Another cool thing about addy platebodies is that you can make those in f2p. So I let my membership run out and took my sweet time to get 88-99 in 2 months. In terms of saving bonds that's a big bonus too. It's perfect for during the summer when you don't want to be playing OSRS other than the couple of hours per week when you're at home not knowing what to do in between activities.
Another nice hybrid method that can be done, is a hybrid method between gold bars+any metal bar from steel to rune, for example addy+gold hybird blast furnace is around 200-220k xp per hour, and makes slight profit, where as pure gold would lose money. It's basicallly using a coal bag filled with coal+invent of gold, and filling the cauldron with first gold, then coal, and repeating until enough coal is in cauldron for the other bar ment to be made. Wiki has more in depth amounts needed for the method for each bar.
For Giants Foundry, at 8:50 you mention you can't create a hybrid of rune and mithril because they're too far apart. You can, there's just no benefit to doing so. If you wanted to, you could make an alloy hybrid of rune and bronze, but the quality rating will be worse than using steel and mithril, and basically identical to just using rune.
Ironman here that recently got 99 smithing. The way I did this was to first get 99 mining from purely doing motherlode as soon as it was unlocked. During this time, I would also periodically repair the water wheels, so that by the time I had 99 mining I was already at 45 smithing (I also did Doric’s quest). This allowed me to jump straight into all of my gold bars at blast furnace after, which got me from 45 to about 74 smithing. From there, I did an hour of mith bars at blast furnace, then made those into plate bodies, then took those plate bodies to giant’s foundry. This milks the amount of smithing xp you get per bar by a lot while still making a profit. I did this until I unlocked addy plates, by which time I started doing hybrids. So long as you got 99 mining through motherlode, you will have an insane amount of ore and enough coal to get 99 smithing this way. Not only did I have enough mats to get myself to 99, but then I had enough coal and ore left over to get the rest of my group (im a group iron) to 70 for quest capes. If you are a main, just do gold at blast furnace, but if you are an iron this is a tried and tested method you can trust. It took me about 2 months of mining to get 99 at motherlode, and then 2.5 weeks of smithing to hit 99. I gotta say, the smithing grind felt hella rewarding after all of that mining, lol. Good luck everyone.
Thank you I am currently doing the smithing grind, i did 99 mining right away when i got membership on the GIM. Currently have 16K mith bars and planning to make 7-8K addy bars and then it should be enough for 99 at giant's foundry
Buying from the GE is going to be faster than mining your own ores. Overall mining is low GP/hr, so choosing a better money maker and buying the supplies is a great option
@@SlyVillainy im at 80 something right now so just making mith untill i can make addy, not worried about losing gp but mith bodys dont lose me too much gp
@@masterpeece1983 for how easy going it is to just make platebodys in varrock, for me personally ill be doing it to 99 im not sure what current xp is but its pretty good from what i can remember
No it doesn't. Below 60 smithing you need to pay the foreman 2.5k every 10 minutes, but that 12.5k per hour is negligible compared to the gains you'll be actually making

Only downside is the giant foundry's equipment to not have effect in f2p otherwise great idea.

Brushing your teeth is boring but its worth it.

4 minutes of stretching is better than no minutes of stretching.
Thanks bro ❤

I don’t brush my teeth because NOEXP waste over here
Bruh who thought you that? All I read is:

Litterly 50 push ups a day can change lives. It takes a few minutes only to

For the levels 24-30, getting 85 iron warhammers is abit more than 170 iron bars. theyre 3 bars each, so it would be 255 iron bars.
its also 86 Iron Warhammers to get to 30, so it'll be 258 iron bars total.
Yeah but anyone smithing iron warhammers deserves misinformation
@@willsucura469 Lol fair
Gotta get 88 smithing for Lumby hard. Perfect timing dawg.
dont forget, its boostable
Lumby hard doesn't need 88 smithing
long and hard lol :D really got me there with kovac
Amazing gude as always
Where am I expected to get all the ore from?? Mining myself or buying from the GE?

Great review! 😊😇
What if I'm a lvl 3 skiller? Can't get ice and goldsmith gauntlets 😔
I've never played a lvl 3 skiller, so you prolly no better than me what your options are

Hey Dak everybody here from the comment section coming back at you with just another comment.
Blast furnace requires 60 smithing
No it doesn't.

so kovac likes long hard swords? is that on the wiki somewhere?
You can't get this type of S tier advice on the wiki 😎
i like how bro just lied about 170 bars needed to go from 24 to 30
I like how bro thinks I lied, rather than I just made a mistake
“Priff ann das”
Long and hard attributes. lol that was funny af.
Drink everytime he says Blast Furnace
Lost count after 30 😂
