I have thought about this mashup version. It is so good because it hits the Zimmer feeling of intense melancholy that Superman feels being cut off from his now-dead family on Krypton with his Williams immense energy in the love he feels for his new life on earth. Lots of people would be mentally crippled by this conflict, but he has more intestinal fortitude.
Superman would be proud of me for having given everything and more of me, even when I was the most mentally broken and this song is a breath of encouragement and calm to me. The best I've ever heard ❤

I love the drop back into the etherial sounds, moving to the build up over the pedal point, with the 3rd in the lower voice at 5:46, then the modulation at 6:02. Nice moves
This version emphasizes the Williams version more and, while I like both, this is better to me. This mix shows how things can be rendered differently without any loss in effect. Bravo!

It is how they are created and composed by very talented musicians all coming together with loads of different combinations of different instruments and it takes everyone on point to make these wonderful compositions! Not sure which version I like more, but I love that you've done two different versions as a companion piece to each other. I will say, though, that both versions have a FANTASTIC blend of the two different Smallville themes. Well done.
