Thank you for being humble enough to show how challenging this is, as a high handicapper golf can be frustrating, and I can only say I dream about playing off 10.
Don't worry about any negative comments on this one. Any 'normal' golfer would be an absolute clown to even comment on your golf here. As you said you literally had John Rahm playing up behind you & you were playing with Richard Bland the pressure must have been unreal.
Hey Tim. You pretty much slice every drive, probably 90% of the time. Try teeing up on the right side of the tee & aim left side of the fairway. Pretty much guarantee you'll find the fairway most of the time instead of being dead right. Keep up the good work boys 👍
That’s great that your playing partners were so supportive throughout the round. Clearly nerves in play and you’ll be back better after that experience. Cheers
I mean 96 on a championship golf course is pretty good for where you’re at. Getting invited by a LIV Tour team is pretty huge, especially for you as golfers and as a channel. Being largely unfamiliar with the course, you’re at a disadvantage as it is. Nice effort, and I can’t wait to see you play more championship courses!
@@justinlee3075 Championship course doesn’t mean a course that hosts championships. It means a course that meets a certain criteria, IE course yardage, slope rating etc.
Causal bloke here. My cents I know you don’t care. You did wonderful for the type of pressure and course this was but I’d ditch that driver for a bit and focus on the long irons if you’re slicing OB so frequently, it cost you big time. Also your alignment on a few of the iron shots that went OB were exactly where you were aiming so fix that aim point more left. And take all them putts seriously. You could have broke 90 there alone.
This was my home course in high school, it’s a hard enough course and I am around a 10 handicap but I’ve shot well into the mid to low 80s, they’re blowing it a little out of proportion as to how hard this course is it’s just a very windy lynx with zero trees
If you'd have tapped in the tiny putts properly instead of messing with them you'd have shot closer to 90 which would have been a great effort, I don't think handicap golfers understand just how hard a championship course is from the tips with fast greens, safe to say we'd all have to play well to just score double our handicap and on a bad day it would be a nightmare. fair play to you for doing it.
Bro, get serious about improving your drive. So much confidence comes from being in play off the tee. You're getting some unique experiences, enjoy the ride!!
Exactly and that last hole he dropped a double on after he missed the par putt. They called it a single but no. He back handed it and missed. Bag the driver, and take all them putts seriously and he would have shot an 82
Very solid score! You clearly showed nerves at the beginning but than you calmed down over the round! Very interesting to see you play this course under tournement conditions - it was fun! P.s.: Always happy to see Martin Kaymer!
Honestly bro, don’t be hard on yourself. These courses are built to punish on mistakes. And unless you been playing 20 years straight everyday no one expects to shoot near those scores.
Dude throughout this video I must have looked up from my phone and asked “what on God’s green earth is the deal with this guys fade?!” like 10 times. You were allergic to the fairway on the front 9. My friend I enjoyed the video, content is solid… please fix your fade. 😭😭🤦🏻♂️
Yeh missed too many fairways and they were wide. I wonder if he completes those rounds when he gets a few pars at the start so it pulled his handicap down. I'm about 22 and hit more of those fairways and chip and put it about the same as this video.
I watched your first swing with a driver.. you aren't even close to a 10 handicap. I don't know how they let you play that course. You must have a good story for "make a wish"
dude just refuses to fix his swing. youd think 10 days spent learning to shallow out would gain him a straighter ball and more distance and would be far more worthwhile in the long run. all you do is hit 230 spinners into the right rough or ob. learn to hit driver straight and 18 pars will happen eventually.
I leave my driver in the bag unless I have 50 yards dispersion on both sides of where I want to hit it. Off the tee I lose 70 to a hundred yards, but I’m in the fairway and save about 6 strokes per round.
Thank you for being humble enough to show how challenging this is, as a high handicapper golf can be frustrating, and I can only say I dream about playing off 10.
Love it fellas, keep up the great work!!!

Could tell the pressure was on with you missing those tap ins, great round!
Congrats on the round! Had to be a lot of pressure taping and then in an event like that as well. Be proud! Nice job!

There is no way this guy is a 10 cap 😂
I agree, not dissing the man at all, I’ve been there, but with those slices, there’s no way. Maybe a 15-18
I thought the same. No way you’re a 10 with that slice. The drive is pure but the slice is wild and the iron work out the rough was questionable.
@@_K_W sometimes you’re a good ballstriker. Sometimes you’re this guy!
He might be a 10. A course like this will make a 10 look awful

It’s not a championship course. It’s a pretty easy public course actually. They have hosted no other tournaments.
@@justinlee3075 oh I see. Looks really really nice
@@josephhaas7413 ya it’s a nice course just not a championship course. Kinda pricey for public course. It’s runs about $120

As i watch this i feel so relatable to this. Great content my man! This is awesome im glad you that you got to play in a pro am too!
That course is BRUTAL, it was a good video 👍👍

You cost yourself about 5 shots just by the back hand putts brother. You actually didn’t play too nad. Rough looks very hard
Seriously. Then picks it up like he’d have made the next lol

The roughs are just nasty man. Well done.
They way you hit your last putt of each hole stresses me out
Going from your local to a course like this is brutal!! Fun… but brutal
Loved this video, very fun to watch. The slice was killing your score.
Id be quivering in my boots if Jon Rahm was playing up on me

that rough looked tough, good round regardless tho!
There's just no way he's a 10 handicap with that grip, swing, putting and slice. I would say 16 but he knows how to score
Good effort dude, keep pushing.
Why do people think he’s lying about his handicap 😂😂. Guys playing a super long tour course under a tonne of pressure
Golf is hard
If you played it again you'd knock 5/6 shots off that.
I havent finished yet but you should knock about 3 or 4 strokes off for having to hurry on your shots and play with this group.
Nah he goofs that many being cute
I'm sorry but that swing is not a 10 handicap............. you turned it around better than I thought. Well done.
How did you get that invite? So cool.. Ill take one in the UK next year haha!

I'm about to start. I've seen a few of your videos and I'm going to say between 110-119!
tough start but you pulled it together!
Amazing hands around the green and putts
Haha class boys. Best of luck 🫡
Great work chaps
His head went pretty early. No going back sfter that, sadly.
Is this a par 70 course? How'd he get 96?
Also, the lack of respect on those short putts.. triggering..
Playing LIV Chicago every day until I get 18 pars in a row. Welcome back to day 932….
Try to check out Andy castell golf
I think he would give you some tips in his videos that you really need.
These guys were very tall in person
Only a few swings away from breaking 90, honestly.
First comment that pops up under the video is this.. ruined the whole point of watching the video ...meh

10 handicaps don’t play a 60 yard slice 😅
Dude 96 is great for that course. I’m impressed
Your not a 10 handicap
Should have played from the tips!
10 handicap? Where???
Try yourself there with that rough
10 handicap but slices every single drive. Okay then
The Saudi Government thanks you for your service
Take your time putting. Take it seriously. There's no such thing as a gimme in that setting. You would have shot 91.
10 hc with a slice like that??

That Elon Musk’ younger brother?

Not even close 9.8hcp maybe 20
If you play familiar courses it’s possible to bring it down
4th hole 230 yard par 3 what on earth are you hitting what looks like a 6 iron for? surely you need a 5 wood or 3 wood
Well whatever he hit he was pin high just to the right so distance was fine
You got that short game lesson from Dan but yet you're not do you utilizing any of the advice he gave you you're not rotating your chest
Tim hits the water. All I can think… “one of us, one of us, one of us!”
every shot counts the same bro.
Dude you need a new driver
Your slicing everything
Why do you sound South African lol
