I think the fact that there’s pressure to get a specific score playing for the first time definitely adds to the “demoralized” and “frustrated” feeling he was saying. I remember when I first started, all I focused on was hitting the ball, no matter how many times I had to to get to the pin. I was hooked. He should play again without pressure of scoring.
Like Josh's video, a great example of why we all love and hate this game. We still get these ups and downs decades into playing. Hooked.
