usually people would walk their dog there or use it to sunbathe), so either the play area would be only inside the fence or (if we had enough kids) everywhere. But that "boat" was just the best especially if you only had two or three kids, because you could duck and weave our way around what was essentially an area which was barely large enough to fit two cars and as I realized some years after also only a bit taller than 2 m (~6ft), so games of tag felt more intense because you couldn't just sprint away but had to be clever and nimble.
Unfortunately they removed it almost ten years ago, I think they actually renovated it because it was already old when I started using it, but the replace- or improvement (not quite sure which it is honestly) just isn't the same anymore, so I consider it gone.

There was one person that was some kind of game host and the rest was just sitting on that thingy. the person was supposed to be like the baba yaga of some sort and simon says. that was kind of wierd i know but it worked. He had to say some things for example: pretend ur a dog or somth like that. you had some time to do that if you do it you can walk one step forward. the first person to get to the baba yaga gets to give challenges. so basicly.

I grew up in a very cold place, and during the winter time me and my other indoor friends would play “Find the Warm” where we’d wander around the playground looking for the warmest spot to huddle until recess was over.
I actually remember this very fondly. That school was pretty cool-at my first year there my classmates used the snow to make these giant three foot tall balls and lined them up around the school like a caterpillar. I tried to help one time and ended up knocking a big chunk off, and I felt so bad I never went near them again, but it was pretty cool to watch other kids build it.

My sister spun me for about 10 minutes, and I got off because I felt really dizzy. I sat down for a few minutes, and, still feeling dizzy, I got on the swing. Long story short, I fell off and broke my wrist

So one night my sister, her boyfriend, and I went to a playground and we went on the merry go round and both of them, who were significantly larger and stronger than me, were running at full speed with tiny me holding on for dear life, and suddenly, my legs and the rest of my body flung up and the only grip I had were my two baby hands and it was ✨traumatizing✨ I mean maybe not as traumatic as getting run over but ya knowhdkakxka

My elementary school did the same thing because like, 15 kids had broken their arms. Also, they had these 3 bars, low, medium, and high. When I was in kindergarten, they banned kindergarteners from going on any of the bars. By school banned so much stuff, I won't even bother listing stuff.

I remember being able to go backwards and forwards on the monkey bars with full speed as a, say, third or fourth grader. I also remember playing "crocodile" (not what it was called, for it had no name). I had to swing across the monkey bars as fast as possible to get to the other side to avoid the "crocodile" (some kid who was tasked with grabbing my legs and pulling me down). I remember being half way through, snared in that kids trap, unable to escape and my hands kept slipping, and finally falling on the blacktop on my back. Had to literally walk around the entire playground, (hey, it was a middle and elementary school combined. It was pretty big), twice to regain some sense and function with my body, while escorted by (two? one?) kid(s). So that was fun. Ah, gotta love Cleveland. How the hell this game got past the grown-ups, I'll never know.

-The big field
-The grass (if it had previously rained)
-outside (if it was currently raining)
-Making friends with the younger kids (because the older kids played “too rough”
-Sharing lunches with your friends
-If someone asked to play with you, you weren’t allowed to say no (even if you hate them. This one made me and my best friend very mad because this one girl was always mean to us and she asked to play and we said no so we got in trouble)
-apparently if it’s like 35 degrees C you aren’t allowed to dump your water bottle of your head to prevent heat stroke (that one got me and my best friend sent to the *principles office*😒)

In my local park we never had a merry-go-round.... no... we had a thing called 'the puke bucket'..... it was a a blue bucket with rust all over it, you had to awkwardly climb in or get your parents to assist you. So you sit in the seat that's in in the bucket and get some to spin it around. It was one hell of a ride, but someone got hurt and it had to be removed.

Welp when I was little there were a lot of kids in my building and some kids and I formed a gang and we were some fucking animals and we would cause fights with smaller groups (we were between ages 7,8 and 9 and we didn’t know any better besides the kids from the other groups that we attacked with water balloons were asshole) and I was the wildest of the group I was like the alpha dog and they followed my comandos but then an older kid joined our group and I lost my top dog rank in a water ballon fight.

"strictly no running or playing at playground." well, what a crappy rule.
When I was younger my parents put me and my sisters in an after school club called "Club connection" since it was free and they wanted us out of the house or whatever. So it was like the last day of that club and for a little graduation party the teachers took us to the firestone park that was near the building (Which I went to all the time) All of the kids were on the marry-go-round and we were spinning reeeal fast. I lost my grip and FLEW off of it and scraped my knee bad. I think I was like six or seven at the time. When my dad came to pick me and my sisters up the teachers gave us red, white, and blue popsicles to apologize for the incident.
