Great sounds as always! The Networkers never fail to amuse me with their sounds. Just a suggestion, try travelling between London Victoria and Orpington on a class 465, the 465/0s and /1s have Hitachi traction packages and sound just as amazing as their GEC-Alsthom counterparts :)
Thanks as always. Actually, I'm planning to travel to UK in October as possible. I've never board on Southeastern from Victoria, that's why I want to try it. If you like Hitachi sound, hope you listen to the sound in Osaka I uploaded. Also, I will do more like in Tokyo :D
Class 465 I don't have, but gonna register later. If you wanna contact right now, get my e-mail adress from my bio. I probably won't be able to reply right away as always.
@@NSE465 you know, you have a point, although there are several things to consider . When class 465s motors are off, or their being dragged by one of the diesel trains up north, they make the exact same hoover noise , so it's like when the wheels spin ,it still makes that noise regardless of power being on or not so it doesent seem to be related to source of power I think, but rather an inbuilt thing that cannot change unless taken out (which we wouldnt want because they sound so cool). Another thing is that apparently 365s were limited to 80mph and not the intended 90 back in the day, because of a problem they had above 80mph, before being modified further to get up to higher speeds. So the mechanisms may have been changed too. But who knows. If they are indeed alstom/metro cammel engines 100% and not a hybrid between ABB/brel and alstom. Then maybe they just dont have the same motors entirely, but rather the thyristors (hope i spelled it right) are the same. But who knows
@@bb-3653maybe they both have the same family of traction inverters but different models, theres a train named cp 2240 that has a very similar sound and it is from alstom too
They are not the same by any means. The 365 uses regenerative braking and is GEC-Alsthom only with GTO inverters. The 465s also have Hitachi traction packages in the /0 and /1 variants. Aswell as this, the 365 has to convert 25kv AC over to a DC current for the traction inverters resulting in a louder motor sound.
Quite reliable trains these are on Great Northern. Same with the Class 465 and Class 466 on Southeastern and the Class 165 & Class 166 DMU Networkers used on GWR and Chiltern Railways.
@@imaginox9 They used to have the same front as a Class 465. When I see that train in a video, it makes me smile. I guess that’s why they’re called smilies or happy trains. 😄😁
I was sent to sleep. These are so calming

Some of the best trains to travel on are 465/0/1s, 466s, 387s and 321s. If you travel on a 321 though, take ear defenders. They are loud ;)
Class 465 lol! That sounds like motor siren! Refurbished Class 321 on Greater Anglia, I interested.
Hey do you have Discord? If you want to I can give you a whole list of all the good trains to hear!

The Best Train Sound!
man those Alstom inverters sound so good
*Gasp* Too much new sounds! *coughs* I can't keep up!
(they are good though)
Love the 365s . I noticed they don't have that distinct loud jet or Hoover type sound the 465s have, esspecially the /1,/0 when they get up to speed.
That's because the motors and guts of the 365 are by GEC-Alsthom and the body and aesthetics are by ABB.
@@NSE465 no of course, although this motor doesent sound the same as 465 met cam, perhaps because they didn't have metro cammels intervention .
@@bb-3653 it could be because it's on AC. I bet on dc they'd sound almost identical

Great video! They used to also run on 3rd rail, I'm guessing on 3rd rail it would've had a different sound.
Great video the 365 are the same sound of the 465
MARIO SONIC similar, but not the same

Nope not even, 365 sounds quite different if you listen closely and compare both, but they are similar, none the less
@@SamT I thought it was my imagination that the 365s were louder than the MetCam 465s
Great video. ☺️
Please do a MK4 set from LNER the Electric Train Supply sounds so nice it can put me to sleep
When the train accelerates, it sounds like French trains, like an MI09, Z20900 and Z24500 / 26500
They’re all The are manufactured by a french rolling stock company ( Alsthom )

Nice vidéo
I can sense Toyo Denki GTO vibes here
Well, the train sounds weird, just as weird as it looks at the front. Stil I kinda like it.
Thanks for the upload!
Sifodiaz the train in the front are called HAPPY TRAINS cause it looks like a smile
This is not the original front of these trains actually, they used to have a différent front
It’s smiling for happiness
@@imaginox9 a better one imo

Wow,my local trains😉💡😁👍 will u be recording 385?
Shame connex didn't keep these. They probably would've still be running till this day if they remained on the south east side...
What coach were u in?
